ที่พักผ่อนสุดคลาสสิค ที่นับเป็นสถานที่พักผ่อนตาก อากาศที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดในประเทศไทยมีอดีตยาวนานกว่า 100 ปี ตลอดเวลาที่ผ่านมายอมรับกันว่าเป็นเมืองตาก อากาศชายทะเลที่หรูหราและงดงามที่สุดแห่สยาม จน คนทั่วโลกพูดถึงและขนานนามว่า “ริเวียร่า” แห่งซีก โลกตะวันออก และได้รับความนิยมอย่างไม่เสื่อมคลาย ตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน นั่นก็คือ “หัวหิน” หัวหินเป็น สถานที่พักผ่อนที่เป็นที่ชื่นชอบ และเป็นจุดหมายยอด นิยมอันดับต้นๆ ส�ำหรับการท่องเที่ยวและพักผ่อนใน วันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์ของคนกรุงเทพฯ มาตัง้ แต่อดีตจนถึง ปัจจุบนั เพราะนอกจากจะมีแหล่งท่องเทีย่ วทีม่ ชี อื่ เสียง หลากหลายรูปแบบ มีที่พัก รีสอร์ทและโรงแรมชั้นน�ำ มากมาย มีภูมิประเทศที่งดงาม น�้ำทะเลใส หาดทราย ขาว รวมทั้งอากาศบริสุทธิ์ อาหารทะเลที่สดๆจาก ทะเล หัวหิน จึงเป็นที่รู้จักกันดีทั้งชาวไทย และชาวต่าง ชาติ ทีมบรรณาธิการได้คดั สรร สถานทีเ่ ด่นๆและความ งดงามของหัวหิน ที่รอให้คุณมาสัมผัส หวังว่าผู้อ่านทุก ท่านคงอิ่มเอมและชื่นชอบ กับ นิตยสาร Next Travel Magazine ฉบับนี้นะค่ะ

HUA HIN “Hua Hin” is a district in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province considered as the oldest recreation area in Thailand with the history of over 100 years. It has been popular without declination from the past until the present for all people from royal dynasties, rich people, wealthy people, epicure to ordinary and poor people both Thai and foreign. From the origin as only fishermen village, it has been extremely changed to the most classic recreation area nearby the sea with beautiful, unique, and fascinating beach. This makes Hua Hin is the top popular recreation area and target for relaxation on weekend of Bangkokian from the past until now. Besides, various patterns of famous tourist attractions, it also has many accommodations, resorts, and hotels, as well as convenient and comfortable transportation, Hua Hin is not far from Bangkok and can be made a round trip in only one day. In addition, it can be visited throughout the year. It is, therefore,

