THE LIST THE PUBLISHER Our Entertainment Issue is an issue very near to my heart. Working for many years in the entertainment industry has allowed me to have a well-rounded grasp on all things nightlife, and helped guide my path into the media world. We had the pleasure of interviewing Holly Madison for our cover story, and I can’t think of a better entertainer to represent this issue. We’ve also got a review on Cirque Du Soleil’s cinema-inspired masterpiece IRIS, and after seeing the show myself, I couldn’t be more impressed by the performers and visual effects. As always, we continue to bring our readers nightlife guides for live music, clubs, and provide editorials on the best places to eat, drink and party. This month NiteGuide held its first-ever “Cover Model Casting Call” at Drai’s Hollywood. Riding the elevator up to the rooftop getaway –located in the heart of Hollywood- set the tone for the poolside photo shoot where we shot the top model submissions. Models and partygoers were mingling and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday. This is only the beginning, and I look forward to more casting calls and inviting our readers along for the ride. As summer draws to a close, we continue to capture the best in warm weather nightlife. ew—if any— restaurants come close to being as aesthetically pleasing as Faux Pas Bistro with its European inspired charm and elegance. This 6,000 square foot splendor designed by Kris Keith of the Spacecraft Group is adorned with exposed brick, vintage wooden tables, and a rustic fireplace in the main dining area, while red banquettes, enchanting glass, and wooden cabinets decorate the other side of the bistro. An open roof Mimosa Bar with white marble countertops divides the restaurant, providing natural lighting and bringing forth the intimate, European enthusiasm inherent in the décor. The Loup De Mer is just as pleasing and aesthetically ambitious as the design of Faux Pas Bistro itself. This Mediterranean Sea Bass, also known as Branzino, is infused overnight with thyme, bay leaves, and olive oil, then grilled in a stone pizza oven and served on a cast iron pan with grilled baguette slices, grilled citron, and a side of Petite Frisee salad.

ominick’s warm, rustic atmosphere embodies the comfort of home and is a result of its New York neighborhood-inspired décor, complete with outside brick patio, working herb garden, and cozy brick fireplace. Paying homage to the original Dominick’s frequented by Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack in the late 1940’s, the white tiled floors remain, along with dark-wood accents and red booths, but a marble bar and Thonet chairs give the restaurant a modernized charm. Dominick’s American-Italian inspired cuisine and genuine home spirit have catapulted the restaurant to a position of prominence in West Los Angeles since its renovation in 2004. Their seasonal Grilled Oysters topped with oregano, lemon, garlic, and smoked paprika butter are the quintessence of summer seafood, and perfect to enjoy on their tree-shaded patio.

