Introduction A NEW HOPE FOR ARTISTS?

Contemporary art is the art of today, produced since the second half of the 20th century Contemporary artists work in a globally influenced, culturally diverse, and technologically advancing world Their art is a dynamic combination of materials, methods, concepts, and subjects that continue the challenging of boundaries that was already well underway in the 20th century. Contemporary art primarily is distinguished by the presence of cultural identity, community and nationality made by the artists living today

Contemporary art is not confined to a single point of view or any one objective. Any art of this genre is open-ended and can have many connotations making it a visual treat Each viewer can reflect on this form of art in his own way

INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS is happy to support all artists, whether they are beginners or established, on their wonderful artistic journey. They continue to create, despite all the troubles brought on by human society, like flowers that bloom between the cracks of the paved roads

INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS 2023 is excited to crown the winners of our international competition This year has been fruitful and our jury had the difficult task of choosing the finalists presented in this catalog Let's not forget all those who participated but didn't receive an award We wish them all the best, because art is a path which recognizes those who work with passion.

Enjoy life, your family and your art!

Have a good reading

Adélia Clavien from Miège (VS) is born in Portugal, has been living in Switzerland since 1981, and lives in Trélex

Although she spent a long time among the artistic community in Valais, she attended her first painting courses and started photography in St Gall where she lived 10 during years

Curious and passionate, Adélia has been fascinated by Arts since she was young and has been working in the IT domain for over 20 years

As an artist, she works in an autodidactic and passionate manner

She explores various painting technics (acrylic, charcoal, sand, stained glass, epoxy resin etc) and use her knowledge of photography to created original paintings mixed with photography – New Pop Realism. The various presented themes allow us to escape in a colored and mysterious universe – Adelia’s universe

Adelia works part-time in order to have more time for her artistic activities (photography, painting, music, dancing)

Self-educated, she is multitalented, speaks several languages, plays several music instruments, is comfortable with the new technology, and is a naturally open person

A few words from Adelia about her mixed media (photo & paint) on canvas

The mixed media technique brings an extra dimension to my work because it is full of elements, textures, details and allows me to explore the interactions between the different mediums and graphic instruments

Resonate in the heart of the symbol, towards the Essence

A self-taught artist in full bloom, Follow med feeds spiritually on the emotions that surround him in order to extract the very essence! He draws his inspiration from the depths of the Koranic letters which graphically structures the 99 Sublime Divine Names

« Today I have finally found my artistic style which I have named "Symbolo-Graphy", a vibratory mixture of symbols and graphics letters

Each artwork graphically puts in harmony, an emotion and its subtle triggering symbol, it tells us an authentic story that invites us to reconnect for a brief moment to our inner Being

This is how I like to intuitively perceive the alignment between The Symbol, the triggered emotion and The Divine Name (Essence)

An Unbreakable, Unshakeable, Radiant and Transcendent link! Each resonance with the triggering symbol becomes a work in progress.

From that moment, I am completely sucked in by this symbol, it carries me away with emotion to the discovery of the subtleties of the Divine Name with which it is aligned

I have always enjoyed drawing names in pencil, often letters in the form of branches, leaves, fruits and roots I also like to write on sand To reduce my impact on the environment, I opted for the ReMarkable2 tablet which I use to create my sketches (later finalised on Illustrator)

Belén Izquierdo is a 27 years- old self taught artist who shares her passion of nature and animal welfare through her paints

She expresses a distinctive vision and artistic style that were rich in imagery drawn from her passion of nature.

Environmental issues related to human activity is the base of her work

She features endangered animal species ( poaching, deforestation, pollution ) through harsh brush strokes, vivid black and white shades making her work alive

Her oil- painted live- size pictures, the lighting effects, a limited palette of black and white and the use of small dots of colours transcend the usual way of representing the fragility of animal life

These fragments of colours are an abstract allusion to her realistic work.

Iwasborn in 1956 in Germany and live for 4 years on the enchanting island of Madeira in the Atlantic Ocean My small studio is located in an idyllic mountain village in the Madeira Natural Park, a very large protected area with unique fauna and flora

Living and working in this wonderful nature is special for me every day and the impressive nature on this island inspired me to start the project

ART 4 OUR NATURE

Since art is also a means of communication, my desire to create art for motivating people to do more for the protection of nature, which is important for all of us, and to give something back to the earth

In recent years, I therefore created mainly art objects that are intended to inspire people to think and act positively, starting with a large-format sculpture called "Hope", to very small-format acrylic objects from my title series MAXIMINIMALISMUS The typical finestructured, multi-layered painting backgrounds of canvas and gesso, the very special painting techniques as well as the strongly reduced picture compositions with the high-contrast rear object areas, create special interactions and give the objects a high radiance and depth effect

In order to be able to promote the preservation and restoration of valuable ecosystems, I make a large part of my objects available for nonprofit actions

For one of these actions I designed particularly compact MONO stand objects I gave the objects the abstract subtitle "GOLDEN SIGNALS OF NATURE", because I was fascinated years ago by the idea that trees can communicate by means of signals through a network of fungi and roots under the earth's surfacethis fascination turned into inspiration and great pleasure in designing the objects

In my non-profit actions I deliberately refrain from generating profits, as I would like to motivate as many people as possible to donate a very important amount of money for the realization of nature conservation projects - this would be a gain for all of us