หัวหิน “หัวหิน” เป็นอ�ำเภอหนึ่งในจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ นับ เป็ น สถานที่ พั ก ผ่ อ นตากอากาศที่ เ ก่ า แก่ ที่ สุ ด ในประเทศไทยมี อ ดี ต ยาวนานกว่า 100 ปี ตลอดเวลาที่ผ่านมายอมรับกันว่าเป็นเมืองตาก อากาศชายทะเลที่หรูหราและงดงามที่สุดแห่งสยาม จนคนทั่วโลกพูด ถึงและขนานนามว่า “ริเวียร่า” แห่งซีกโลกตะวันออก และได้รับความ นิยมอย่างไม่เสื่อมคลายตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน ตั้งแต่บรรดาพระ ราชวงศ์ เศรษฐี คหบดีและผู้มีรสนิยมทั้งชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติ จาก แต่เดิมที่เป็นเพียงหมู่บ้านชาวประมง และได้ถูกเปลี่ยนแปลงจนกลาย มาเป็นสถานที่พักผ่อนติดทะเลสุดคลาสสิค ที่มีชายหาดที่สวยงามและ เอกลักษณ์ที่มีเสน่ห์ท�ำให้หัวหินกลายเป็นสถานที่พักผ่อนที่เป็นที่ชื่นชอบ และเป็นจุดหมายยอดนิยมอันดับต้นๆ ส�ำหรับการท่องเที่ยวและพักผ่อน ในวันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์ของคนกรุงเทพฯ มาตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน เพราะ นอกจากจะมีแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่มีชื่อเสียงหลากหลายรูปแบบ มีที่พัก รีสอร์ทและโรงแรมชั้นน�ำมากมาย การและคมนาคมสะดวกสบายแล้ว หัวหินยังอยู่ไม่ไกลจากกรุงเทพฯ สามารถเดินทางไป-กลับได้ในวันเดียว ทั้งยังสามารถท่องเที่ยวได้ตลอดทั้งปี อ�ำเภอหัวหินตั้งอยู่ริมฝั่งทะเลอ่าว ไทย ห่างจากตัวเมืองประจวบคีรีขันธ์ประมาณ 90 กิโลเมตร ตัวเทศบาล เมืองหัวหินมีพื้นที่ประมาณ 86.36 ตารางกิโลเมตร หรือ 53,975 ไร่ มี ถนนเพชรเกษม (ทางหลวงหมายเลข 4) ตัดผ่านจากทิศเหนือจดทิศใต้ รวมความยาวประมาณ 22 กิโลเมตรชุมชนหัวหินก่อตั้งขึ้นในราวปี พ.ศ. 2377 ในรัชสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระนั่งเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 3 เมื่อ ชาวบ้านกลุ่มหนึ่งจากทางตอนเหนือละทิ้งถิ่นฐานและเดินทางมาจนถึง พื้นที่ที่เป็นบริเวณใกล้กับเขาตะเกียบในปัจจุบัน แล้วได้ตั้งถิ่นฐานที่ บริเวณนี้ เพราะเห็นว่าเป็นหาดทรายที่สวยงามและแปลกกว่าที่อ่ืน คือมี กลุ่มหินกระจัดกระจายอยู่ทั่วไป อีกทั้งที่ดินก็มีความอุดมสมบูรณ์ เหมาะ

Mrigadayavan Palace “The Palace of Love and Hope” is on the coast of Cha-am Beach, Phetchaburi Province facing the sea. King Rama VI ordered Hat Chao Samran Palace to be demolished and built the Mrigadayavan Palace. The construction was finished in 1925. There was a diverse range of animals around the palace especially deer therefore, the king announced this palace would be an animal sanctuary named Mrigadayavan Palace which means the land of deer. 399 metres long, supported by 1,080 concrete pillars, there are 16 buildings Mrigadayavan Palace is made of golden teak in the in Thai-Victorian style, all connected by elevated airy walkways designed to catch the breezes from all directions. There are three connecting thrones. The three thrones are Samut Phiman Hall (the throne of King Rama VI including a big building with bedrooms, dressing rooms, work room, bathrooms, dining rooms, and the Queen Suwattana’s room), Phisan Sakon Hall (the ladies ’ quarter) and Samoson Sewakamat Hall (the theater and rendezvous). There are sea views from each of the throne rooms. Two very long corridors lead off from the main building to two beach pavilions, one for the King and one for the ladies. The King’s pavilion has a large cross on the top, used to signal the King’s activities by the use of coloured lanterns.

Mrigadayavan Palace is looked after by the Foundation of Mrigadayavan Palace under Her Royal Highness Princess Bejaratana. The palace was built with the aim to match the landscape and climate. The high ceilings of the building provide ample sunlight and sea breezes. The ceilings were made of reinforced concrete to be strong and wind resistant. After the end of King Rama VI era, the palace was deserted for about forty years. It took eleven years to renovate and restore the palace to its former glory. Opening Hours : Mrigadayavan Palace in Cha Am is open every day, except Wednesdays, from 08.30 until 17.00. Entrance to the palace costs 30 Baht for both Thais and foreigners. A guide book ( in both Thai and English ) is available at the entrance shop for 50 baht. Bicycles can be rented for 20 Baht next to the car park to explore the grounds outside the palace further. There is also a nature trail through a replanted mangrove swamp with wooden walkways, a bird spotting tower, a statue of Rama VI and another smaller teak house, the Chao Phraya Ramrakop residence.

