NCCU Business Beta Gamma Sigma Received Highest Honors Chapter

N

CCU Beta Gama Sigma (BGS) academic honor society at North Carolina Central University School of business has received the Highest Honors Chapter award for 2019-2020. BGS is the highest recognition a business student can receive from an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. The purpose of Beta Gamma Sigma is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business and to foster personal and professional excellence among its members. The BGS Global Headquarters Staff and the Board of Governors have recognized the NCCU School of Business chapter on their hard work and dedication to Beta Gamma Sigma. Qualifying for this recognition is indicative of a campus where academic excellence is highly valued, and where

chapter officers work diligently to enhance Beta Gamma Sigma’s statue on campus. This recognition will be prominently displayed on the BGS website, at BGS events, and in publications like the Recognition of Excellence program (which is distributed at AACSB’s International Conference & Meeting and other AACSB events). “As an AASCB accredited institution Beta Gamma Sigma is one of our most valued honor associations,” said Dr. Anthony Nelson, Dean School of Business, “Time and time again our students have proven that an NCCU Business education and BGS association will provide them with the toolkit, network and opportunity to be immediate contributors to the global landscape. Congratulations to the entire BGS membership team for this welldeserved recognition.”