ART 4 OUR NATURE together we are stronger

ChrisD ’s artistic journey is almost like offpiste sculling But her tracks in the powder snow reveal a creator who differs from the vast majority of others in one essential respect. Chris D does not live to build up a pedigree from meeting to meeting and exhibition to exhibition. To follow her own path, at her own pace, corresponds to a vision of art as an aesthetic of life, an art of living

Everything in Chris D ’s career leads one to think that, for her, the artist must be permanently inscribed in her human and social environment And not just to reveal finished and varnished works to the public during an exhibition Christelle’s art breathes at a different pace She strives to feel good every time and to feel life where she is

But why does art have to be so intimately embedded in everyday life in her eyes? First of all, because if you approach photography as a musician, you think that when you play an instrument, the notes fly out and enter the ears of all passers-by You just have to do the same with the lens that you always take with you to the market. A photographer has to make his/her pictures “heard” by everyone But that is not all Chris D ’s art makes this clear

Combining photography and graphic design means taking the world and reshaping it You start with what exists, taken on the spot, and you modify it, if you want, ad infinitum And then you show the world that has not been treated by art, what it could or can be Chris D ’s work is part of this idea Her art has the simple and natural project of beautifying life To her taste To her idea And sometimes life spontaneously agrees with Christelle Like when it sends her an invitation to participate to international Art Fairs

Ihave always been attracted by Art: painting, sculpture, street art Self-taught painter, I have not been trained by anyone However, with a lot of obstinacy and curiosity, I tried this crazy experience of artistic creation

I let myself be guided by my feelings and I let myself be guided by my feelings and my passion for colour, and it is through colour that I came to Art. Colour has become my writing, an emotional imprint and all my work is organised around it I apprehend each painting on canvas through its prism, then the subject or the shapes intervene and finally the textures add body

I have tried various techniques but it is acrylic and oil that I particularly enjoy The former for its acidic colours and incredible mediums and the latter for its transparency and light Lately, I combine these techniques with Indian ink, acrylic ink, pouring paint to bring heterogeneous consistencies as well as adding collage of collage of gold and silver leaf

Some of the 10 paintings presented in this issue were exhibited in Albi at the ESPACE Art with 3 other artists They will be exhibited again in the gallery in December 2022.

It was a great opportunity to exhibit with other artists inspired by colour

It is a very representative selection of my favourite themes: trees, Spain, women, gardens (with a diptych) and abstracts One of the paintings, "Pure Energy", received the "coup de coeur" prize at the Abstract Art 2021 competition One of the paintings, "Pure Energy", won the "coup de coeur" prize in the Abstract Art 2021 competition that your magazine organises every year

A Nephrologist and an Artist A Doctor and a Human I have chosen not to chose

I feel part of the Whole and drawings are parts of me

They overcame myself Their impulse to embody supported me throught hard times of perversion and medical practice, their beauty healed my soul

Art has been the doctor of the doctor

I did feel confortable with my drawings, overprotected

But from now on, they demand to be seen They have emotions and stories to tell Of course I obey the drawings I created and place my confidence in their process

My desire is to draw some truth : health workforce are human too Even though nurses and doctors are rewarding jobs, in 2022 these people are exhausted : post-COVID19 period is revealing how taking care can also be painful Daily illness, patients’ suffering, wounds, loss of bodily integrity It takes courage to accept death, treatment failure and our own powerlessness Their is an urgent need for financial aknowledgement and social support for those who cure Health providers have to realise they also deserve to take responsability for their own well-being (delicious food, beautiful nature, time to sleep and play) to keep on giving their light to others We are helpers, not slaves nor punching-balls

I try my best everyday to transform fear into beauty, within patients and me

ABYSS WILDLIFE AND OTHER CREATURES

After an intense year and looking back, almost losing track of time, one cannot help but recognize the evolution, the maturation of a work forged over the years

Trials, failed attempts, and perseverance are my only secret

Part of my inspiration comes from the absence of light, from the deepest sea, and year after year, merging with other creative projects linked to video art, they have been emerging in a synthesized search, where color and form take on a new meaning

Creations in 3D virtual reality, complement the work on paper and help the viewer to immerse themselves in a new medium, where space shows us no limits of movement

With an origin and training in artistic drawing, observation is my best tool

Understand, connect with that fractal rhythm, the essence that animates and makes each element represented in my work unique

For this reason, in the process of creation, the mind has to be in balance, in connection, thus letting out brushstroke by brushstroke, in a fresh and spontaneous way as if it were a dance, this new imaginary and its representation

Different scenery, different spaces, where he shows us the fragility and balance of an ecosystem in constant decline

I am not talking about environmentalism, nor do I pretend to be a catastrophist, but I do feel that I am portraying landscapes that no longer show that splendor today One cannot avoid reflecting on it and perhaps my works in the future will be another way of remembering and feeling

My works are not the same, they are different, from black & white till colours, from figurative until abstract, from painting until ready made, depending on the topic I approach

I consider important, that my works to have (between others), a basic idea, to tell a story, to reflect the confidence in creating, to have the power of caption and determine to Think

Art is in my veins, creation is part of my life and makes my days complete I create because I feel so and I do what comes from inside in order to stay legitimate, honest and Original!

