Hands-on Learning Extreme CALM/PE 10 This program provides activities that meet curriculum objectives for PE 10 and CALM and outdoor education CTS credits. Students stay at Strathcona Wilderness Centre (SWC) during the second week and participate in wilderness living skills, canoeing, orienteering, outdoor fitness activities and a variety of team building and leadership development activities. If you want to make short films and earn unique high school credits, this is the course for you. Explore the art and history of cinema with a focus on the roles and responsibilities on a film set. Experience the filmmaking process from the conception of the idea through to storyboarding, scripting, shooting and editing. EXTREME Babysitting Get your Red Cross Babysitter Certificate in this expanded version of the usual babysitting course. The first two days will cover the certificate program in the morning and games and crafts to use while babysitting in the afternoon.
