Grab a flip-over sheet.
Rank your value proposition idea and customer segment against the strands of expectations.

Each team member writes down the value proposition and the customer segment the startup is aiming at, as detailed as possible.
Each team member pitches his/her value proposition statement and customer segment.
Team members can ask questions after the pitch.
Team members together define the value proposition and customer segment. Be as specific as possible. But remember, it is the first prototype, that will change many times over before you have finishes the course line Startup.

• Column 1: Rising Quality; 1a Transparency, 1b Creative Destruction, 1c Easy Experimentation.
• Column 2: Positive Impact, 2a Guilt Free Consumption, 2b Clean Slate Brand.
• Column 3: Personal Expression, 3a Abundance and self-actualization, 3b Status Diversification, 3c Experience Cramming, 3d Connection and Community.

Each individual team member rates the customer segment against the different expectations strands on a scale from 1-10.
Discuss as a team, the outcome of the rating. Discuss what strands could be improved by changing the value proposition idea, and/or customer segment.