French painter from Quebec, I am inspired by nature, horses and angels. Holder of a Master's degree in visual arts from the University of Paris 8 and a Certificate in university teaching from Concordia University in Montreal, I divide my time between painting and art education

Blue, symbol of spirituality, predominates in my works But other colors, such as yellow or red, can also appear I consider myself a visionary artist: angels speak to me and painting allows me to convey their messages, from which words are absent For me, painting is the language of the soul

I work in oil, on wooden panels or canvas For the sake of unity, most of my works are square or round. I love Renaissance art and Classicism, and spend a lot of time on each artwork, from the initial idea to the final realization. Slowly, touch by touch, layer after layer, the artwork emerges from the chaos of the canvas I like to think that painting is a bridge between man and the spiritual

Over the past two years I've done a series on astrology and worked on contemporary themes like "Sublimi Deus" which deals with the Pope's request for forgiveness from the natives And above all, I painted a very personal work: "Phoenix", which symbolizes the healing and renaissance of a relative after brain cancer Life is stronger than anything

I mainly exhibit in Quebec, Montreal, London and Vancouver

Now88 years old, I have a more realistic notion of the status of "artist". I do not systematically give this qualifier to anyone (including me) exhibiting their own works

Before delivering my current productions to others, I drew and painted in the context of my time: pencil, ballpoint pen, paper, canvas, oil paint, acrylic, on wood, on any physical medium and that for pleasure and sometimes to pay for my supplies by doing custom work, reproductions of portraits, paintings, postcards, etc

But 60 years later the computer has become my master and I still work for the pleasure of translate my impressions or other feelings in the form of immaterial works first but likely to be reproduced on various media and seen on all digital tools

With the experience of age I have acquired the conviction that there are above all 2 main categories in art: ephemeral art and timeless art The first is mainly linked to fashions and media players, the second has acquired a base where the influence of the number of the golden ratio allows clairvoyants to resist time Beauty and harmony have no age

My pleasure in producing contemporary works comes before any mercantility and if someone sees in these images what I was not able to see there it's always possible

IamSylvie, born in 1976, I come from France more precisely from Dordogne

I am a painter in my spare time

Passionate about this art since my childhood, I embarked on the adventure

I have never taken a class or attended art school, I am self-taught learning alone was a real challenge for me

I helped myself a lot by looking at the technique and the works of other painters professionals, in order to improve myself in the artistic field.

I didn't really have a particular style, I draw a bit of everything without the fuss, because a At the time, drawing helped me to escape, to decompress

Then I tried pastel pencils, and acrylic paint, that's when I started noticed that this art took more and more space in my life

So I looked for a style of my own, something that I would have liked to draw every day

After reflection, I had finally found a style, my passion for animals and the painting that I merge and which allowed me to continue on this path.

A strong emotion when I paint all these animals, that's what I like in this field, I don't not looking to be known, only to make my passion my job, in my eyes the most beautiful job in the world

Theart of Marie Sisley Chancy is both a poem and a journey. A poem that holds your hand along the path that the gaze travels to take you far towards daydreaming and the prettiest things in life

It is a journey along which we come across and pick up treasures of emotions expressed by the artist, the story of a life that is his and ours

Through this story, we encounter the expression of our fears, but also that o! how soothing our hopes despite the setbacks The art of Marie Sisley is a free art in its forms, colors, projected lights and chosen themes

He even allows himself to give the viewer a place to name his works, the beauty of which competes with the demands of his science and his extraordinary talent

This art, while being silent on the sound level, seems to resound through the airwaves with its bold forms, its unique technique, and it’s almost romantic poetry

From her authentic creations to her collages, we are surprised to learn that Marie Sisley has only been painting for a short time

Long live his magnificent art

Passionate about art, painting in particular, and this, from a very young age, I started oil painting following a major health problem Since then, I haven't stopped It has become an all-consuming passion

I combine painting with philosophy Each canvas starts with a philosophical idea My favorite themes are: the human condition, "getting out of the box", the role of man on earth (with its particularities and its shortcomings), the evolution of our planet and its safeguard, the Universe

I am constantly questioning All subjects interest me

Where I feel best is in front of my easel, brushes in hand. Time no longer exists, the world can collapse, I'm fine, I'm me, alone in front of my oil paintings! I mainly paint at night, between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m., when everything is calm The inspiration is multiplied I often compare the practice of this art to meditation I draw my strength and my energy from these moments Through my works, whether animal or not, I try to convey messages, winks to life Painting and philosophy are one!

I believe in the Universe and its powers! I know that my guardian angel is there, nearby, guiding me in this marvelous passion Namely: each of my paintings is accompanied by a philosophical sheet

On December 3, I received the High Recognition "MENELAO" King of Sparta 2022 award from the Italia in Arte nel Mondo Academy. In the presence of Civil, Religious and Military Authorities as well as personalities from the world of Culture, Social Commitment, Art and Science.

There will always be artist There will always be women, men, with their deals, their inspiration, their creativity, who will want to make art whorthwhile

For my part , art is indefinable By choosing phrotography, I don’t obey any rule and what I take in picture is only the reflecion of my state of mind For me art doesn’t answer to any standard and i’m inspired by my daily life trying to sublimating it I believe thet we can be out of the beaten tracks but if we have sensibility , we can say we are artists.

Born in Lyon, the city of Lumière Brothers, i was immersed at a very young age with a father artist He thought as me, that i was not enough to want to create but il was necessary to feel it inside

For me it’s just a question of feeling, a question to feel it inside of you It’s easy to denie bt for each artist it’s different, for me my inspiration is my daily life bt another il could be people or animals or nature The noly way is thinking everybody is different

Born of a painter mother and a musician father, Bellule has always been immersed in an artistic universe After graduating from the Fine Arts School, she continued her training in the studio of a hyperrealist painter, then moved to her own studio

Her influences are multiple because for her "painting is timeless and never ceases to be and to be reborn" Bellule draws her inspiration from inside and outside her She loves getting lost in nature, filling her head with images and sensations that feed her imagination. Highly sensitive, she absorbs the surrounding emotions in order to nourish her own and restore them in her creations.

