TAMPA BAY “ELITE DANCER” CONTEST

July 14, 2024 will be the date for the first ever Tampa Bay “Elite Dancer” Contest. This will be a contest open to ladies that work in adult clubs located in Pasco, Pinellas & Hillsborough Counties. The Title Sponsor is Todd Couples Superstore. All contestants must be amateur entertainers who have never performed as a feature act. We are searching for 10-15 ladies who will compete for $2,000 in prize money ($1,000 1st place … $500 2nd place … $300 3rd place and … $200 4th place).

The winner will receive a full-page article in NightMoves in our August edition, The title of “Tampa Bay Entertainer of the Year”, a framed certificate, four tickets to the NightMoves Awards on October 13th, a huge gift

basket compliments of Todd Couples Superstore and be represented by Continental Agency for possible “Feature Act” bookings.

“We want to reward the local ladies who support NightMoves and our industry in Tampa Bay. This is a chance for ladies to possibly get national bookings and represent their local club. Let’s celebrate the amazing talent right here in our area,” said publisher Paul Allen.

The event will take place at TNA Gentlemen’s Club, 10570 Gandy Blvd, St. Pete FL. Each contestant will have 8-10 minutes to perform. The contest will have professional judges who will use the same categories & criteria we use in the NightMoves Invitational Contest. There will also be special, additional prizes and

awards given out along with the cash payouts.

The cover charge for the event will be $20 and all people paying cover will be eligible for multiple door prize drawings throughout the evening.

We are looking for area clubs to enter ladies who will represent their club in this competition. The cost is $300 to enter the contest. Host clubs will be listed as a contest sponsor in all advertising (flyers, banners, posters, Facebook posts & online articles). The club will also receive a private table at the event, 4 tickets to the event, 4 door prize tickets and a bottle the night of the event. Any entertainer can independently sponsor herself by calling NightMoves at 813814-1505.

This will be a great contest that highlights the amazing talent we have here in Tampa Bay!

It’s almost hard to believe that one third of 2024 is gone. Here we are in May and time is flying bye! Have you noticed that’s it’s easier to drive our streets now that the “snow-birds” have returned to the north? That’s great but we all sure do miss their money!

We had an exciting month in April and have another exciting month for May as we have a few touring acts coming to town but damn … they are all on the same Memorial Day weekend! Katie Morgan will be at Bare Assets May 24 & 25 … Katana Kombat will be at Tampa Gold Club those same dates … and Déjà vu Showgirls will have the True Widows duo act as well. You know that NightMoves will be at all three clubs taking photos and doing interviews!

TRIBUTE TO A FELLOW PHOTOGRAPHER

BOB FERGUSON

Bob Ferguson was Mr. Cherry Magazine. My first recollection of Bob, back in the 1990s was at a pageant. All the contestants wee lined up on stage for the group photo. Bob then gave all the girls a Cherry t-shirt to wear. After taking the photo he said to the ladies, “Everyone get naked” which they all did. Bob fired away and away then turning his back to the stage gave a thumbs up with a big smile on his face. He got his money shot!

In the age of the girlie magazinesCherry was one of many - Club, Swank, Gent, Busty Beauties, Hustler and of course Penthouse and Playboy - the photographers were paid on “spec”. Only if and when their photos were published did they get paid. Those magazine were all about nudity so it was essential that the photographers get their nude photos.

Bob was passionate abut photography. He always owned the latest model top of the line Nikon with the most expensive professional lenses. He had the big flash and the battery pack. At his home studio he had the giant strobe lights, power pack, light boxes, umbrellas, rectors, hair light, snoots, barn doors, and all the other other essentials of a true pro It was the era of 35mm film so every image counted. Bob would spend hours with his light meter to make sure everything was perfect.

While many of the girlie photographers chased the porn stars, Bob concentrated on the show girls and often the big busted ones. He was loved by the ladies because he never failed to make them look beautiful.

Bob had a silver ponytail and neatly trimmed beard that never changed

year after year. His one time assistant, Gloria, became his long time housemate and she survives him.

Bob lived in Peoria, Illinois in a big hose outside the city. The house had a large open field behind it bordered by forest the turned brilliant yellow ever fall.Bob practiced falconry and his property was perfect for his birds.

I last saw Bob at a pageant in Peoria during the Covid pandemic. He was sitting net to me and we started photographing the pageant. Bob said he was having trouble breathing, got up ad left. Ever since he had been suffering with respiratory illness.

The internet brought at end to the girlie magazines and the demand for quality photos vanished. With the passing of Bob Ferguson an era has ended. There won’t be others like him.

SPIN THE WHEEL AT REIGN

The NightMoves monthly “Spin The Wheel” party visited Reign Ladies & Gentlemen’s Club last month and it was a blast! We were accompanied by Intimate Desires who supplied us with adult toys, vibrators and other goodies.

It’s always fun watching customers, entertainers and bartenders getting excited when they spin the wheel. When a drink is purchased the customer gets a white ticket and the chance to spin the wheel … every spinner is a winner”!! They can win anything from a piece of candy, lube sample, lotto ticket, squeaking chicken, ink pen, prize basket or vibrator.

Back to back championhips! This rare feat was accomplished by Autumn Knights as she won her second consecutive Exotic Dancer Invitational Showgirl Division Championship. Additionally she received a sash for Most Ambitious Show. The judges were awed by Autumn’s signature move of bouncing on her mini trampoline then leaping through the air to grab on to the pole and spin around.That is something special to see!

A total of 14 ladies competed in two divisions. In the Starlet Division Rachel Rampage was the winner. She also the sash for the Hardest Body.

