The soul of our suburb A radio talkback show asked its listeners: "Does your suburb have a soul?" It got me thinking about Mawson Lakes. Although we're a young suburb, I truly believe Mawson Lakes has a soul. The strongest evidence is that people display a deep level of attachment and engagement. Everywhere I go they tell me how much they love living and working in Mawson Lakes. They talk about its beauty and tranquility and their sense of safety and wellbeing.

Mawson Lakes is exciting because it is so alive and you’ll see just a few examples as you read this issue. A group of engineers from Lockheed Martin have entered a Ford LTD in the 2016 Variety Bush Bash to raise funds for charity (see

Mawson Lakes ladies are busy working towards a fashion parade being presented by the View Club in association with Mawson Lakes Living (see page 5). Other ladies are gifting gorgeous handmade quilts to cancer patients (page 25). Even our dogs bring joy to others (page 28). A committee is organising the Christmas Concert. Parents are planning an upcoming Rubic Cubing Day (more about that later) and there are dance classes, judo lessons and school holiday programs in the Mawson Centre. Throw in intellectual energy at the university (see page 12), innovation at Technology Park, advanced learning at Endeavour College; and YES, I would describe Mawson Lakes as a suburb with SOUL - alive, organic and sentient.

There’s no doubt, a pretty suburb is a loveable suburb, but it's much more than aesthetics that gives a place a soul. It's our people and our passions. It’s you and me and our neighbours, as well as the abundant animal life that shares the space. It’s the sum of houses, cafes and all the other man-made features. It’s Sunday morning on the lake dotted with small model yachts juxtaposed with long rowing boats. It’s soccer on the oval and residents having breakfast on the sidewalk. It's neighbours smiling hello as they walk their dogs along the creek.

have your say...

By-law to protect pedestrians from bicycles Salisbury Council is considering a new by-law put forward by Councillor Brad Vermeer (from Mawson Lakes) that requires cyclists riding on footpaths across the City of Salisbury to do so at "walking pace". Walking pace is about 5 km/h. Mawson Lakes Living has reported several incidents of reckless conduct by cyclists, and while most cyclists proceed with care and courtesy, a few do not, particularly if they consider our peaceful pathways to be speed routes, and pedestrians, children and dogs to be annoying obstacles. This is causing anxiety to residents, and in at least three cases, injury, which has been reported in MLL. It has reached the point where residents do not feel safe on pathways and footpaths. A by-law will allow police to fine speeding cyclists. - JHM Breath easy At last the South Australian government has announced that from 1 July all public outdoor dining areas must be smoke free. This includes restaurants, pub courtyards, clubs, outdoor events and other places where food is served outdoors. Good news for diners in ML. - Doris Jorden Profitable enterprises Codan can afford a grand new business centre in Mawson Lakes (reported in MLL/March). This financial year they expect a net profit of $20 million, up 57 per cent from last year. We need more successful enterprises like this in the North. - Pro Slowinski Holidays for the wrong reason I was interested in Dan's community comment in MLL/May when he wrote that Easter is irrelevant to him. He said, "just give me chocolate and cute bunnies and I'll be happy." I believe a growing number of people feel this way. Holidays such as Easter, Christmas, and even Sundays, come from our past and are based on JudaeoChristian worship. They were proclaimed as "holy days" to reflect on and celebrate Christian beliefs. Nowadays, if the religious significance is irrelevant why should we still have a holiday? Get rid of them and stop the blasphemy. - Peter Hough

Poster Poles It was Mothers Day (Sun 8 May) when we headed out from Mawson Lakes for lunch and saw election posters of Tony Zappia plastered on the back and front of every street pole in our electorate of Makin. Yes, the election was called on Mother’s Day, but the writs were not issued until 16 May. That means, under South Australian Local Government Regulations, no election signs are permitted to go up until the writs are issued. It raises the question: can we trust politicians who break the law so obviously? And in the next electorate, posters of Kate Ellis illegally littered all the poles we passed. - Ryan Rees Sackings at Optus I admire the perpetually optimistic tone of MLL but not everything is rosy. In the May edition articles talked about developments in the North (Susan Close's column, Lady Tech and electronic learning) and the positive things that are happening, but ALL is not so positive. Last month Optus, which has its SA call centre in Technology Park, sacked 150 people. My daughter was one of them. She had worked at Optus for many years and she and her husband bought a house in Mawson Lakes to be close to work. Optus is moving many jobs overseas, but where will my daughter go? We are devastated. - Jan Elly, Shoalhaven Inter-Connections I don’t know where you find all your stories each month for Mawson Lakes Living. Last month there was an amazing variety of local business people, Federal and State Ministers, other would-be ministers, mothers, children, school principals and chefs, lawyers, and more, and somehow they all connected to Mawson Lakes in some clever way. I’m in awe. - David Emeka