Her work explore the expressive potential of movements, shapes and effects created by the mixing and colors confrontation, the touches differences In a permanent quest for the "magic" of painting, patience seeks transparency and depth, attention to detail, contrasts by "color-light", "color-darkness", any experimentation that can vibrate the soul is good to take!

In her expressionist work ranging from the figurative to the abstract, the portrait is a favorite theme Over time, Bellule reduced the gap between figuration and abstraction, producing portraits with a freer interpretation, tending towards the abstract.

The important for her is the reconnection of the sensitive and the inner vibrations in painting The pleasure of the eyes is essential but the effect felt must transcend simple aesthetic beauty, touch an emotional and sensory beauty, activate an internal dialogue, thus nourish and increase sensitivities by mixing aesthetics and emotions

Technology at the service of culture? Through any artistic expression associated with cultural development as a means of expression, it will be reflected in the Communication of the work as Art

In a world in constant evolution, where technology plays an important role in our daily activity and within the reach of any person, it would be unthinkable not to use it for cultural purposes associated with the expression and communication of the same creation, and not to the local but global scope

Let's think, if Leonardo da Vinci or Michelangelo lived at this time, would they use the technology and knowledge available to them in the creation of their works?

In the creation process of any Author, in any cultural field, as a means of transmitting the work, what matters most is its Communication, its history The eyes are the guardians of the Soul, through them we see what sometimes the author does not see in his work, it is the viewer who ultimately accepts the story.

Where the spectator's imagination is capable of opening a dialogue with the work, based on technology, a new world is capable of being seen through the eyes and opening up in our minds, becoming aware of it

Every cultural artistic manifestation is free and conscious when it is transmitted

Joseph Nün, pseudonym of the author (Castrelo de Miño, 1963) Founder of the Black&chain Community Collective whose purpose is the promotion of Culture through Technology and with a Social benefit

TheRaku® picture, an original creation by Sabine Chabot, was born out of my encounter with a professional sculptor

Moved by the cracks and iridescence of her sculptures, I wanted to share this emotion in my photographic work

The treatment applied to my images echoes the unpredictable reactions of terra cotta with the firing of enamel

Each photo, like each sculpture, is a unique piece, impossible to reproduce, the result of a happy coincidence, the inspiration of a moment, and the work of the artist.

The work carried out on these photographs consists in selecting a tiny part of an initial picture and working on its colors, shape, and geometry to extract an atmosphere and share an emotion

The original shot becomes a raw material on which a series of treatments is carried out to reach a unique final creation

My grandfather's photography in the 1968 revolution revisited in my work

The new consciousness experienced then is being experienced today with a radically different paradigm

Marie MAITRE, a 37-year-old self-taught artist, creates sculptures mainly with paper clips In 2017, she was looking for a medium that could take her a lot of time, a material that she could buy in very large quantities at a lowercost

"At that time, I had to occupy my hands confides the Artist"

Since that time, paper clips have become an essential drug for his reason for living

No longer having room to create her sculptures, Marie MAITRE focused on photography For her, it was a great idea because the photos wouldn't hold up

She then made photos using her own body, with a delicate sensuality, as a vector of expression It is she herself who takes the photos and to make them even more alive she makes a montage with sets, images,... Marie MAITRE tells us thats heis exhausted after her photo shoot hours

"To create until one's last breath and to be able to leave a small trace of us on this Earth" isn't it magnificent ?

She invites you to discover her autobiographical novel "Francesca, from pain to flight" to understand a little better her artistic approach

The Artist has also written a 2nd book "Beyond the Wall of Darkness" which will be released in the coming weeks

Come and immerse yourself in the madness of the Artist

For me, art is magic

I have been immersed in it since childhood, my mother was a passionate stylist, she made breathtaking dresses

Watching her do it, I wanted to learn

I am an autodidact, I love to learn by myself and to seek information when I decide

After exercising a reassuring job for a few years, I gave up everything because I didn't feel in my place

I'm leaving France to drop off my bags in Martinique, which seems logical to me since I'm Metisse.

Different trainings lead me to be a craftsman in the field of fabrics, then I obtained my title of Artisan of art in textile leather goods I mix with audacity different fabrics and colors

My collections are sold with happiness throughout the world and are very popular

I get my LABEL Martinique for my creations

The arrival of the Covid is coming, the sale of my products is collapsing Not knowing how to stay idle, my old art lessons led me to take up my brushes again, and here I am again in painting, I mainly use acrylic with which I find a great complicity

I discover my style, being Caribbean, very colorful and expressive.

