Most classes are designed for adult learners over the age of 16. Children as young as 12 are welcome when accompanied by an adult. In certain circumstances, younger children are admitted to a course (subject to administrative approval).
We do our very best to make sure all of our courses run for your enjoyment; however, sometimes we will cancel a class due to unexpected events or low enrollment. In this case, we make every effort to accommodate you in another class. If there is no other class which is satisfactory to you, you will receive a full refund.
Payment All fees are due at the time of registration with the exception of specified instructor manuals. Registration is confirmed when payment is processed. You will receive confirmation of registration by e-mail.

Making Sausage
Discover how to make authentic street tacos and the spicy salsas you crave as you explore the best of Mexican street food. Learn to dry roast and char ingredients to enhance flavor, and to create diverse salsas and hot sauces for every palate. Transform beef, chicken and fish into delicious authentic tacos. Wrap it all up with a tasty lesson on homemade tortillas and a scrumptious dessert.
Students are shown how to grind, season, and produce their own homemade sausage. This is a hands-on experience in all components of sausage making and prepares you to be able to make sausages at home with very basic equipment. From selecting fresh meat, grinding, stuffing the casings and cooking or smoking, you will learn everything you need to know to create your own delicious sausage. Himalayan singing bowls are part of the traditional Ayurvedic healing arts from Nepal, Tibet and Northern India and have been used in meditation to create deeper relaxation states. The soothing resonance may promote relief from anxiety, depression and anger. This course explores the theories, techniques and applications of the bowls. NOTE: All equipment will be provided in class. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat and your own bowl(s) if preferred.
Ayurveda is a healthy lifestyle system that people in India have used for more than 5,000 years. Ayurveda emphasizes good health and the prevention and treatment of illness through lifestyle practices such as self massage, meditation, yoga, and diet. Mental Health First Aid Certificate
Mental Illness in Children and Youth
Earn a certificate in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and be able to provide the help needed to a person developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.