Pigeon problem The residents of Darby Lane have a pigeon problem that is seriously affecting our life and health and safety. We have hundreds of pigeons flying past our homes every day leaving droppings on our roof, balcony, driveway, and elsewhere. In addition, they land on our roof, making noises and waking up some sleeping residents. We have contacted SA Health who directed us to the Council - Gujie Qian Council response - How to manage pigeons The responsibility for pigeon control lies with the property owner(s) and Council does not undertake any form of control on private property. Many of the properties developed in Mawson Lakes have provided ideal roosting and stopping grounds for pigeons and as a result it is the responsibility of these property owners to take action to prevent this from occurring. Some of the ideal areas include solar water units, solar panels and open car parking structures with exposed beams and crevices. We would recommend that the property owners and or corporation/strata groups start by assessing their own premises to identify any harbourage points and eliminate these. If they identify the source of the pigeons are from other premises then we can engage with them to undertake controls also. Property owners who harbour pigeons and do not take adequate measures to control them could be issued with an order under the Local Government Act for nuisances caused by animals/ birds from their property. It is recommended that residents seek the services of a professional pest controller that has experience in pigeon control and they can advise on the best course of action which could include, baiting, trapping and eliminating roosting spots by blocking areas and installing bird spikes. - John Darzanos, Manager Environmental Health and Safety, City of Salisbury

Everyone in Mawson Lakes who wants to know what’s going on reads Mawson Lakes Living. I can’t wait to get my copy in the letterbox, it's a highlight of each month. I read every page, including all the ads. Where else do you read all the ads!! - Julie Wasley Health risk from poo Bird poo is a health risk to you, your children and your dogs. Birds are a perfect mechanism for spreading disease because they travel great distances, harbor parasites and can host over sixty known infectious diseases. Do not feed the birds, it encourages them to come back and poo everywhere. Food lying around also attracts rats, cockroaches and foxes.

Mawson Lakes engineers enter Variety Bash Three Engineers from Technology Park in Mawson Lakes have formed a team to participate in this year’s Variety Bash, a cross-country road trip to raise funds for sick and disadvantaged children.

Entry rules state that a car must be at least 30 years old and that the team must raise a minimum of $9000 of donations/sponsorships to enter.

The cars will leave Port Lincoln on 6 August and arrive at the finish in Clare on 13 August. Trent Ryan, who works at Lockheed Martin, said the Variety Bash is not a race or a rally but a madcap eight-day cross-country drive to raise funds for charity. Allen, Mick Jones and The Ford LTD entered in the 2016 Variety Bash with team members Mark Trent Ryan who work at Lockheed Martin in Mawson Lakes.

Trent explained that the friends are enacting a New Year’s resolution to "give something back" this year. "We have set our eyes set on a target that will make a difference to the lives of children." The team bought a 1979 Ford LTD (a luxury car of the day) which has been reconditioned, and entered in the event as Bash Car #LTD. Look out for it around Mawson Lakes.

MLL is happy to support this endeavour and you can also donate by phoning Variety on (08) 8293 8744 quoting "Bash Car #LTD" to the operator. Or via the web at www.variety.org.au/SA/Donate/, placing "Bash Car #LTD" in the comments field of the web donation form. SPONSORED BY

Home Loan Help with Joe Vancura Consolidate your debts to reduce stress Consolidating multiple debts into a current mortgage could be a worthwhile exercise to get out of the multiple loan repayment maze. It is not uncommon for one household to have multiple loans by way of mortgages, car loans, personal loans and credit cards. The repayments on these loans and credit cards fall due at various times of the month and in differing amounts. Bearing in mind that interest rates on car loans, personal loans and credit cards are usually much higher than those of a home loan, it may seem sensible to consolidate all debts. Consolidation also means not having to negotiate the multiple repayments every month. The advantages of consolidation are: 1. being able to pay off highinterest debts at the lower mortgage rate; 2. having one monthly repayment; and 3. the availability of additional disposable income.

