In this course we asses the student on (K)owledge, (I)nsights, (A)pplication, (A)nalysis (S)ynthesis en (E)valuation. The student must show he/she is able to perform the assigned work on the third (the highest) competency level. Meaning, he/she: • Has advanced knowledge of an area of work or study that implies critical insights into theories and principles. • Is able to tackle complex and unstructured problems. • Is able to improve methods and adapt standards to the situation. • Is able to design strategies that are integrated with professional practice. • Can work in an unfamiliar, more complex and (partially) unspecified context. • Can work independently in complex situations.

Competencies: 1-4 (Build-Measure-Learn); 5-9 (Work lean) Objectives: The student has evidence that his/her products and services, pain relievers, and gain creators, are actually creating customer value and getting traction in the market. • The student initiates and creates an innovative product, service or business model for a bigger or smaller (international) market. • The student performs, interpret, assesses and evaluates market research. • The student performs market analysis and competitive analysis. • The student develops a growth policy for his/her startup. • The student prepares and implements plans relating to the growth policy. • The student develops business relations with customers and co-partners in the startup eco-system. • The student communicates in Dutch and English. • The student engages in on- and offline market communication. • The student manages his/her startup. The student shows in a 30 minute oral assessment, convincing evidence he/she is working systematically en methodologically to create a problem solution fit. Midterm Assesment
