MONICA ESPINIOSA 1. ¿El número de pacientes que han ingresado en este hospital por síntomas de intoxicación? Un promedio de pacientes que han ingresado por emergencia es de 10. 2. ¿Los pacientes que han ingresado en este hospital por síntomas de intoxicación son atendidos en su totalidad aquí o son enviados a otra institución? Depende de la gravedad de los pacientes ya que hay casos que el paciente llega inconsciente se lo envía a Machala al hospital Teófilo Dávila, pero la mayoría son atendidos aquí. 3. ¿Cuál es el índice de mortalidad de pacientes que han ingresado en este hospital por síntomas de intoxicación? El índice de mortalidad es de 0.5%, es decir que de 100 pacientes que ingresaron por intoxicación solo uno muere.
4. ¿Existen los recursos adecuados para atender a pacientes con síntomas de intoxicación? Este hospital si cuenta con los recursos para atender a este tipo de pacientes.
