A BOTTLE
PACK FAU USP | 2012 The bottle pack project consists in developing a package for a specific bottle using simply a A1 piece of paper, that should be structured and hold the bottle only by its folds. The developed shape covers and protects the bottle, but give a hint of what is inside. The unpacking (and repacking) intends to be an exciting contra clockwise movement, that reveals at once the bottle kept inside, without it having to be remove from a “inside of a box.

MODULAR BRIDGE FAU USP | 2012
GROUP WORK: MARINA DIEZ + VITOR ENDO
The objective of this project was creating a module that associated would be structured enough to close a span, using simply wood sticks and thread. The developed module assumes a pyramidal shape, and it is associated with the other modules is by joining two modules together without tying, as if it was a dovetail. Although the module is simple and in a normal shape, the bridge proved to be really strong, and being able to close really big spans.

ORGANIC SC U LPTURE
FAU USP | 2014 The main objective of this organic sculpture is to be more than a piece of art, but also furniture. For this reason the place for it was chosen first than its shape. As a site-specific the form, dimensions and the material were chosen. The location is a building in the SĂŁo Paulo University that hosts the Centre for Brazilian Culture and its library. And although the architecture of the “Brasilianaâ€? building is really impressive, its wide spans and intensity of concrete, glass and metal creates a big void in the central area of this building. Therefore the organic sculpture was created in order to contrast the straight lines of the perspective; to place a material that is associated with warm atmospheres; and to be used as a furniture (such as a bench, a playground or simply a meeting point); that would contribute to reverse the emptiness of this majestic scales, pretty common for the brazilian architecture modernism, and bring more life, invite people to stay longer, serve as a meeting spot and to reverse the originals shapes of the building, without being aggressive to it. GEOMETRIC
SCULPTURE
FAU USP | 2014 In contrast with the organic sculpture project, the geometric one was designed for being the less interfiring in the location where it would be placed, and it is planned for suiting any open space (although it can also be placed indoor). The main intention is to the sculpture to be used in any form as well. The leaning plan offers a surface to be sitting on, lay, or climbed. And its sidewalls offer a great backboard. More than just discussing aesthetic, the sculpture projects try to discuss the space, the forms of interacting to them and even using them. I believe that elements can lead big influences in a room/ space, and that is what I search for with the two sculptures. PG

PROJECT:
F A R B E IN SIEGEN UNI SIEGEN | 2014 The first objective of this photograph series was to depicture the colours that I used to see in the city of Siegen during the time I spent there. Therefore no picture was perfectly focused. After printing the results, my instantly idea was to somehow join the pictures as of they compose a panorama (although the places photographed have nothing to do with each other). When creating this composition I even placed the shapes together creating even some perspectives and inventing some unreal architectural possibilities. Finally the created panorama even suggests a narrative, maybe by its colours, day passage or the crossing landscapes shown. The real panorama is sized in 0,15m x 3,20m PG

APP ICON
DESIGN
Sテグ PAULO - PRIVATE WORK | 2014 This icon was developed for a database organizer app, which is much less heavy than similar applications. This main characteristic was the information that the icon should translate. Therefore it was this diagram was created, as organizing piles. In addition to convince that the application is lighter than normal ones, the worldwide sign for lack of weight was used, the feather. And in the same way the blue colour was chosen. PG

This is a personal project, developed to be a present. The collages illustrate a story, which is told along the months during the year of 2015. The images are all taken from the Internet, and collated together through Photoshop.

ILL U S T R A T I T I O N
PROJECT: TRAPPED SEA LIFE
Sテグ PAULO - PRIVATE WORK | 2012 _ 2015 This is a personal project. There are several drawings that express the same motif, cloistered fishes. The drawings are made in China Ink, on paper, in the average size of a A5. The work is still in progress and it started in 2012. PG

SKETCHES
PRIVATE WORK | 2012 _ 2015 Those are some sketches that in my point of view (although not intentionally) have to do with the “trapped sea life drawings, since all of them contain personified animals. The drawings are made in China Ink or Pastel, on paper, in the average size of a A5. PG

This object design was developed for a specific case: by the time it was raining a lot in Brazil, and some countryside cities flooded and the population had to be removed from their houses and they were living in improvised camps. This laundry sink is then developed to be a solution for hygine in such an emergencial situation. It is a way of washing clothes, or even food, more independently from the water reservoir. It is also pretty easy to move, push and pull the wagon, since the wheels are big enough, suitable for any kind of path. PG

temporary
food kiosk
FAU USP | 2013
GROUP WORK: BEATRIZ LORENZI + MARINA DIEZ + MARINA PIZZOTTI The Kiosk was developed to be a temporary stablishment that can be built and unbuilt and be placed in different locations. Therefore it was projected in a form of modules and pieces that can be simply joint, made of alluminium or polyurethane. The objective is to be an open but sheltered place where people are able to simply get the food to take away, or seat. Seals were also projected in order to close the kiosk when it is needed. PG

ARCHITECTURE
FAU USP | 2013
DESIGN
GROUP WORK: ANTJE KARSTENI + MARINA DIEZ
This architecture project is to plan a new building for the Stadtarchiv in Siegen. The ground plan is located prettz close to the old city centre that is in a higher level, over a hill. Due to this location, the ground plan has an impressive panorama view. Therefore it was intended to propose a building which promotes much more than only housing the archiv collection.