พระราชนิเวศน์มฤคทายวัน พระราชนิเวศน์มฤคทายวัน พระราชฐานที่ประทับฤดูร้อนของ พระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฏเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว(รัชกาลที่ ๖) ซึ่งกรมศิลปากรขึ้น ทะเบียนเป็นโบราณสถานของชาติ โปรดเกล้าให้สร้างขึ้น ณ ต�ำบลห้วยทราย เหนือ อ�ำเภอชะอ�ำ จังหวัดเพชรบุรี ในปีพุทธศักราช ๒๔๖๖ โดยสถาปนิก ชาวอิตาเลียน และมีพระบรมราชโองการให้เจ้าพระยายมราช (ปั้น สุขุม) เสนาบดีกระทรวงมหาดไทยเป็นผู้อ�ำนวยการก่อสร้าง พระเจ้าอยู่หัวรัชกาล ที่ ๖ ได้พระราชทานนามพระราชวังฤดูร้อนแห่งนี้ว่า “มฤคทายวัน” ด้วยมี พระราชประสงค์จะรักษาความหมายของชื่อเดิมคือ “ห้วยทราย” เนื่องจาก ป่าบริเวณนี้ชุกชุมไปด้วย สัตว์ป่าประเภทเนื้อทราย กวาง หรืออีกชื่อหนึ่ง ว่า “มฤค” ทั้งยังเป็นนามสิริมงคลเป็นที่จดจ�ำง่าย เพราะตรงกับชื่อ “ป่า อิสิปตนมฤคทายวัน” ซึ่งพระพุทธเจ้าทรงแสดงปฐมเทศนาตามพุทธประวัติ และด้วยเหตุที่ทรงมีพระราชหฤทัยเมตตาต่อสัตว์ทั้งหลาย จึงมีพระบรม ราชโองการ ประกาศให้เขตพระราชนิเวศน์ฯ เป็นเขตอภัยทานห้ามมิให้ท�ำ อันตรายแก่สัตว์ พื้นที่พระราชนิเวศน์มฤคทายวันเป็นทรัพย์สินส่วนพระมหา กษัตริย์ซึ่งทางกองบัญชาการต�ำรวจตระเวนชายแดน ได้รับพระราชทาน พระบรมราชานุญาตให้ใช้เป็นพื้นที่ฝึกกองก�ำลังการสนับสนุนทางอากาศ ตั้งแต่ปีพุทธศักราช ๒๕๐๘ ต่อมาใช้เป็นที่ตั้งกองก�ำกับการ ๑ กองบังคับการ ฝึกพิเศษ กองบัญชาการต�ำรวจตระเวนชายแดน (ค่ายพระราม ๖) ใน

สถานีรถไฟหัวหิน Wooden Building of Victoria Style with floor of cream colour contrasted with red colour is the old structure station aged over 100 years, which was built in the King Rama 6 Era and opened to use in 1911. It is one of the most popular points of Hua Hin that tourists like to take pictures as souvenir. Picture of tourists standing as a group in front of the billboard “Hua Hin Railway Station” with a picture of ancient figure station as background is a tradition simultaneously occurred with the Hua Hin recreation area and is a “compulsory” activity, otherwise it will be accused that “Hua Hin is not reached yet.” Nearby place on the southern direction is Thai tetrahedron building whose origin was “Phlab Phla Sanam Chan” used as the throne for seeing the practice of scout force of the King Rama 6 at the Sanam Chan Palace, Nakhon Pathom Province. Later in 1968, it was moved to Hua Hin railway Station as the throne of the Present King with a new name as “Phlab Phla Phra Mongkut Klao.”