This was the 10th year anniversary of the EDI. The first was held a decade ago in Los Angeles and we were there. We’ve covered all the EDIs as they moved from Las Vegas to Denver to Dallas and this year at Buck’s Wild North

and South in Houston, Texas on April 10-12,

Besides us, ,Justice has been with the EDI since year one. She must have a huge collection of crowns and sashes. This year she placed second in the Showgirls. Michelle Lynn, another EDI veteran placed third.

Lauren Lotus took second in the Starlet Division with her famous Barbie show and Ciara as a cold as Ice princess was third.

One again Rob Aiken did a tremendous job keeping the stage moving - It’s backbreaking job cleaning up the confetti and other mess and setting up for next show. Danny Meyerd was the Emcee. Lauren Phillips was a sponsor and we were glad to see her.

Next stop for Autumn Knights is the Exotic Dancer Expo to be held this summer in downtown Dallas where she will compete for Entertainer of the Year. For us it’s Rocket City for the third year where we will cover the EDI East at the three Pony clubs this May.

One of the most entertaining feature entertainers in the world made a visit to Déjà vu last month as BJ McNaughty graced the stage April 19 & 20. Seeing a beautiful lady, naked, in full clown face makeup is not something you see every day!

BJ always puts on a great show … sometimes she is blowing up balloons and other times doing pole tricks. If you have never seen her perform you need to make sure you see her act the next time she visits our area.

HAYLA FAYE VISITS THE RED ROOM

The fantastic Hayle Faye was at The Red Room in Pasco County last month on April 20th and every time I see this lady I walk away amazed! She does things on stage that I only see on television during the Olympics. Flips, tricks somersaults and more … oh yeah did I mention she has a great body and always comes on stage with magnificent costumes.

Hayla started her career in Tampa Bay and has been a friend of NightMoves for years and we have been promoting her nationwide. If you missed her last month keep your eyes open for a return visit and we know she will be at the NightMoves Awards in October.

TAMPA BAY RAYS

It is going to be an up and down year for the Rays. At times they look like a solid team that can challenge for the AL East title but other times they look like a team who will struggle to win 70 games. The starting pitching is pretty solid with Eflin, Civale, Littell, Pepiot and Armstrong.

The bullpen is a work in process. With Fairbanks on the IL, the closing job seems to be divided between Clevenger and

Adams. This team doesn’t score a lot of runs so when they have a late inning lead they depend on the bullpen to keep it and that has not always happened.

Offensively the Rays need Arozarena, Siri and Diaz to get their heads out of their butts and start hitting. Thank goodness for the newest Rays … Rosario, Palacios and Caballero … or the team would have zero offense.

The Rays have home games this month with the New York Mets in town May 3-5 followed by the Chicago White Sox May 6-8. The New York Yankees visit Tropicana Field May 10-12, The Boston Red Sox are in town May 20-22, Kansas City is here May 24-26 and the month closes out with the Oakland A’s playing May 2830. Plenty of opportunities to go to the ballpark and root for our Tampa Bay Rays!

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

The Bucs first round draft pick was center Graham Barton from Duke University. He was a great pick and should improve interior protection for Baker Mayfield and help the run game. Barton accumulated plenty of experience at Duke, starting 39 of 40 games over 4 years (34 at left tackle and 5 at center).

It will be an interesting season for Tampa Bay. The NFC South Division has drastically improved with the Atlanta Falcons signing QB Kirk Cousins and drafting Michael Penix, Jr. (a Tampa Bay kid). They are the

What happened to our Bolts? At press time we are down 0-3 to the Florida Panthers and the team can’t catch a break. Unbelievable goaltending by Florida’s Sergei Bobrovsky … goals disallowed by a questionable offsides call … goal posts hit … a four minute power play that took only two shots on goal and all of a sudden they are in serious trouble. Think of this stat: More than 200 NHL teams have dropped the first three games of a series, and only four have come back to win.

Where has Nikita Kucherov been all series? One of the top players in the league has disappeared in the playoffs … Stammer and Andrei Vasilevskiy have been outstanding but they can’t beat a good team like the Panthers by themselves. It will be strange watching the rest of the playoffs without the Lightning being involved.

Avery Cristy is probably the sexiest peeping tom I’ve ever seen in a movie. She plays one in the Derek Dozer-directed ‘The View’ for the Deeper brand. The almost threehour-long mini-series houses four scenes revolving around what Avery’s character spies in a building directly across from her apartment window. She’s able to vicariously live through the lives of those she’s peeping on with a pair of binoculars after being bound to a wheelchair due to an injury. This immobilization takes her on a voyeuristic journey where sizzling sex will take center stage.

Avery hurts herself after a night out with friends and the first real sex scene of the film. She and Isiah Maxwell dig into each other during a fling at a nightclub in the first episode. The plot gains creative momentum after Avery Cristy’s fall down some stairs during that night of partying and hooking up with Isiah. The various sex scenes that follow will be what she encounters behind the lends of her binoculars as she is bound to her wheelchair. This leads to various scenes like the one with Ramon Nomar and Nicole Doshi in the next episode. It turns into a bondage-themed anal affair thanks to Avery’s wandering eyes.

A cheating husband comes into Avery’s sights played by Mick Blue who handles Anya Olsen in that chapter as she plays a mistress he meets up to fuck. Avery starts to memorize the day-to-day lives of those whom she spies on, Mick’s failing marriage setting Anya’s

entanglement into play for example. Avery then realizes that she’s being watched herself which ultimately leads to the finale of The View containing another sex scene with Avery Cristy, this time with her partner Anton Harden in a plot twist.

Episodic content in adult entertainment is handled by top-tier studios thanks to the presence of Vixen Media Group’s brands and visionaries like Kayden Kross as one of the Prime examples.
