Kirsten’s KEY Notes Hey Division 4, I hope all of you Key Clubbers had a great summer vacation and are ready to jump right back into service in September. Even though all of you may have taken the summer off of Key Club, I have not. From July 4th to the 12th I, along with about 44 other New Jersey Key Clubbers were on the International Convention Tour of 2010, making our way from New Jersey to Sandusky, Ohio to Nashville, Tennessee to finally rest for the weekend in Memphis, Tennessee for the grand International Convention. I can honestly say that it was the best road trip I have ever been on. During the trip I made tons of new friends and became even closer to the friends who went with me. The convention its self was 10 times better than I ever imagined. There was amazing entertainment and in one of the workshops I think I lost a few pounds doing some sort of extreme dance exercise. ICON was a super fun way to spend a week of my summer and amidst all the fun I learned even more about Key Club, how to make the world better through service, and that Mamma McKamey’s cookies are to die for. OMG! These pants fit the entire NJ District Board!!! This Zoo was fun, and we got to meet members of our sister district, the Carolinas If any club would like to have an article published in this newsletter about the events you have held, or will be holding in the future, don’t hesitate to contact me. It is a great way to publicize to other clubs in our division as well as the district board.
