»BLEISURE« De nye generationer ønsker at blande forretnings- og fritidsrejser. Linjerne mellem arbejde og privatliv er i stigende grad sløret, og de såkaldte »bleisure-ture« (business og leisure sat sammen) er stigende og vil sandsynligvis fortsætte med at vokse i popularitet fremadrettet. Sammen med det voksende fokus på bleisure-rejser er der en stigende interesse for lokale oplevelser og kultur. Dagens rejsende sætter pris på en lokal oplevelse i stedet for at sidde i et mødelokale hele dagen. ence and accordingly be used at every step of the traveller’s journey. The experience should feel personal and create value from booking to check-out. To this should be added previous travel behaviour, which enables one to offer the traveller unique experiences. Personalisation will help give the business traveller a stress-free travel experience that perfectly matches his or her preferences. Travel buyers and providers alike should evaluate how personalisation can influence hotel booking procedures and guests in future. EASIER, MORE FLEXIBLE BOOKING Business travellers are beginning to demand flexibility; they want to choose their own flight departures and accommodation in line with their personal preferences. Mobile booking systems and accommoda-

tion options like Airbnb allow business travellers to plan their travel problem-free. This makes demands on corporate travel policies, as these must reflect travellers’ needs and their attitudes regarding easier, more flexible self-booking systems. HEALTH Travelling can cause stress and worry, which means companies must make the health and productivity of employees on the move a high priority. Today’s business travellers need greater flexibility and personalisation when travelling. Hotels rarely allow late checkouts, making it impossible for travellers to prepare for and arrive fresh for their next meeting. In such cases, the business traveller often has to leave the hotel late in the evening because the company failed to book an extra night. Accordingly, more hotels will