We will compare hundreds of home loan products from over 30 leading bank and non bank lenders and structure a loan that’s right for you.

However, consolidating debts is not as cut and dry as it sounds. It is important to bear in mind that: 4. it will increase the home loan debt and monthly repayments; and 5. other debts are being paid off over a longer period of time than originally intended. Nevertheless, all is not lost. There is a smart money way to counteract this. By paying a portion of the additional disposable income into the mortgage, you can reduce the term of the loan and in turn this reduces the interest paid over the life of the loan. If you are unsure if debt consolidation will suit your personal situation, it may be wise to consult a professional to help you decide.

Renewable energy is the future When the Australian Greens announced their "Renew Australia Plan" last month they chose Tindo Solar in Mawson Lakes as a model company of the future. Surrounded by TV cameras, Senator Richard Di Natale said the Greens plan for South Australia would be powered by 100 per cent renewable energy with an investment of $15 billion. "Companies like Tindo Solar will help us transition from an old economy to a new," he said. Tindo managing director and founder Adrian Ferraretto said that regressive policies have held energy companies back in the past. "Our future prosperity depends on high-tech, low pollution, jobs-rich renewable energy."

Adrian Ferraretto from Tindo Solar (front) at a press conference in Mawson Lakes on renewable energy with Senators Sarah Hanson-Young, Richard Di Natale and Robert Simms.

"If Australia wants to be an energy superpower there are changes we need to make such as diversifying our electricity supplies, investing in

solar, wave and geothermal sources, developing battery technology and changing to electric cars." Ed

Meet Hannah Manuel, one of our team of lawyers and our registered Migration Agent with experience in migration / visa matters.

I’m married to an American citizen who wants to live in Australia permanently. What are our options?

A

Consider applying for a Partner Visa. This is a two stage application over two years. You will need to apply for a Subclass 820 (Temporary Visa) and also a Subclass 801 (Permanent Visa). If you are legally married you will satisfy the first hurdle of the application, but you can also apply if you are in a de facto relationship. You will be required to sponsor your partner and any other dependent family members who are to be included in the application. Your partner will need to satisfy the character and health requirement which will require a full health examination and police clearance, both inside and in the United States.

At the second stage of the application you will need to provide evidence that you are still in a relationship with your partner. There are four categories which will need to be satisfied, including the financial aspects of the relationship, the nature of the household, the social context of the relationship and the nature of your commitment to each other. The second stage of making an application can be the most complicated, as in some cases, if all of the required evidence has not been obtained or provided at the time of application it may result in your visa being refused. It is important

to obtain proper advice prior to making an application. If you have a partner who would like to live in Australia, contact our registered migration agent and solicitor Hannah Manuel for advice. (Migration Agent Authority Number: MARN 1678779.)

Science Report with Necia Stanford Putting computers in your eyes Have you ever wondered how a mirror works? A thin metal coating on the back of a sheet of glass reflects back your image. This is a simple example of thin-film coatings, one of the cutting edge research activities of the new Future Industries Institute at the Mawson Lakes UniSA campus. Thin-film coatings are used in items all around us such as scratch-resistant glasses, anti-glare monitors, solar panels, flat screen TVs, and smart phones. Researchers at UniSA are pioneers in the field, having developed the world’s first fully plastic car mirrors just a few years ago. Associate Professor Drew Evans (pictured) is leading the research on a coating that can conduct electricity on a contact lens that is safe to put into your eye.

"These lenses have the potential for a range of personalised health monitoring applications that could make life simpler for people struggling with chronic health problems," he said. "Using this technology, diabetics could receive an alert when their blood sugar level is low, and athletes could have real time feedback about their performance." But creating health sensors is not all. According to Evans, the sky’s the limit. "We’re talking about creating electronic displays so you can actually generate images directly on your contact lens." Imagine having a computer screen right inside your eye! It’s a long way from shatter-proof car mirrors to smart contact lenses, but researchers at UniSA are making an impact in the world, right here from Mawson Lakes.