Samuel Adams Summer Ale is a refreshing and citrusy American wheat ale that was inspired by Belgian white beers, which originated in Brussels during the 14th century. I
n any discussion about where the heart of the world’s theater industry lies, it’s usually a toss-up between New York’s Broadway theater district and London’s West End. Valid arguments could be made for both. On one hand, London’s theater district is rich with history, and often considered the highest level of commercial theater in the English-speaking world, drawing upwards of 13 million attendees annually. On the other hand, Broadway is what the starving actor/ singer/dancer’s dreams are made of. It too is considered the highest level of commercial theater in the English-speaking world, selling over $1 billion worth of tickets annually. Both are epicenters of theatrical greatness. The global theater industry, however, is a tale of more than just two cities. If all the world truly is a stage, then one of the most important segments of any destination city’s cultural scene is its theater and entertainment. Catching a live production in any city is likely to give you an understanding of the local history, traditions and perspective. These six major cities have developed reputable theater and entertainment districts, and we’ve scouted the best places to enjoy the nightlife before and after the show.
Paris Paris offers a wide range of theatrical experiences and is a major hub for art and culture. The city offers top-notch entertainment both in opera houses and theaters. One of the most prominent theaters in the world, La Comedie-Francaise offers Shakespeare, Tennessee Williams classics and some contemporary shows. The real gems of the performing arts scene in Paris are the numerous traditional Parisian cabarets. Nostalgic, kitschy, fun, and sometimes erotic, cabarets like the world famous Crazy Horse Paris and Lido de Paris bring on the French can-can dances, lots of skin, and lively entertainment. No trip to Paris would be complete without a stop in Moulin Rouge, where you can enjoy dinner paired with vibrant avant-garde performances in one of the oldest cabarets in Paris.
Edinburgh Every August, the Edinburgh International Festival brings the arts to life in a three-week extravaganza celebrating the best in theater, dance, music, opera, and visual arts. Six major theaters and concert halls and a few smaller venues take part in the events. Also in August, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe will feature a record-breaking amount of performances in multiple facets of performing arts. Musicals, West End shows, Shakespeare, and local contemporary plays are popular in Edinburgh. The best pre-show dining can be found at Zucca Café and Restaurant, offering Italian cuisine and conveniently located between Lyceum Theatre and Usher Hall. You can also call in a reservation at Fishers in the City for exquisite seafood served in a classy contemporary dining space, the perfect start to an evening of appreciating culture and art.
Chicago Chicago is generally a great city in any facet of entertainment. With respect to theater, Chicago is great for up-and-coming talent, and many awardwinning Broadway shows made their first run here, including Monty Python’s Spamalot and Mel Brooks’ The Producers. Comedy and improv also thrive in Chicago’s performance arts scene. The likes of Gary Sinise, Joan Allen, Stephen Colbert, Tina Fey, John Malkovich, and Amy Poehler have come from Chicago theaters and drama companies. New York City The Big Apple hosts one of the richest and most distinguished theater districts in the world, and has been called home to some of the greatest stage actors and playwrights in history. Beyond the glitz and glamour of Broadway, the city also hosts other extravaganzas in live productions, such as theater festivals, theater in the park, and many smaller independent venues that offer gritty raw performances by up-and-coming actors throughout the five boroughs. Hands down, New York City offers the biggest box office hits. Schedules can vary, but there are usually about eight shows per week, with tickets ranging from $20 to $100. If you’re visiting from out of town, check with your hotel concierge to arrange for tickets. The best pre-show dinner can be found at db Bistro, a casual, contemporary Parisian bistro. For a meal after the show, head to Joe Allen Restaurant on West 46th Street. Serving traditional American cuisine, the staff at Joe Allen Restaurant are typically knowledgeable in theater and often you’ll see some of Broadway’s brightest stars hanging out here after their performances.
London Home to the most famous theater companies on the planet and housing shows in some of the most impressively breathtaking buildings, London is ground zero of Shakespearean theater. Setting foot here would be a significant historical experience for any theater buff. Both modern plays and classic performances shine in London’s West End theater district, which is a lively cultural center where you can also find some of the best shopping and dining London has to offer. Some of the best pre-theater dining spots are Rules and Mon Plaisir. Among the top shows currently playing on West End are Matilda the Musical, War Horse, and Billy Elliot – The Musical.
Las Vegas For acrobatics, music, and highly rated live performances, visit the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas. “Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular” can be found at The Venetian’s multi-million dollar theater that is inspired by the story’s setting, a Parisian Opera House. Other Broadway and OffBroadway shows can be found at Mandalay Bay Theatre and at Luxor. Production shows by Cirque du Soleil are especially popular and for good reason. “Mystere” at Treasure Island is the epitome of Vegas entertainment. “O” at Bellagio is a breathtaking aquatic acrobat show. La Reve at the Wynn Theater is similar to “O” but in a more intimate setting, and Peepshow at Planet Hollywood is a can’t-miss burlesque smash. For pre and post-show dining, the Las Vegas strip is abundant in options. The smartest and easiest thing to do is to dine at the same hotel where your show is. Cut at The Palazzo is great for steak, RM Upstairs at Mandalay Bay offers great seafood, and BARMASA at Aria is one of the best Japanese restaurants on the strip. Sabina Gault understands the grind of the PR industry. She broke into the business at age nineteen and proceeded to work her way to the top of the industry ladder, now operating as CEO of Konnect PR. She speaks six languages, travels the world, and manages to maintain a passion for culture, fitness, and family. Sabina took time out of her crazy schedule to share with NiteGuide the nuances of the PR industry. NiteGuide Magazine: Rumor has it PR is a round the clock job, agree or disagree? Sabina Gault: For sure- if you are on top of it and you are truly passionate about it, you’re in it at all times. You’re either on the phone with an editor talking about a product, flying around the country to meet clients, or putting together new