I followed postgraduate scientific training in the field of cognitive anthropology and environmental sciences With residences in Brazil, Italy, and México, I am currently a researcher at the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) on issues of biocultural heritage and risks My learning of art, the discovery of the language, started late, little by little, through different workshops, and a diploma in art anthropology For this, I tried a process through mixed techniques, graphics, oil, watercolor, and pastel

The works I have created represent a search for the different levels of consciousness and our world setting These invisible connections underlie our experience. Places of memory and mystery The secret links that unite us to ecosystems, earth, water, plants, minerals, and non-human organisms. Possible hybridizations and transformations Apart from these explorations is concentrated on the worldviews, beliefs, and various daily, intimates or group rituals I tried to find memories linked to ways of being in the world without knowing where this path would lead me

Aman is his time, said Jean Paul Sarthe Art is no exception to this rule, and Rizzo is the perfect illustration

Teenager, in the tumultuous and Pop 70s, where passion, creativity, utopia, politic engagement and later disillusions were the leavens of his youth

This son of italian immigrants from workingclass neighborhoods couldn't stay out of the events of May 68

Photographer at heart, his camera in hand he criss-crosses barricades and unpaved street

This wandering, more like an initiatory journey, : naturally leads him to where the history of art met History : « the popular workshop of fine arts in Paris »

He finds out the politicaly engaged posters made in many copies by a new technology to which he is initiated: screen printing

This language, striking, easy, effective, flat colors, will influence many of his creations full of pop-culture icons

Exhibiting over time under various pseudonyms, once photographer then poster designer or graffiti artist, curious of new technologies like computer, graphic tab, he always stays surprisingly modern and in tune with the time

Nowadays this timeless Neo-Pop remains loyal to the Pop-Art's spirit and narrative figuration.

He recycles and diverts images, uses the old to create new and tells us in each canvas a story, our story

Bernard Delhalle, author and photographer born in 1955 in Lille, North of France

For the past twenty-two years, French photographer Bernard Delhalle has devoted his talent to fine-art nude photography

He started focusing on photography in the early 2000s, having learned a lot from renowned directors of photography during his twenty years as head lighting engineer on television studio sets

His knowledge of light management helped him create his own style, playing with the shadows to master the chiaroscuro technique.

Bernard Delhalle became a specialist in the genre and turned to “phototherapy” to answer the needs of the women who enjoyed their time posing for him

The women he photographs are not models, they are the average woman in the street, the girl next door, women of all ages suffering from low self-confidence and struggling with body image

These women find therapeutic virtues in nude photoshoots, with the photographer's gaze acting as a remedy

Delhalle's book, “Remettre les pendules à l'heure” (Set the record straight) is available in all French libraries and worldwide on Amazon

Featured in several galleries like Artphotolimited as well as private collections in the whole world

CARMELO ESTEBAN, Zaragoza 1963. From a very young age he lives in Medinaceli where he is soaking up the essence of being, his sculptural concerns flowing Where he discovers the beauty of the figurative, of the abstract, in a complementary binomial

It seems to me that it is impossible to look at an abstract work without appreciating references from the representative world, just as it is difficult to create a highly figurative work and not appreciate the abstractions it contains

That is my determination, to assume the essential construction / destruction binomial, creating metaphorical, sober but binding works.

Opening up endless radical possibilities as well as at the time of drawing a work to access existential creative thought

In the last three years this passion to express my concerns and feelings has led me to participate in international art fairs (Frankfurt, Milan, Luxembourg, Austria, Caceres )

Vivian Atienza is a spanish-german painter, born in Düsseldorf, Germany, in 1983

Decending from an andalusian family of painters, during her studies of art history and philosophy at the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf (2008-2013), she profounded her painting skills with the intellectual perspective of philosophical theory and art theory

She dedicated herself to find the fusion of color frequency, movement and the metaphysical body of thought, which is reflected by her figurative and abstract paintings Always playing with intense color expression, due to the use of neon pigments and UV-Light, extending the radius of the perceptual fields

One of the artists core topics in her art is transformation

As part of alchemical processes of life, matter and the human being itself, undergo different states of consciousness on the way to sublimation of self

The artist s motivation is to create a wide ranged perceptual space for tangency between the cleft of untransformed and " yet to be transformed" spaces of consciousness; the gap in which different dimensions of reality within ourselves may meet and offer inspiration, as an invitation to encounter perception of self

As life comprises a cataclysmic element of transformative cycles, the artists paintings contain a glimpse of that internal journey

IamFrancisco Rodríguez, I was born in 1976 in Murcia (Spain), currently residing there I am a painter and sculptor, rather introvert at first but observant, passionate and impulsive From a very young age my passion for drawing, painting and scupture was palapable for everyone, as well as my personal way of seeing things

Very young I entered the School of Art but the hermetic academic rigor, bad experiences with some teacher and my rebellion produced in me a weariness and discouragement that led me to others paths and business and life experiences But my artistic facet did nothing but grow, until painting and art came to my rescue Self-taught ( although I think we all drink in and learn from other artists by looking at a work)

Nowadays I am working on one of my projects, the EGO FURTIVO series, 37 paintings and 3 scuptures in which I show situations and delve into feelings, dreams, nightmares and how we react as a society and as an individual, with a furtive silence, made with touches of critical realism

I intend a reflection on the meaning and how we act in life My work is potentially sentimental, viscerally, passionate, that is what I transmit in it, although I love that the same work evokes different feelings in each person.

Art is my profession, my world and it is my history and just like me, each work evolves when I am working on it This is where I can be myself, in front of a blank canvas, a story to write I am passionate about all techniques and styles With my second opportunity I have learnt to enjoy every aspects of shape, texture, colour and technique Everything comes, never stop creating and believing

Letme introduce myself:

My name is René-Marcel-Constant Rochat and i was born on 13 May 1960 in Lausanne,in Frenchspeaking Switzerland

"Drawing has always been a part of my life since I was very young

Self-taught, passionate about the masterpieces of the Great Masters of the 2nd and 3rd art: Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, Tiziano Vecellio, Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, Leonardo da Vinci, Salvador Dali, René Magritte, Théodore Géricault, Eugène Delacroix, Ercole dell Abate, GuidoPietro, Giovanni Angelo Borroni, Cecco del Caravaggio, Guiseppe Arcimboldo, Donatello di Niccolo di Betto Bardi, and many others

I wanted, on my own scale, to transcribe my sensations and emotions, in order to transmit an artistic spiritual experience

What is the essence of life? time? of the universe?

