Prayer bid to halt swine flu
A ChristiAn prayer group that was launched after 9/11 is praying for those affected by the escalating swine flu outbreak. the Christian Emergency network (CEn) believes God is the only answer for the illness, which has affected a million people worldwide. CEn founder Mary Marr said: “this warrants an urgent call to prayer and personal/church preparation. the church is going to be the best at three things: Praying that many will be spared, a cure will be found, and that God becomes known by many through the crisis.” the Methodist Church is encouraging those housebound with the virus to dial in to church services on the internet.