Knowledge comes from taking things apart, but wisdom comes by putting things together. 12

Modern dental implants have been placed since the early 70s, though believe it or not, dental implantlike treatments have been discovered in skulls dating back toDr 700 A.D. Peter Bertossa BDS Dr Peter Bertossa BDS

Dental implant treatment consists of the placement of an implant, followed by the attachment of a tooth on top of the implant.

The implant is basically a large parallel or slightly tapered screw, usually made of titanium.

The surgery to place an implant consists of creating a ‘pilot hole’ in the jaw bone followed by screwing the implant into place. The implant is then turned in by an electric handpiece and tightened with a small torque wrench. This is done under sterile surgical conditions and can be done with local anaesthetic, or with I.V. sedation.

Property Tips with Ben The rule of 72 You may have heard the popular saying among home owners and property investors that property prices double every 7 - 10 years. You may see statistics in the press about property prices increasing by a certain percent value in a year, but how does this stack up and how can you work out the impact on your property value? And how can you use data to determine growth? Property price is determined by how much a person is willing to pay for a property. Property prices are going up as a result of our increasing population, our rising incomes and the concept that people are willing to pay a premium to live in a desirable area. There is an easy formula to determine how long it will take for property prices to double if given a constant growth rate. If you divide 72 by the annual growth rate the result will be the number of years it will take for property prices to double. For example, if growth was 8% you would divide 72 by 8 giving a result of 9 years. When using this method, care should be taken because past results do not guarantee future gains. Consideration should also be given to the way property growth occurs. It is usual for annual growth to remain constant; rather it surges then softens so no individual year is a true long term representation. To discuss further contact Ben on 0403 195 339

Very Clever Credit Card Scam Scams are everywhere but just when you thought you'd heard it all, along comes a very clever scam to rob you. The following is a recounting of the incident from a victim of the "courier scam". Wednesday a week ago, I had a phone call from someone saying that he was from some outfit called: "Express Courier" (The name could be any courier company.) He asked if I was going to be home because there was a package for me that required a signature. The caller said that the delivery would arrive at my home in roughly an hour. Sure enough, about an hour later, a uniformed delivery man turned up with a beautiful basket of flowers and a bottle of wine. I was very surprised since there was no special occasion or holiday. I inquired as to who were the senders. The courier replied, "I don't know, I'm only delivering the package." He said a card was being sent separately... (the card has never arrived!) There was a consignment note with the gift which said the gift contained alcohol, so there was a $3 "delivery/ verification charge," providing proof that he had actually delivered the package to an adult (of legal drinking age). This sounded logical and I offered to pay him cash. He then said that the delivery company required payment by credit or debit card only, so that everything is properly accounted for, and this would help in keeping a legal record of the transaction. He added couriers don't carry cash to avoid loss or likely targets for robbery. My husband, who by this time was standing beside me, pulled out his credit card, and the "delivery man," asked him to swipe the card on a small mobile card machine with a small screen and keypad. My husband was asked to enter his PIN number and a receipt was printed out. He was given a copy of the transaction. The guy said everything was in order, and wished us good day.

20

Mawson Lakes Living : Issue 108 - June 2016

To our horrible surprise, within the next few days $4,000 was withdrawn from our credit account at various ATM machines. Apparently the "mobile credit card machine," which the deliveryman carried now had all the info necessary to create a "dummy" card with all our card details including the PIN number. Upon finding out about the illegal transactions on our card, we immediately notified the bank which issued us a new card, and our credit/debit account was closed. We also personally went to the Police, where it was confirmed that it is definitely a scam because several households had been similarly hit. WARNING: Be wary of accepting any "surprise gift or package," which you neither expected nor personally ordered, especially if it involves any kind of payment as a condition of receiving the gift or package. Also, never accept anything if there is no proper identification of the sender. Above all, the only time you should give out any personal credit/debit card information is when you yourself initiated the purchase or transaction!

Caring For Your Feet with Mardi Edwards Cracked Feet Dry cracked feet particularly around the heels is a common problem. There are several reasons this may occur. Firstly, dry skin can be worsened by the environment. Cracked heels are more of a problem in summer. In summer the environment is warmer and dryer as are our walking surfaces, which may dry out the skin. In addition to this, in the warmer weather we often wear open footwear like thongs and sandals which exposes our feet to the environment.