My questions are expressed in my creations Stories rendered and conceptualized from the media, culture, politics, society I capture as much information as possible about key moments in history I tell them and paint them like a "Jãtaka" in small symbolic scenes, in windows, thus depicting a subjective and illusory play

The preferred supports are cotton or linen canvases, oil paint sometimes cardboard, paper, drywall, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, pencil

Invites itself to my meditative creation, clay sculptures

In 2022, I have the opportunity to be selected as a Laureate, at the Academy "Italia in Arte nel MondoAssociazione Culturale", for the High Recognition of the INTERNATIONAL BIENNIAL OF VISUAL ARTS"THE LAND OF OTRANTO" in Lecce Italia, for the title of : Master Honorificentiam artium meritis

Over time and in the course of her exhibitions the artist has perfected her talents

Her imagination incorporates many themes in which she painstakingly mixes spontaneity and reflection, beginning with a sketch and then surrendering to her sensitivity and creativity

She loves to paint personalities whose stories have particularly entranced her in the form of a tribute portrait

Nature is her muse and she paints beautiful landscapes , wild animals and beloved pets

She is particularly skilful and adept in breathing life into inanimate objects such as adored vehicles such as cars, bikes and motor bikes, these being a regularly requested item Nothing is beyond her imagination and expertise such that very often objects are given a life of their very own by the artist’s superb skilful hand, eye and imagination, seeming often to leap out of the canvas as if they were the real object

Little is beyond her talent and her imagination and her creative spirit extends to influences from all of her surroundings, these encouraging and, importantly, permitting the artist to deposit them so expertly and with such passion into her canvas

AsI walk, in the Basque Country where I live, or elsewhere, provided Nature surrounds me, I photograph instinctively My Canon is the extension of my sensitive being.

I started photography at the age of 20, after a trip to Andes Mountains.

The endlessness of this location, where man's presence is almost unsubstantial, led me to question myself on the relationship between humanity and its environment

Here, outside, all around, I only want to see an infinite beauty Here and now, in this very moment, I must grasp it To extract myself from the world and make it looked at To remind us that we are only passengers

And you, what do you see there?

Between nostalgie and rebirth

Pointer since always, let me introduce myself I’m Ruiz Pascual born the 10/10/1953 in Barcelona, living in Paris area I am a member Academy of Art, Science, and lettres, Art19 and I have had numerous exhibitions at the Thullier Gallery in Paris.

Today I can take the time to let my émotions run I express them in landscapes with classical colors, théâtre give rythm to the atmosphère of the paintings between space and relief

Where calmness and escape reig in another way of dreaming and giving myself body and soul to my work

Each canvas is a message of plénitude and serenity that I offer to my own imagination

After polychrome landscapes I have practiced in a sensitivity way using oil on canvas exclusively painting between blacks and White of subjects like dancers and musical instruments, that allow me to privilege the dynamics of the action and harmonious vibrations I’d dive again deep into my emotions to brith my next work that will be soon exhibited

Born in 1961, François Désiré is an autodidact.

His inspiration comes from the news but also from the emotion that give him literrature and music

Admiring the technique and work of classical painters, he is especially passionate about the artists' works from the XXth century

Some years to mature his art have been necessary His first paintings were created eighteen years ago

What he prefers is to work the colors and materials for that, he does not hesitate to mix various pictoral techniques

Asa child, I filled sheets of paper with a multitude of colored spots until I no longer sawany white

I loved these explosions of colors

Later, I became interested in combining papercuts to make paintings

But it was during my stays in Africa that I discovered different crafts and was attracted by wooden sculptures

Colors, paper, sculptures it was enough for my passion for "paper art" on sculptures to be born

Today, my only claim is to trigger astonishment, curiosity and emotions

Convey feelings and offer happiness in color

Colors are everywhere and have a direct influence on our lives through the emotions they arouse

Iworkwith my own photos then my images are fragments of other images and other moments As in the processes of nature, I decompose in order to recompose. Because even if what we see is beautiful, it is already past and memory I was born in Buenos Aires I spent a good part of my adult life living in Buenos Aires and in Paris In Buenos Aires I studied computer engineering

As I was always attracted to photography and painting, I took photography courses and attended painting workshops with the painter Luisa Reisner In France I studied landscape design at the Ecole Nationale de Paysage in Versailles It was there that, on the advice of one of my teachers, I began to experiment with photo and photo edit softwares in order to represent my gardens And a whole world of colours and shapes, of movement and light opened up, allowing me to show what I see in my mind

In 2022 I was invited to participate in several events, probably because of the boom in digital expression

- Brain cake, M A D S Art Gallery, Barcelona, December

- Adenocromo for dinner, M A D S Art Gallery, Milan/Fuerteventura, November

- DreamArs III, Art Space ARS, Milano, Hub/Art, September

- FOCUS ART FAIR, Paris, Carrousel du Louvre, September

And, as a landscape designer, I received the press award at the exhibition "JARDINS, JARDIN", Paris, Jardins de Tuileries, for the garden 'La Canopée Urbaine'

Born on October 21, 1965 from a Corsican family, I discovered photography at the age of 14 during holidays in the Alps Passionate, I acquire my first argentic camera and I set up my small black and white development laboratory

My first attempts will be rather laborious, but my mistakes will quickly be put to good use

Although life will put me far away from the lens, I am however going to interest me in the new field of activities such as cinema and painting

It was only much later, at the age of 53, that I seriously began to study photography technics and was interested in the use of light, which I have a particular sensibility.

