The “Dog Days of Summer” are here and I’ve already had enough of the 95 degree days and the afternoon thundershowers. I guess this is the price we pay for living in paradise! This is the last month before things start picking up … football season always seems to mark the time that our local economy starts getting better. Kids go back to school, snowbirds slowly start returning, the football start flying in the air and bars and night clubs get busy!
The NightMoves Awards will take place Sunday evening October 13th at TNA Gentlemen’s Club in St. Petersburg. We learned a lot last year and the club will triple their bar staff … have a limited, fast served food menu … seating will be more comfortable and we will be ready for our huge crowd. 1st ANNUAL NIGHTMOVES ELITE DANCER COMPETITION
July 14 was the date of the 1st Annual NightMoves Elite Amateur Dancer Competition that was held at TNA Gentlemen’s Club in St. Petersburg. We had 12 amazing contestants battle for $2,000 in cash prizes. This event could not have happened without the sponsorship from Todd Couples Superstore. We also want to thank Frank from Continental Talent Agency, Intimate Desires and Skylar Calico who judged the event and DJ Moss who rocked the house! TNA was a super venue and all contestants are nominated in the Elite category on this year’s NightMoves Awards Show ballot.
We had ladies representing: The Red Room, Showgirls (Plant City), Thee Doll
House, Crazy Girls, Reign Ladies & Gentlemen’s Club, Brass Flamingo, 4Play Gentlemen’s Club and Bare Assets.
The winner was Toca who had 329 total points! She was followed by Karma (327 points), Dakota Quinn (324 points) and Ziyah (302 points). The competition was super close and our judges did a great job!
We were very happy with the event and we are planning to do another one next Summer. Here are photos and you can see more on our website.

The amazing Lauren Phillips visited Déjà Vu Showgirls on July 19-20 and performed in front of a packed house both days! Lauren is a Tampa Bay favorite and will be hosting this year’s NightMoves Awards Show on October 13. When Lauren hits the stage you have to be prepared for anything … especially in an all-nude club like Deja Vu! Lenny Mumbles took photos and trust me … we couldn’t print most of them!!

On July 25 Reign Ladies and Gentlemen’s Club held their Tampa Bay’s Hottest Dancer Contest. I’m pissed off! I’m pissed at the Bolt front office and I’m pissed at Steven Stamkos. Stammer and Mikhail Sergachev have exited via free agency and trade. FitWifeJewels: Yes,yes...
Miles: Tell us a little bit about that.
FitWifeJewels: I first got into fitness when I turned 40. I had always been a cardio woman so I wanted to actually build some muscle and so I took this huge plunge, super uncomfortable plunge, and I went into one of those gyms and I hired a personal trainer and I was disappointed because I wanted it desperately. I stayed on a meal plan for a full year following it and then as I continued on, I started to realize that my body was changing and I was getting excited about it and I was going to continue the enthusiasm and someone asked me “do you compete?” And that’s where it all began. (Laughs)
Miles: So what she saying is... If you work hard, you can get great results! (Laughs)
FitWifeJewels: To sum it up, yes!! (Laughs)
Miles: She makes me wanna work out like damn! (Laughs) So when you think back
before you started your Fitness quest, what were you doing? Do you have any hobbies?
FitWifeJewels: Well back then I grew up in the era of slim, skinny so it was a lot of not eating and cardio, lots and lots of cardio. I think the majority of women start with the cardio aspect of the gym so that’s where I did too.
Miles: So when you think all the way back to like when you were in high school and college and stuff, were you a Fitness person back then or did you end up becoming that?
FitWifeJewels: Not at all when I was younger definitely something I picked up later on in life. (Laughs)
Miles: So tell us how did you first get in the business? What I mean is more of the adult focused side of the industry. Because you didn’t originally do that right? (Laughs)
FitWifeJewels: No, this is been a whole evolution. Back when I was younger, going through college, I worked at a strip club. I learned my way there. I think when you’re around people who are open minded like that, you end up being introduced into a lot of different experiences, so it started to evolve with the people that I knew when I learned about my interest in being a Femdom. It turned out that this was actually the energy that I had with me when I discovering who I really
was so when I tapped into that I found that’s where I found a lot of who I am today.
Because of that, anything that resonated with me, simple as an Amazon suggestion such as a title of a book, I should read I went and read it. So I was guided through my path, and I met the people I needed to meet. Miles: So when you were traveling a lot, did you end up deciding to pursue that as sort of a profession? Or were you just looking to enhance your personal life at home?
FitWifeJewels: It was simultaneous. I think it was a little bit of both. That was a big leap to do something like that, to claim that you’re some sort of professional that took a lot of courage, even though I had the skills and the experience to be able to put myself in a magazine or amongst the other amazing women doing this that took me a couple steps. It didn’t come easy. (Laughs)
Miles: And did you find that when you came back to the US that it really helped you blossom in that market space because you had some training that wasn’t readily accessible to most people?
FitWifeJewels: Absolutely, one thing that I realized the most was that in Europe a Dominatrix is a Dominatrix that’s it. There’s no sex involved there’s nothing other than the physical domineering woman. Here in the states it seems like we have this mosh pit of anything and everything related to sexuality, everything just bleeds into each other. But ultimately on the professional level, I just stayed put for the most part.
Miles: Now there was sort of a transition you started to morph into I don’t want to say mainstream but more adult content of a sexual nature. Can you tell us a little bit about that, about how you made the decision? Doing my research I found that you’ve done some adult content like group scenes, you’ve done some orgies etc., so tell us a little bit about that!
FitWifeJewels: That was probably the biggest learning curve I’ve ever been on and there’s a step in between there, I got married! FitWifeJewels: We did Deep Throat in Cozumel, you started at 80 feet you go into the cave at 80 feet and when I come up and out and look at my dive meter, it said 129 feet!! (Laughs)