NGM: Do you get tons of great perks? SG: Yeah in many ways. Obviously nightlife is a good perk, being able to know owners and people that have the say in whether you get a reservation or not at a hot spot. You get to travel and visit places that you otherwise may not, some cooler than others. You definitely get to try tons of products and see them before they even get into the buyer’s hands. So there are a lot of fabulous aspects that’s for sure. NGM: Can you share a story where you were surprised by a client? For whatever reason... SG: I am always pleasantly surprised at the fact that our biggest piece of business comes from referrals from current clients. Not only are they willing
to “share” us but they are also more than happy to give intricate details of their campaigns to help win us business - which is amazing to me and always highly appreciated. NGM: Can you tell us about any upcoming restaurants that are particularly interesting? SG: One of my favorite topics since I absolutely love good food... I am always a fan of farm to table places and those are everywhere in LA, New York and San Francisco. Also intriguing are the tapas places. Famed chef Dani Garcia is slated to open an outpost of Manzanilla -now in Malaga- in NYC. I am definitely looking forward to trying that. I work in downtown LA and a new place called Kitchen Table just opened in the Old Bank District. Based on the idea of mom’s home cooking, the new restaurant offers classic American food that revolves around farmer’s markets and fresh ingredients. While I haven’t been yet, this restaurant has been in the making for quite some time and I am excited to try it as I know it has some big names behind it from throughout the LA culinary scene. NGM: What’s the best part about your job? KB: Working with the staff is the best part. I've never worked with such a fun group of people. For example, you can catch people running around in pink gorilla suits just because they can.
NGM: Who’s the best DJ TAO has hosted this summer? KB: That's a tough one. We have had a lot of great DJs this year, but one of my favorites is Benny Benassi. NGM: What’s one thing people may not immediately guess about a dayclub? KB: Most people don’t know that there's food, and TAO Beach has some great Asian-inspired dishes. NGM: Does the water seem to calm the crowds, or make them more rowdy? KB: Definitely more rowdy! Imagine when you were five-years-old and you learned how to splash for the first time—it's something like that, yet with a crowd of people splashing to the beat of the DJ. NGM: How many bottles of sunscreen do you keep on hand? KB: I keep two bottles on hand. I keep one for my face and another for the rest of my body.

ver the last decade, Eric Prydz generated a massive underground following by blending his complex sound with an uninhibited penchant for experimentation. After almost five years without a state-
side show, Prydz headed to the US in support of his three disc compilation, Pryda, hitting select clubs and headlining the Identity Festival. After ten years of releasing underground anthems, the Swedish born, London local enjoyed the process of putting together a proper album. The first disc, comprised of previously unreleased material, includes fan favorite “Shadows” which was already well known to his followers courtesy of a leaked version on Youtube. As for the success of the track before it was officially available, Prydz notes that, “Obvisouly these days as a bedroom

producer or otherwise, you can promote your music in a way that was never possible fifteen [or] twenty years ago. It’s amazing that you can reach millions of people by the click of a button.” The second and third discs are nods to some of his favorite pre-released music, and with an arsenal of singles, the process of choosing which tracks to honor on the compilation couldn’t have been an easy task. Prydz admits that he could have easily released a twenty disc album, finding both solace and stimulation through his recording process. As for finding inspiration himself, his fear of flying has ultimately led to some of his greatest musings. “When I tour in Europe I travel by train. I get to travel through the Italian and Swiss Alps one day, the countryside of Sicily the next, and something different the day after that. I get to see all these amazing places that you wouldn’t normally get to see if you fly. So I think me sleeping with a laptop, making music, and having amazing new scenarios going through me all the time gives me inspiration.” After a highly sought after run on his European “Epic” tour that featured an enormous traveling set (larger than a jumbo jet), he looks forward to the opportunity to travel with fellow DJs during the Identity Festival and enjoy his contemporaries’ music. Whether or not the grandeur of the “Epic” tour will make the journey to America remains to be seen, but Prydz won’t rule it out completely. “It’s a massive, massive thing and it takes so many people, so much work. Just installing it, re-upping it, taking it down again. It’s something we do for special occasions, but we have been talking about taking it to the states for a proper tour. That would be amazing you know? But it’s something we need to look at for the future.”

After opening for Grouplove and White Arrows at the US Surf Open in Huntington, NiteGuide caught up with band members Austin Ferreira, Casey Snyder, Derek Bostelman, Ben Tinsley, and Giuseppe LoBasso to discuss pirates, rule breaking, and what’s next.

