Are we finally starting to get back to normal? Are the vaccines really working? Is this Corona Virus done kicking the crap out of America (and the world for that matter)? May is a big month starting with the Kentucky Derby on 5/1. It’s also the start of the NHL Playoffs and our Tampa Bay Lightning will try and win back-to-back Stanley Cups! The Rays are in full swing and they have a full month of games as they hope for a return to the World Series. The NightMoves Golf Classic (raising funds for St. Joseph’s Children Hospital) will take place on May 15 at Lansbrook Golf Club (see ad on page 17). We are always looking for sponsors, caddies and teams!! The long awaited Grand Opening of Dusk 2 Dawn will happen May 7 & 8 … The beautiful Shay Lynn will be at Desire Gentlemen’s Club May 21-22

GENTLEMEN’S CLUB EXPO 2021 The staff here at NightMoves is super excited to be attending the Exotic Dancer Expo 2021 that will take place in Miami May 23-26. The festivities will happen at the InterContinental Hotel on the bay in downtown Miami, 100 Chopin Plaza, Miami, FL 33131.
The EXPO was previously held in Miami once, in 1994. South Florida is the perfect location for the Gentlemen’s Club EXPO, and May is a perfect time to host this event in the Sunshine State. ED Publications has also recently announced that for every paid registration, attendees can get a second EXPO
registration for half-price! In an effort to provide a safe atmosphere for attendees, all official EXPO 2021 events will be held on-property at the host hotel. This includes the Opening Night “Sunset” Party that will take place on the “Sky Lawn” from 7pm-10pm and the $10,000 Bikini Contest that will take place Wednesday afternoon 5/26 at the same location. TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING
The regular season is coming to the end for the Tampa Bay Lightning and the month of April was not exactly smooth sailing. At press time the Bolts find themselves in third place in the Central Division looking up at the Carolina Hurricanes and the Florida Panthers. They’re still going to make the playoffs but the team is not playing at the same level they were a month ago. Steven Stamkos, captain of the Tampa Bay Lightning, was placed on long-term injured reserve (LTIR) retroactive to April 9. What does this mean? It means he’ll be unavailable until May 5 at the earliest. This came on the heels of reports that Nikita Kucherov is getting closer to returning, getting everyone in Bolts Nation pretty excited, and rightfully so. Kucherov has been dazzling teammates in practice for about a month now, which has only added to the anticipation of seeing him suit up in a blue and white sweater. However, the Lightning still have a salary cap crunch situation because Kucherov’s cap hit is about $1 million more than Stamkos’s. Rushing Kucherov back is also something the Lightning aren’t likely to do under any circumstance. He had hip surgery. The hip is arguably the most important body part of an elite hockey player. For a full recovery from this surgery, a minimum of five to six months is necessary. On May 30, Kuch will hit the five-month mark. The end of the season is scheduled for May 16, without any COVID postponements and whatnot. The playoffs are set to begin a week after that, so Kucherov will probably miss at least a portion of the first round of the playoffs. As the NHL comes down the stretch run, with make-up games crammed into the already congested schedule, practice time for the Lightning will be scarce. The bolts need to get back that “Stanley Cup Swag” and start playing like we know they can. The defense needs to give Vasy a little help. He is a fantastic goaltender but he can’t do it by himself. The Bolts have four games left in April and six games in May.

The first month of the season has been like a roller coaster! Lose, win, lose, lose, lose, win, win, win … you get the picture! I am still not convinced the starting rotation is strong enough to win the American League East Division. Tyler Glasnow has been amazing and is easily the ace of Want to see More sports the staff. After him it gets iffy … Can Rich Hill go editorials from Paul Allen? six innings? Is Ryan Yarbrough anywhere near the visit Paul Allen Sports on pitcher he was last season? Is Michael Wacha really Facebook our second best pitcher? Can Josh Fleming be the answer? Is Chris Archer finished? All of this PLUS
the bullpen is shaky at best. I don’t have complete confidence in Diego Castillo as the closer. At the plate a few players have gotten off to solid starts including Joey Wendle who is hitting .365 with 3 HRs and 15 RBIs … Austin Meadows with a .246, 4 HRs and 7 RBI stat line and … Randy Arozarena with a .279, 2 HR’s, 7 RBIs start. That is not enough as we need Brandon Lowe, Willy Adames and Manuel Margot to step it up. I know it’s early but the Boston Red Sox have gotten off to a great start, the Toronto Blue Jays are for real and the Yankees won’t suck all season long. We need to be more consistent, not blow leads and get that runner home when he is in scoring position. My pet peeve is having a runner on third base with less than two outs and we leave him on base???? No fly ball, no sacrifice bunt, nothing but strike outs and pop ups! I’m a huge Rays fan and I will be here all summer long no matter if we win or lose but I got spoiled last season and want a return trip to the World Series!!

Well the band is back together! Every starter from last year’s Super Bowl team is resigned and ready to defend the title. I honestly think the 2021 version of the Buccaneers is better than the team that won it all last February! Another year of playing with the G.O.A.T. Tom Brady … another year of Brady learning Bruce Arian’s system … another year of our young players learning the team and the league … Better familiarity for all teammates … and the feeling of knowing you’re the best team! By the time you read this the NFL draft took place and hopefully the team will add a few solid players. We may have all our starters returning but injuries are always a part of the NFL. The Bucs may also re-sign Antonio Brown by the time this is printed. I really could care less if AB returns. He’s a good receiver but we are plenty deep. I always wonder what shenanigans he will pull and just hope he doesn’t do anything to warp that “warm and fuzzy” feeling the locker room has. The full NFL schedule will be released on May 12 but we know who the Bucs play … just not when. All teams will play a 17-game season for the first time. The season has a few great Buc matchups including home games against: Atlanta, Carolina, New Orleans, Dallas, NY Giants, Buffalo, Miami and Chicago and away games against: Atlanta, Carolina, New Orleans, Washington, Indianapolis, LA Rams, NY Jets, Philadelphia and TB12’s homecoming game in New England.

Around Town LAP DANCE OF LUXURY POKER RUN AT SILKS ADULT ENTERTAINMENT The weather was perfect and the motorcycles started getting to Silks Adult Entertainment around 3:30 in the afternoon. The club was ready with pizza, an outside (and inside) DJ set up, cold drinks, full bar and beautiful staff. The Lap Dance of Luxury Poker Run has been going on for numerous years this year it started and ended at Silks. ROB’S FAREWELL PARTY AT DEJAVU SHOWGIRLS The mood in Dejavu Showgirls was that of sadness because this day marked the farewell to a great manager and all around nice guy Rob.
