Our @NTR brand is growing by the minute led by our adventurous Creative Learning Team, freshly formed Adroit TC bring April de Angelis’s classic Playhouse Creatures, and from September theatrical Pop Ups take place every Tuesday lunchtime in The Phipps Café. And we still seek out the very best of the classics – from English Touring Opera to Omid Djalili, from Chinese State Circus to Creative Cow’s Travels with My Aunt and – who wouldn’t like an evening with Monty Don, or with Edana Minghella as she sings the blues. Catch our magical Santa Claus – The Musical this Christmas before in 2017 we bring onto our fabulous new stage, the BIG classics The Woman in Black and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Who would have thought 8 years ago let alone 41 years ago that these shows would have been possible?

CHINESE STATE CIRCUS - DYNASTY MAIN HOUSE
MONDAY 14 TUESDAY 15 NOVEMBER 7pm The Chinese State Circus is more than just a show. It aims to embody the rich tapestry of Chinese art, history and culture which can be dated back over 2000 years. Acrobatics is a common form of art within the Chinese culture, which is honed and perfected by the artists’ lifelong dedication. The Chinese State Circus itself spans 25 years, after Phillip Gandey first witnessed some Oriental acrobats performing at the Monte Carlo Circus Festival. Astounded at the quality and sheer diversity of the acrobatic troupes, he embarked on transporting the artistes, plus directors, interpreters and props half-way around the world – the rest, as they say, is history! It is 3 years since the Chinese State Circus last toured the UK.
