WE ALL AGREE THAT THE PANDEMIC CHANGED RADICALLY THE WAY WE LIVE, THINK, AND BEHAVE. TODAY, THE KEYWORD TO DEFINE NEW LUXURY IS ‘EXPERIENCE.

La gente anhela vivir experiencias, que pueden ser cosas sencillas, que quizá antes no apreciábamos, como disfrutar de un atardecer o estar en contacto con la naturaleza. Después de estar tanto tiempo encerrados, nos damos cuenta que hay cosas más importantes que realizar un viaje de lujo.

Hoy en día, el lujo está en lo ancestral, en la simplicidad de la naturaleza, y me parece que el turismo del futuro va por ese camino, y eso lo hemos podido apreciar a través de nuestro desarrollo hotelero en Cuatro Ciénegas. La gente busca ese contacto con lo natural, como disfrutar de un picnic al atardecer y contemplar cómo el sol le hace el amor a la luna en un lugar que nos conecta a nivel energético con la naturaleza. Desde mi punto de vista, éste es el nuevo lujo.

Nuestras empresas tienen un enfoque en pro de la conservación. Actualmente trabajamos en un proyecto en conjunto con el Museo del Desierto y losejidatarios de la zona en pro del rescate del Río Barabatal, en el que pretendemos recuperar más de 120 hectáreas de humedales.

EN MI OPINIÓN, LAS VACACIONES IDEALES COMBINAN LA COMODIDAD DE HOSPEDARTE EN UN LUGAR QUE PROPORCIONE SERVICIOS DE PRIMER NIVEL MÁS LA EXPERIENCIA DE ESTAR EN CONTACTO CON LA NATURALEZA, ASÍ COMO CONVIVIR CON LA CULTURA LOCAL. COMBINAR LO CULTURAL Y LO ANCESTRAL CON EL CONTACTO CON EL MEDIO AMBIENTE ES LO QUE GENERA UNA EXPERIENCIA ÚNICA DE VIAJE”.

People long to live experiences, which can be simple things we wouldn’t appreciate in the past, like enjoying a sunset or being in contact with nature. After such a long lockdown, we now realize that there are things more important than going on a luxurious trip.

Today, luxury is in the ancient, in the simplicity of nature. I believe that the tourism of the future will follow that path, and we’ve been able to observe that in our hotel in Cuatro Ciénegas. People look for communion with nature, something like having a picnic at sunset and contemplating the sun making love to the moon in a place that connects them with nature at an energetic level. From my point of view, this is what new luxury is about.

Our companies are focused on conservation. We are currently working on a project along with the Museum of the Desert and the ejidatarios to recuperate the Barabatal River. We intend to recover more than 120 hectares of wetlands.

IN MY OPINION, THE IDEAL VACATIONS COMBINE AN ACCOMMODATION THAT PROVIDES FIRST-CLASS SERVICES PLUS THE EXPERIENCE OF BEING IN TOUCH WITH NATURE AND THE LOCAL CULTURE. COMBINING CULTURE AND ANCIENT TRADITIONS WITH THE ENVIRONMENT CREATES A ONE-OF-A-KIND TRAVEL EXPERIENCE.