อาคารไม้สไตล์วิกตอเรีย พื้นสีครีมตัดด้วยสีแดง เป็น อาคารสถานีเก่าแก่อายุนับ 100 ปี สร้างขึ้นในสมัยรัชกาลที่6 และเปิด ใช้ในปีพุทธศักราช 2454 เป็นจุดที่นักท่องเที่ยวนิยมมาถ่ายภาพเป็นที่ ระลึกมากที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งของหัวหิน ภาพนักท่องเที่ยวจับกลุ่มกันยืนหน้าป้าย “สถานีรถไฟ หัวหิน” มีภาพสถานีรูปทรงโบราณเป็นพื้นหลังเป็นประเพณีที่เกิดขึ้น มาพร้อมๆกับการเกิดสถานตากอากาศหัวหิน และนี่คือกิจกรรมภาค “บังคับ” มิฉะนั้นจะถูกกล่าวหาว่า “มาไม่ถึงหัวหิน” ใกล้กันด้านทิศใต้ เป็นอาคารจัตุรมุขแบบไทยประยุกต์ เดิม คือ “พลับพลาสนามจันทร์” ใช้เป็นที่ประทับทอดพระเนตรการฝึกซ้อม กองเสือป่าของพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ที่พระราชวัง สนามจันทร์ จังหวัดนครปฐม ต่อมาในปีพุทธศักราช 2511 จึงได้ย้าย มาที่สถานีรถไฟหัวหิน เพื่อเป็นพลับพลาที่ประทับของพระบาทสมเด็จ พระเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลปัจจุบัน โดยตั้งชื่อใหม่ว่า “พลับพลาพระมงกุฎ เกล้าฯ”

วัดห้วยมงคล The sacred Lung Poo Thuad is the highly respected instructor-monk of Thai people. Takiab Mountain, a symbol on the southern direction of Hua Hin Beach with a Lofty Golden Buddha Image facing to the sea, is one of the beautiful viewpoints of the Hua Hin Beach. The 119-room InterContinental Resort opened its doors in December 2009, revealing a contemporary interpretation of classic Hua Hin style. Architecture by C Space drew inspiration from the Maruekhathaiyawan Palace with its expansive verandahs and intricate wooden latticework. Interior designer firm PIA echoed these motifs, while lighting design was developed by Lifestyle. Swimming pool and landscape designer Bert Collins created the resort’s centerpiece, a 55-square metre infinity-edge pool, complete with a fibre-optic system to create a twinkling starlight effect at night. Since its opening, the resort has attracted a number of illustrious guests and continues to evolve its experience of Hua Hin luxury.

“คงได้แค่ภาพพระอาทิตย์ ขึ้นจากทะเล” เป็นความคิด แรกทีผ่ ดุ ขึน้ มาในหัว จนกระทัง่ ผมได้มายืนอยู่บนหาดทรายที่ เขาตะเกียบ สายตาจับจ้องอยู่ ที่วิวไฟน์เดอร์ นิ้วลั่นชัตเตอร์ ไปเรื่อยๆ ในหัวก็คิดไปต่างๆ นาๆ แล้วก็พบว่า “ไม่ได้มีแค่ พระอาทิตย์ขึ้นจากทะเล” แต่ ในทุกๆภาพมี “ชีวติ ” อยูใ่ นนัน้

หัวหินเป็นบ้านของ ผม ผมเกิดและโตที่นี่ หลายๆ สิ่งหลายๆอย่างที่นี่เปลี่ยไปกว่า เมื่อก่อนมากมาย แต่สเน่ห์ของ หัวหินก็ยังไม่เสื่อมคลาย ทะเล หัวหินยังคงมีนกั ท่องเทีย่ วมาพัก ผ่อนอยูเ่ หมือนเคยและดูเหมือน จะเพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อยๆ ที่นี่ยังคงมีวิถี ชีวิตของชาวประมงพื้นบ้านให้ ได้สัมผัสและ บริเวณชายหาด จะมีพระเดินบิณฑบาต ซึ่มว่า มันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ที่มีสเน่ห์ของ ห้วหินมากๆครับ