I like to explore different aspects beyond the visible spectrum, for example, in the infrared or even in the ultraviolet

Through my photos, I try to stake a place, a moment, a period of time, using, for example, technical post-production tools to recreate an atmosphere or an atypical environment, or also using the relationship which can exist between the earth and the sky in order to give a divine meaning, even sometimes mystical

Self-taught, the desire to rediscover landscapes and to share a time, a moment of history through a personal vision of my Corsican roots is the path I am looking for

Ifthe work of Patou B falls within the scope of a symbolic trend, it is in the first place pointing towards the freedom of expression and the lyrical abstraction

His paintings are like sentences well constructed with a nice consonance but most of all, his paintings shall be experienced

The biggest eyes are not enough to feel the most beautiful subtleties: violent beauty, devastating nostalgia and brute gentleness

Art exists to make us experience a smile ripped off the will of a man as a hot tear streaming with emotions Look at his paintings, close the eyes and strongly remember a gesture, a contour Think about it and forget about it and then remember it angrily

His gesture impulses, stimulated by his will, reveal an intuitive imagination and a search inspired by the harmony of colors, the balance of shapes, the choice of formats and textures to please the eagle eye and the personal experience beyond the intellectualization of the work

That is the hope that the paintings of Patou B bear within them

He paints to make your eyes speak

He had many exhibitions in World, he was a designer of theatre costumes and advertising items and a writer for the "Roses Noires" fanzine

But then, where does the contemplative artist stand? How to designate his resilience and how to name his reaction, his revolt?

A graphic meditation, a stream of contrasts, fragments, colours and sensations?

A black background to say how dark despair is, sparse of fluorescence to tell the rise, the rebirth, without sacrificing the foundation of what a human is; a being who doubts

Luminous? Often Solar? Certainly when it is projected away from themself

In this moving balance, just like the valiant cyclist, DéN chose to remain the helmsman of a ship that sails on the flow of benevolent thoughts

I’vebeen keen on Art since I was young; painting has always been a part of me. Art helps me to free myself, to release emotions and to increase my creativity My second passion is the English language and I work as an English teacher In 2020 I felt the need to let Art play a greater role in my life and so I’ve started a side career as a Painter Since then, I’ve participated to a few exhibitions and magazines in France and Spain

I love using bright colors especially pink, my favorite, which can both convey a lot of energy or some sweet feeling, depending on the hues Very early I’ve been drawn to painting female nudes, working on the silhouette and the body curves But I also paint flowers and many male portraits with melancholic, sad or angry looks I like mixing stern and tough men faces with pink colors It makes me question some stereotypes about what our society considers as masculinity or virility and what we associate with femininity

Painting is for me a way to face and think about some societal issues as well as a way to express myself When I start canvas, I don’t always know where I’m heading I like letting my emotions take the upper hand on my brain and discovering the result I also like moving from one subject to another, to follow my instinct and explore various aspects of Art

Pay homage to life, to its colors, its dramas and its joys For me, art is a language without barriers or borders!

There are no other languages capable of touching a heart with the one and only means, our soul. We always speak from the heart when we create

It's a communion, letting your dreams speak, enveloped in love, in a world that very often teaches us division I tell of universal emotions, common pains, because the other is for me a passion, a source of inspiration

What I want is to make people travel in their imagination

It's a story that could start with "once upon a time" Sometimes some dreams deserve to be lived and can succeed: this is what the adventure in which has embarked on proves to us the artist Robin DUBOIS "says the cat"

He has always been drawn to art However, in his eyes, to be a painter, drawing is essential

So, he goes through different trades, he touches a bit of everything Then, while visiting an exhibition, he discusses with an artist who advises him to try

Mastering drawing is not essential, you just need to be passionate, so why not try the abstract ?

This is what he tries, and he immediately meets with success The exhibitions follow one another; from Lyon in Miami, Palma de Mallorca, Zurich etc

His style pleases and calls to the dream However, when he launches into a canvas, he does not really have an idea, he decides through several colors and all his imagination is freed

He likes the detail, tries to guess the emotions behind the faces of the spectators

Former boxer, since then he walks a lot and is inspired by it for the creation of his paintings

He often starts with primary colors, then mixes according to his ideas; sometimes he adds more pastel tones, sequins and several kinds of materials, on 3D supports

Sided by AKOUN Jacky-Armand, he finished three times as a finalist for three of his works Each of its canvases calls for escape, dreams, and contains as many mysteries and magic as the story of the artist himself His quote: "I feel by color, so it is by it that my canvas will always be organized

At the age of 10 I took an entrance exam to an art school (so my whole family moved to the capital of the country) where I have studied drawing, painting, art history, clay modeling etc

Starting from high school and then at faculty I have changed my course of education towards economics. In the last 20 years I have worked in an advertising company, but I did never give up my first love: painting

I have always made time for painting and also for visiting art museums all over Europe

Through painting I got to know myself better and by visiting art museums I discovered there is so much beauty in our world

Based in North East Scotland, where the climate and natural environment are fickle and glorious, I naturally gravitated to capturing their visual and emotional impact Yet I am another refugee from conventional landscape photography, due to a dissatisfaction in the limitations of simply recording a slavish reproduction which fails to express the elemental drivers that trigger your emotional response