To treat the dry cracked heels we can painlessly remove dry skin, regularly apply moisturizing creams and wear footwear which is more enclosed. Another reason for cracked feet is due to conditions such as Tinea or Psoriasis. These conditions require accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Regardless of the cause, heel cracks need to be prevented and treated as they can become painful and even infected.

Regular self care, including soaking feet, filing off hard skin and moisturizer application can help keep feet healthy and comfortable. If this is not enough, then come and visit us at Mawson Lakes Podiatry Clinic for hard skin removal and advice on footwear and creams that can keep your feet smooth and comfortable.

Parenting - Armour against bullying As children grow up, bullying is everywhere. It aims to intimidate and rob a child of confidence to give the bully power over the victim. It can instil fear about going to school, lead to fightback and develop into gang wars. Things can get so bad that kids want to hide or even kill themselves to escape the torment. Trying to fight bullying or hide from it rarely solves the problem. The armour that protects a young person from bullying must come from within. This armour is invisible, but strong, and it will help a child survive at school and beyond. Here are a few tips to help parents:

1

START EARLY Don’t expect everybody to be nice. Don’t expect everyone to like you. Mean-spirited and rude behaviour exits. Identify it with your child and give it a name. Talk about bullies, how they work, what they are trying to achieve.

2 3

BRAINSTORM the kinds of things kids might say and do in response so they are ready in advance. Have calm sentences ready, such as "no big deal". Practice the delivery of a withering look. TEACH your child how to walk away and believe the bully has the problem. The bully may come from a household that always acts towards each other in a power

struggle. See if you can come up with an explanation for the bully’s behaviour.

4 5 6 7 8 9

AVOID bullies. If a kid gets set against your child request a change of classes, teachers, sports, whatever. Maybe even find a new school and start afresh. GIGGLE or make a joke of bullying if you can, rather than appearing distressed as this gives the bully a sense of achievement. PRETEND you didn’t hear. Walk away. No one can insult you unless you let them. ALLOW kids to talk through their feelings with you, rather than saying "get over it". If they feel threatened at school who should they talk to. DOCUMENT everything if bullying persists with dates, times, places and details. Keep emails and messages. BUILD CONFIDENCE The greatest weapon against bullying is self-confidence. Show your child you appreciate all the small things they do and enrol them in things they are good at to build self worth.

A Gift of Love The Mawson Lakes Tuesday Quilters have given a collection of hand-stitched quilts to the oncology unit at Royal Adelaide Hospital to warm the hearts of people undergoing invasive treatment for cancer. Receiving the quilts on behalf of the hospital, Nurse Debra said this was a gift with great spiritual significance. "Often people come into hospital with just the basic essentials, and a hospital room can be cold and bare, but a beautiful quilt is a joy to receive. It speaks of love and of community concern for others." "It can be difficult to have a conversation with a patient undergoing treatment but a gorgeous quilt full of colour and detail becomes a talking point for everyone who enters the room." Eleven quilts were donated by the quilting group who meet on a Tuesday in different homes in Mawson Lakes.

Fine Food beyond Mawson Lakes

by Cathy Frew

Hidden Italian Gem We came across Osteria Oggi, in Adelaide which was opened in 2015, while we were trying to find a nice place for lunch on a Saturday in the city. Located in Pirie Street, many of the adjoining cafĂŠs were closed as they tend to cater for the business precinct Monday to Friday. At first glance, the place looks like it is a wine bar with a take away menu, going by the sign with three dishes suggested. We then saw the sign to the dining area which is at the back of the restaurant. We loved the way the dining area was set out resembling an Italian kitchen with long tables and vines hanging out of the lighting.

Then to our pasta selection which was difficult in that the dishes are not the typical style you would find in an Italian restaurant but were creative with very interesting ingredients. The pasta we shared was Campanelle featuring smoked eel, chilli, peas and lemon and sprinkled with dried eel. All pasta is made on site and it showed.

The menu was outstanding. We really struggled to choose so decided to share some tasting plates followed by pasta. We shared, anchovy soldiers with tomato, capers, basil, house smoked snapper crostini with spring onion, salsa verde, green chilli, Beef Carpaccio, with fresh herbs, and aioli garnished with shaved parmesan, and finally veal tongue, anchovy, tuna, mayonnaise and fried capers. Small plates ranging from $8 - $23.

