On your bike ‘APPEAL WOULD HAVE GIVEN ANSWERS’ to raise cash A TeAM of 50 cyclists will pedal 740 miles from London to Copenhagen to raise cash to help projects in the developing world. The group of bikers will saddle up for Christian Aid, which needs vital funds. Now the charity is hunting for eager cyclists to join the “green pedal power” venture to the capital of Denmark that will also highlight the UN’s climate change summit. The trek takes place from December 9–16 and cyclists will cover between 25 and 65 miles per day and will bike no more than six hours a day. Spokeswoman Alison Gregory said: “This an amazing opportunity to make a real difference by making your voice heard at the crucial climate change talks in Copenhagen and at the same time raising money to help some the world’s poorest people.” For a brochure, the full itinerary, route profile, registration form and fundraising tips log on to www. c h r ist ia na id.org.u k /eve nts ca l l 020 7523 2248 or email events@ christian-aid.org.