This was accelerated by my natural love of abstraction, within the painting canon, as well as taking up my own abstract painting practise

My fundamental medium is photography I will use various in camera techniques to blur detail and abstract shapes in the landscape and more recently from urban and architectural scenarios I seek both complementary and contradictory relationships with shapes, colours, forms, contrast and texture to see through the chaos and identify the beauty, from what can often be the mundane and overlooked This drive tolook beyond showing things as they are, is how I strive to evoke an emotional response from my work

There seems to a natural need to be able to label what you do, I assume to determine some immediate context If I had to I would class what I try to do as

Photographic Expressionism

However, although my starting point is an encounter with an experience or scenario using the camera as my primary tool, thereafter I am free to use whatever medium I fell necessary Stretching boundaries is not just an egotistical push back against convention, it just removes constraints and frees you to see beyond arbitrary rules

My works involves layering in camera followed by an instinctive but un-regimented process of adding in mixed media, including my own paintings, in oils and digital art I probably couldn’t describe or define my process, it is immersive and fluid, each decision being driven by the previous one

It is simplicity through abstraction, not in terms of being minimalist, but in emphasising only the key elements

To create is to share a piece of oneself, and of one's universe; it's my way of making my ephemera immortal, and leaving the spectator's mind free to any interpretation There, on a wall, in a house, my creations open another window on life

Creative and passionate by nature, my inspiration certainly comes from the fact that I have always been very dreamy, and what is more, a great writer at heart

The passion that drives me is to make their souls, their feelings shine in people's eyes To see them moved because a creation sends back an image, a memory

Nothing is more gratifying than exchanges at trade fairs and exhibitions People who shed a tear because an emotion overwhelms them, another of a certain age who leaves with so much joy and pleasure in their eyes, it's priceless

Since then, I work every day in my studio and navigate with my instinct, my dreams, the mishaps that show the way, the encounters and my determination to always progress, to explore, to live in the light!

My ideas often arrive while working and I am open to changes of course and favorites I like to work like that, to feel myself vibrate, to set off on unexplored paths

I cherish this passion that has occupied my free time for several years

The one that made me question myself, try, fail, understand, succeed

The one that mixes feelings, emotions, precision, meticulousness, aesthetics

I still have so much to learn

I am only asking for that

Continue my way, climbing from branch to branch to reach the canopy

Because with the will, nothing is impossible, and everything is possible, as long as we imagine it! And delighted, my name is Aline

Since her early childhood, Valérie ARVALYS has been immersed in a creative world, as a painter and as a cultural artist

She enjoyed being a dancer, she loved being a visual artist, a poetess, a woodcarver, a clay shaper, working with different materials, creating her own pigments and thinking about recycling for future works

These different artistic experiences, including those from art schools, her participation in various exhibitions, as well as her thirst for knowledge, have nourished and energized her creativity and her taste for color and aesthetics It was thus naturally that she felt close to Art Nouveau and Art Deco, a universe from which she is mainly inspired as well as the ancestral civilizations

The artist especially loves to transmit good emotions through her works and the titles are never a coincidence

For Valérie ARVALYS, the titles of her creations are also important and are loaded with messages and symbols.

Exploring, understanding, and transmitting have been the common thread of her artistic journey It is not just towards an artistic vision that Valérie ARVALYS wishes to lead us, but towards a real understanding of the world around us, a true positive and human philosophy

Valérie ARVALYS evolves with the times With a curious mind, she loves to innovate and share That is why she will always surprise us and amaze us with her singularity

She has received recognition from her peers on various occasions

Gillian signs her work under the name Northmore She enjoys bringing her paintings to life, whether they are of seascapes or animals In her portraits, Gillian's attention to detail is like a photograph: you can see even the artist's reflection in the iris of the person she has painted As you can see from her work, Gillian loves and plays with the reflection of her subjects, whether in the eyes or in the water

Gillian would like to have her first exhibition in the near future Note that she donates 50% of her sales to charity One last detail about the artist: one of her works was recently accepted in an American exhibition Let's bet that Gillian will be able to pursue her goals

Myname is Normand ALLAIRE. I lived in Montreal, Paris, Brussels, Phnom Penh and today I live in Brittany

Photography has always been my passion, my favorite vector of expression From film to digital, my work as a photographer has focused on a search for beauty, harmony, the balance of shapes, lines, colors, what macro photography, landscapes, architecture, inspire me spontaneously My image production remains classic, but I also like to test the metamorphosis of the image thanks to the mastery of digital processing tools For example, sublimating the image, transforming a landscape photograph into an art photograph, an abstract painting, a gallery work, an original and unique decorative object.

In another register, probably a legacy of my experience in documentary film, I seek to portray the fleeting moment that reveals the human condition By its force of expression, each character then becomes the illustration of its destiny, sometimes happy, often dramatic

I dream of making an exhibition in an art gallery In the meantime, I have just created my website:« www normandsky-photo com » You will be able to look up a selection of my images, some of which are offered for sale, in limited edition, in several formats, with a certificate of authenticity The photo print is made on High Definition paper under acrylic glass by a professional photo laboratory that uses the best printing technologies Guarantee of the highest quality requirement, among its customers around the world, on account more than 500 museums and art galleries

It is true that the school trains painters; Becoming an artistis another approach that can not be learned at school

I am attracted by any landscape that appeals to expressionism

This has influenced my paintings, which tackle the Moroccan landscape, traditions and historical monuments
