From the District
Your Governor, Ciara Clarkin Welcome, New Jersey Key Clubbers, to the final Jersey Key issue of the service year! With the end of the year approaching, we have many wonderful achievements and memories to reflect upon from the past 12 months. Within the next few days, hundreds of Key Clubbers will be gathered at our 72nrd annual District Convention where we will all be celebrating these accomplishments together! I would like to take this time to say how appreciative I am of all of you and the work you have accomplished. It was my complete honor and privilege to have served you all in this position and I cannot wait to see what the newly elected officers will do this upcoming service year. Thank you all for being so amazing and making this one of the greatest service years yet! ~Ciara

District Project Update: Hunger in NJ
First of all, on behalf of the 1/8 people affected by hunger in New Jersey, the District would like to thank each and every one of you Key Club members for dedicating your hours and effort into fighting against this state-wide issue for the past 3 years. You have no idea how much it means to the food banks and families in desperate need of food to have thousands of New Jersey Key Club members raise money and donate food so they can eat their next meal year after year. You all are truly life savers and should be very proud for any contribution you made and/or awareness you spread. As of March 2018, here are our totals for 2017-2018 service year!

BUT IT'S NOT OVER YET! Your district will be hosting a food drive as one final push towards reaching our gaols at this year's District Convention! See the flyer on the next page for more details :)

District Convention 2018
Get excited guys! DCON 2018 is only a few days away! Sooner than you know it, you and hundreds of other volunteers from around the District will be gathered together at the Ocean Place Resort and Spa to celebrate the end of a very successful fun-filled year.Â
You will have the chance to meet the District Board, elect the incoming District Board, go to dances, go to the beach, hang our with your friends, attend informative workshops on leadership and Key Club, eat amazing food, and of course, learn everything there is to know about DCON.Â
With special guest Mykee Fowlin--a psychologist, performer, and poet--as our keynote speaker!

10 2018 Midwinter Training Conference
From Friday, February 24th to Sunday, the 25th, your current LTGs and the elects for the upcoming service year gathered together at Ocean Place Resort & Spa for a weekend of training and fun. The current LTGs presented various topics that a lieutenant governor deals with on a daily basis, from communicating with clubs to sending out emails. We all bonded with one another as well as played fun games! This weekend's purpose is to ensure success for the 2018-2019 service year as your new lieutenant governors begin to take term starting March 25th.

On Sunday, March 3rd, volleyball teams from all over New Jersey gathered together in one Spike Out Hunger tournament. We were able to raise over $700!