NiteGuide Magazine: How did you come up with the name Hindu Pirates? Austin Ferreira: It was in high school. We were trying to think of a band name and that one just popped out and sounded funny so we went with it. NGM: Speaking of high school, who in your group would you nominate “Most Likely to Become an Actual Pirate” and why? AF: I guess Joey- the youngest member. You never know what’s going through his head, [laughing] he’s pretty unpredictable! NGM: Pirates have a reputation for being rule breakers. What’s the most bad ass thing you guys have done lately? AF: We almost started a brush fire on our way home from San Francisco a couple of weeks ago. We lit off some bottle rockets too close to a dry grass field! NGM: Oh no! So what can you tell me about your upcoming EP, Requiem, you guys just recorded? AF: We just recorded at Hurley Studios and finished it about a month ago. We’re pretty stoked on it. NGM: You guys just did a benefit show July 20th for the Indiegogo Campaign, right? Are we seeing a more charitable side of pirates? AF: We play a lot of benefit shows. We did another one in Solana Beach on July 21st, and we have another on August 4th in Venice Beach. NGM: So do you guys have any other stuff coming up on the horizon right now? AF: We’re playing at The Observatory in September. NGM: And you just played there, right? How was that? AF: It was really cool, the place was packed. rom the black and white silent films of the early 20th century to genres like “Western” and “Cops and Robbers,” Cirque Du Soleil’s IRIS executes a breathtaking, emotionally infused interpretation of the evolution of cinema. With acrobatics, choreography, live orchestral music, and projections, IRIS combines inventiveness and avant-garde in an awe-inspiring, surreal tribute to the world of cinema, bringing it to life like never before. The plot centers around two young heroes who embark on a journey filled with romance and tragedy in a world that uses a unique blend of projections, lighting, and sound to portray different cinematic genres. Written and directed by Phillipe Decoufle, IRIS uses the beautiful aesthetics of contortionists, the intimacy and emotion of a dueling strap act, the precision of choreographed acrobatics and dance, and a carefully crafted soundscape to unveil the world of cinema. Whether it’s the organized chaos of a movie set, or the inception of silent films, IRIS employs artfully designed sets created by Jean Rabasse and innovative artists to bring light to IRIS’s imaginative and comprehensive world of cinema. Without the help of digital effects, IRIS relies on the human element to reproduce the emergence of special effects in cinema, and transforms circus acrobatics into an emotional language that helps tell the story of film. With 200 total costumes designed by Phillipe Guillotel and 8,300 square feet of performance floor, IRIS utilizes the stage and its 72 artists as projection screens that work as a complimentary narrative for the director to tell his story. By executing seemingly impossible acrobatics with projections of shadows, IRIS is able to create their own special effects using people and evoke feelings of wonder from the crowd, much in the same way cinema creates impossible looking feats using digital special effects. The advanced sound system custom designed by world-renown sound designer Francois Bergeron and installed at the Dolby Theater brings life to the powerful collection of emotions embedded in each note of Grammy award winning Danny Elfman’s IRIS compositions. In IRIS, music is a prominent feature that helps the crowd journey into a cinematic state. Keeping with Cirque Du Soleil tradition, IRIS successfully combines masterful art forms with both the humor and seriousness of Decoufle for one truly inventive experience in the evolution of cinema. olly Madison is no stranger to the spotlight. After embarking on a career in the public eye, the former Girls Next Door star branched out of reality television and into the glitz of Sin City. Now a household name, she prepares to give her final performances in the smash striptease spectacular, PEEPSHOW at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
Madison’s intrigue with the world of burlesque first took shape while filming E! network’s guilty-pleasure series, where she toyed with the idea of making a guest appearance at a Las Vegas burlesque show as a plot line for the reality program. The idea of revealing the work that went into developing an act for the stage –from scratch– appealed to Madison. In the wake of her plans to bring burlesque to Girls Next Door, her career made an unexpected shift. “At the time I was in talks to do a guest appearance at the Crazy Horse Paris for this purpose. While we were in talks about it, my personal life kind of went to hell in a handbasket and I ended up quitting Girls Next Door, even though E! had already ordered another season,” Madison shares. “The thought of learning some skills and headlining a show on the Las Vegas strip was still on my mind, though I had become more ambitious about it and decided I wanted to do something more long term and not just a short guest appearance.” After auditioning for the role of “Bo Peep” in PEEPSHOW, her fascination with stage work became a reality. Taking the first few months to settle into her role as an unsure, innocent young woman seeking full-blown sexual liberation, Madison fine-tuned her style and ultimately took ownership of Bo Peep. She eventually absorbed an additional singing role of “Teddy,” where she momentarily steps out of Bo Peep, and into the role of Goldie Locks. After receiving high praise from publications including The New York Times and Playboy Magazine, PEEPSHOW quickly became one of the hottest shows on the Strip. 28 niteguidemag.com

