experience. Informative workshops were held where the District Executives and Lieutenant Governors trained. New Jersey Key Clubbers were able to meet people from across the world, pintrade, dance the night away, visit interesting places to eat, and experience what is truly international. There were guest speakers such as Laura Marano with the Thirst Project. Kaitlin Cirillo, IP District Treasurer, was elected International Vice President. At House of Delegates, the pledge was changed for the first time in Key Club history. "God" was removed and replaced with "world" to be more inclusive. IP District Governor Frank D'Agostino, IP District Secretary Chiara Fune, and IP District Treasurer Kaitlin Cirillo were all awarded Distinguished. NJ also brought home so many trophies and Hannah Nivar was retired as International VP. ICON was an adventure from start to finish!

K-FAMILY PICNIC On July 14th, members from all levels of the K-Family came together for an afternoon of fun. Key Clubbers from across New Jersey went to Green Island Community Club House in Toms, River NJ. Circle K, the collegiate branch of Kiwanis, hosted the event. There was tons of food, activities, and games at the K-Family Picnic. Members of the K-Family cleaned the beach as well as had a water balloon fundraiser. Key Clubbers from New York also came down to have fun. Overall, it was an amazing event that bonded Key Clubbers and furthered Kiwanis family relations.
KIWANIS BOARD MEETING At the Kiwanis Board Meeting this past Saturday, our IP District Treasurer and current International Vice President spoke to the members of Kiwanis. Kiwanis family relations are very important for the success of all Kiwanis organizations!

December. You and your friends will be able to stay at the Baptist Camp in Lebanon, NJ and learn about what it takes to become a servant leader. Although Key Leader is not as big as other district events, it is still a good experience. With less people, you will be able to have a better bonding experiences as well as be able to hone your decision making and relationship skills. Among other skills you will also be able to increase your social awareness. Throughout the weekend you will get to bond with your cabin-mates, learn about self awareness, and be able to get involved with Key Club and Kiwanis. The price for this event is $195 for participants and $150 for student facilitators. It will be taking place from December 6th-8th. To register, please go to key-leader.org, select Register and scroll down to see the December 6th-8th entry. Then, select it to start your registration. The best part about this event is that you do not have to be in Key Club to participate! This event can serve as a great opportunity to hone your leadership skills and will leave great memories