Wine list is extensive and features wines sourced locally, nationally and internationally. We chose a lovely Nebbiolo Rose from the Yarra Valley which went very well with all our meals. The flavours of the dishes were wonderful and lingered on our palate for some time after we had left. Staff were attentive, informative and helpful in assisting with the right wine to go with the meals.

Local Restaurant Review Mr Bulgogi As we travel about we like to explore new cuisines, as both a customer and a chef. Bulgogi is a Korean term which literally means "Fire Meat" and I think all of us as Australians by our nature love our BBQ meats.

So Mr Bulgogi is a place for some Korean BBQ delicacies. It’s a good idea to book your table in advance as this is a popular den in Mawson Lakes.

The menu is compact, simply designed and straight forward, with nice little one liners. I ordered Pork Dumplings and Gangjeong Chicken (region in South Korea, famous for its naval base and cooking style). Chicken was a perfect match of crispiness and juiciness and was served with traditional rice cakes and blasting flavors of sweet spicy sauce. Other specialties like Beef Bulgogi and Sea Food Hotpot are a must try if you are dining and confused about what to order!!! For the second round we ordered Spicy Chicken Stirfry which came out on a sizzler, served with a bowl of rice. If we go Korean cuisine we always taste their Kimchi (Korean style pickled cabbage) as a way to scale a restaurant. Be assured you won’t be disappointed. Chef Jeffery Kim takes special care to prepare his Korean treats and he showcases them very profoundly. Therapy Dogs by Nigella My friend Meeka from Mawson Lakes is a member of the SA Therapeutic Dog Services team which means she goes into nursing homes with her owner Troy once a week to bring a smile to the faces of residents. When Meeka puts on her little red bandanna she knows she has a chat’n'pat job to do for an hour each week as a "community visiting dog". Her dad Troy always goes with her and together they bring comfort and joy. Troy reckons it's one of the best things they have ever done. Troy and Meeka came to visit us at MLL with the founder of Therapeutic Dog Services (TDS), Jodi Morrish, to tell us about the many ways that therapy dogs assist humans. Some dogs with training go into hospitals, mental health and disability facilities, lockdown wards and prisons. These can be stressful, noisy environments so these dogs are specially trained and they and their professional handlers work 6 days a week providing "animal assisted interventions".

Jody Morrish, founder of Therapeutic Dog Services, with therapy dog Meeka

This is challenging work that suits certain personalities, but you have to pass lots of tests and have the right temperament to get the job. If you think you might make a good therapy dog, or if your owner would like to help TDS at socialising dogs, administration, events, fundraising or fostering contact TDS on 7226 0994 or send an email to theraputicdogs@tdsinc.com.au Look up Meeka Moo on facebook.

Hazel finds a loving home. In MLL/April I told the story of the sudden death of Midori the Beagle. As a follow-up, Rachael and Jake have adopted a lovely 3-year-old Pomeranian cross called Hazel from the Animal Welfare League. Rachael wrote to us: "Hazel is such a good girl and a fast learner. She has learnt to sit and is doing very well with her toilet training. She is just what we need to help us through our healing process. The love she shows us is just beautiful." - Nigella xx

DON'T AVOID THE JAB! In the last month I have seen a 9-month-old unvaccinated dog die from Parvo and four baby kittens die from Cat Flu. This highlights the importance of vaccination not just to prevent pain, suffering and death in our own pets, but also to protect the vunerable pets in our community that are either too young to be vaccinated or have underlying medical problems that prevent vaccination. Vaccines are categorised as core or noncore. Core vaccines are essential and are necessary to prevent deadly diseases. Non-core vaccines are optional and are given depending on an individual animal’s risk factors. For dogs, the core vaccines cover Distemper, Hepatitis and Parvo. The most common noncore vaccines are Kennel Cough and Tetanus. Kennel Cough is recommended for dogs that socialize or mix with other dogs alot. This can be at groomers, training or at dog parks etc. Tetanus is recommended for dogs that go up to farms, work sites or anywhere that they may cut themselves. For cats the core vaccines cover Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu. The most common noncore vaccine is Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV is recommended for cats that go outside and may be involved in cat fights. Please phone us to make an appointment to discuss your individual pet’s needs and vaccination protocol. At Northfield Pet Clinic we all have the same goal - a happy, healthy life for the pets in our care. We treat the animals that visit us as if they are our own- with love, compassion and care.