So what prompts a talented bombshell to depart from a critically embraced Las Vegas review? “It’s just time,” Madison explains. “At the end of my run, I will have been doing PEEPSHOW for almost four years. It’s been an amazing experience, but I need to be able to move on and do other things professionally. When you are headlining a Vegas show full time, your schedule just doesn’t permit that. I want to travel. I want to have kids.” Performers in the entertainment industry can attest that “full time” is a literal expression. The show runs six to eight times per week and requires constant dedication and focus, which Madison has happily given over the past four years. With close friend and Holly’s World co-star Josh Strickland sharing the stage, her time with PEEPSHOW served as an opportunity for growth both professionally and personally. Her final performance in December comes on the brink of future endeavors that include a new television show involving a fashion company, starting a family, and furthering her stage career. As for PEEPSHOW, her departure is bittersweet. “Of course it’s bittersweet for me! I have loved working with the cast, crew, and creative team and have had such a positive experience with this show. If I stayed forever, I would stop challenging myself though.”

efore joining the cast of PEEPSHOW, Josh Strickland aided in creating the leading role in the Broadway production of Tarzan, and appeared on various television shows with Phil Collins in support of the Disney rendition. Strickland joined the cast of PEEPSHOW as an original member in 2009, and continues as the sole male vocalist in the Sin City smash. NiteGuide Magazine: Can you share why the art of the striptease is winning over the hearts of the masses? Josh Strickland: I really feel like Jerry Mitchell’s idea and vision is so beautifully executed with the right songs and the right characters. He brings it back to what the term “burlesque” used to mean; only showing bits and pieces here and there, and artfully taking off parts of your clothing. We have some of the most beautiful people, not only on the Strip, but in the country and I believe that doesn’t hurt either. NGM: How does Holly affect the dynamic of PEEPSHOW? JS: Holly has just been an incredible light and great headliner for our show. She exudes all the things that Bo Peep needs; she is gorgeous, and has this innocence to her. It really has been a joy to not only work with her, but to have her as one of my best friends. NGM: What’s the most challenging aspect of your role? JS: The most challenging thing is to perform these songs day in and day out, seven times a week. It’s vocally challenging, but I also want to keep it fresh and new as each show is something different for those who are seeing it for the first time. I try to give it 100% every time. NGM: What’s something people wouldn’t immediately guess about PEEPSHOW? JS: That we have something for everyone and that all of our vocals and production value are similar to anything you would see on Broadway. Also, audiences will leave with a huge smile on their face from genuinely having an amazing time.

Orange County Fair Grounds [Costa Mesa] By Fred Dyoll | Photos by MyClubScene.com | Martin Clara Forty2 took over the Meadows Stage at the Orange County Fair on July 14th, performing to a warm and receptive crowd. The local hip hop group brought the energy level up, keeping the crowd engaged until the last note. Founder and MC/vocalist Chad Galati started the group last year, teaming up with fellow vocalist Kody Kropp. After picking up additional members, the group now operates on a new level that creates an all encompassing sound. The new direction of the expanded version of Forty2 allows their hip hop, R&B, pop and soul roots to shine, all channeled through a full band and various vocalists and MC’s. Their track “Crazy Is Them” was a highlight at the show, drawing in passersby for the upbeat performance. “The best part about performing at the fair was the experience of having the entire artist base out at one show for the first time. The crowd reach and positive response was one to remember and the opportunity definitely pushed the music to a new level. It was great to have a range of ages, from ten-years-old to grown adults, all mutually connected with us and most importantly having fun,” Galati said. Dirty Hype fuses dubstep, art Coach House [San Juan Capistrano]
By Kristen Newman | Photos by MyClubScene.com | Brian Brown The night before the 4th of July brought an excited crowd to The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, where people began crowding in at 9pm for the highly anticipated 2nd annual event: Independence. Presented by a company dedicated to creating a community of extreme artists and musicians, The Dirty Hype successfully produced an exhilarating night of enlivening beats and dancing. The show opened with upbeat sets by Steviewild, Bix King, and Gummy that left the crowd begging for more. Their wish was granted when well-renown DJ Minnesota hit the stage. With elated hearts and ears full of a hypnotic blend of dubstep/hip-hop/electro, the crowd danced the night away inside the concert hall. During his performance, The Dirty Hype had some of their favorite artists creating live paintings, and The Ink Gallery in San Clemente had artists offering free tattoos to the guests. With all the locals back in town and everyone pumped for their favorite beach holiday, this event’s success was evident before the night even began. After Minnesota’s performance was over, ringing ears and enormous smiles could be seen throughout the venue and confirmed The Dirty Hype’s achievement. With so many delighted attendees, the 2nd Annual Independence is one event that will not be soon forgotten.

The New York solo performer not only thrills his audience with dirty dubstep tracks, he also puts on a wildly entertaining show. Inside the picturesque Yost Theater, the crowd absorbed the full-bodied beats and traveled from as far as San Luis Obispo to feel the buzz of the bass. The show earned party status and became interactive when go-go dancers handed out flashing glow sticks and mingled with the crowd. The mesh of lights from the stage and glow sticks illuminated the room, creating a bouncing sea of color. With the addition of confetti cannons, Kill The Noise created more than just a memory; he created an unforgettable experience. The Yost always provides a great environment to meet new people and hear great music, and this event was no exception. The crowd came together under one giant blanket of bass and danced to this killer dubstep artist’s music. Kill The Noise definitely topped the charts for the Yost Theater, and is only the beginning of what the venue has in store for the rest of the summer.

After a long day at the beach, settle into the night and check out San Diego’s newest hot spot, Xscape Nightclub. Xscape is located on the corner of 7th and C Street, deep in the heart of The Gaslamp District. This section of San Diego is always bustling with music and dance lovers, and it’s only fitting that Xscape open its doors here. The three level night club features a beautiful 175 square foot LED wall which illuminates and changes colors to the beat of the music, a full bar, VIP bottle service, go-go dancers, and the most highly advanced audio system on the West Coast. The nightlife vibe is set off by San Diego’s thriving club scene, where Xscape has found a home. On July 20th, NiteGuide magazine made a visit to Xscape Nightclub, where the evening featured DJ Fingaz as the headlining entertainer. DJ Fingaz provided a superb performance and the club goers had an unforgettable time. He kept the energy high for the duration of his set. The drinks were flowing, the crowd was dancing, and the night was a success. Whether you’re in the San Diego area visiting, or live just a few minutes away, Xscape Nightclub is the perfect spot to party on the weekends.

iteGuide Magazine held its inaugural “Model Casting Call” at Drai’s Hollywood on July 22nd, where models from across Southern California came out to participate in the search for NiteGuide’s newest cover model.

With over one hundred submissions, organizers had the difficult task of selecting the finalists. After reviewing the hundreds of submissions, a selected few beautiful girls were hand picked for the event. The live photo shoot settled into Drai’s perfectly, with the rooftop dayclub serving as the perfect backdrop for the shoot. Models were able to enjoy the warm afternoon and pose for the photographers, all set among sophisticated cabanas accentuated by red chaise lounges. Pool parties are always a good time, but with the added entertainment of a photo shoot (featuring gorgeous girls form across the West Coast) the afternoon was quite extraordinary. Pictures were snapped throughout the venue, where the partygoers became part of the experience and were able to dance, drink, swim, and party while hanging out with the perspective cover models. While Drai’s is known for having some of the best nightlife in Los Angeles, their Sunday pool party has become a staple event in Hollywood and operated as the ideal location for the casting call. Once the photo shoot came to an end, the NiteGuide crew celebrated the day by indulging in Drai’s delicious lunch menu, drinking Belvedere, and relaxing by swimming with the various blow up turtles and whales. Overall the day was filled with great food and drinks, beautiful women, and a vibe second to none. NiteGuide continues the search for their newest cover model. very Monday night, partygoers flock to Los Angeles’ hottest club – Playhouse Nightclub– to indulge in live music, upbeat dancing, and overall good vibes. MyClubScene joined forces with Playhouse & Monday Social to set the standard for weeknight nightlife. July 23rd was no exception to the club’s always-exciting atmosphere. DJ Khach and Smooth started the night off by dropping energizing beats that brought everyone to the dance floor. With swaying hips and flowing drinks, the entire crowd was in high spirits. A little after midnight, Canadian headliners Sultan and Ned Shepard took the stage and poured an electrifying amount of energy into the club, summoning people to the dance floor. The duo brought out multiple remixes for the crowd, ensuring a well-rounded night of music. In addition to the live entertainment, the venue itself added to the experience. With a bar centered around the heart of the club, guests are able to enjoy the pulsating music of the DJ while they order their drinks. The weekly event is now in its sixteenth year, and continues to bring Southern California an entertaining option for Monday nights, and shows no signs of slowing down. With MyClubScene and Playhouse teaming up with Monday Social, a new platform for growth is realized in the weeknight club scene by channeling Orange County party goers into the heart of Hollywood.
