SUMMER IS HERE!
Well…it’s arrived at North at least, with the release of our Triple Summer Launch! Now we just need the weather to get the memo – bring on the sunshine!
Within this month’s box, we’ve got a whole host of new beers for you! Not only do we get to introduce you to the beers that feature in this year’s Triple Summer Launch, but we’ve got two collabs and our latest exclusive release for Asda, hitting the shelves nationwide in the coming months!
We hosted the 8th edition of Paria Paperboy, welcoming over 350 cyclists to Springwell, celebrating with a juiced-up Hazy IPA for a
victory sip. Not only that, but we brewed the official beer for Leeds Jazz Festival – our collab with ATA Records.
And, with summer finally here, we’re about to hit the road for festivals up and down the country, and internationally too! We hope we’ll see some of your familiar faces amongst the crowds – be sure to give us a wave!

Hops Mosaic Cyro + Strata + Eclipse + HBC586
Canned 19 April 2024
A succulent and smooth full-bodied IPA. The addition of oats in the grist provides a pillowy base for the hops to really sing. Mosaic Cyro, Strata, Eclipse, and the experimental hop variety HBC586 command juicy, tropical flavours. A hint of sherbet fizz teases into thirst quenching pink grapefruit, zingy passion fruit, soft strawberry, nectarine and cantaloupe melon, with a gentle basil and herbaceous finish.

We are so proud to have brewed the official beer of Leeds Jazz Festival 2024. A hazy pale made in collaboration with ATA Records.
WHO ARE ATA RECORDS?
ATA Records are an independent record label based in Leeds. Founded in 2014, they specialise in releasing jazz, funk, soul, and world music. The label’s name “ATA” stands for “All Things Analogue”, reflecting their commitment to maintain a high standard of analogue recording and production techniques, both evolving and preserving that unique sound.
vintage music drove him to set up the label, supporting musicians from the local Leeds scene, as well as international artists.
THE BEER
Together we have brewed up a refreshing, soft, hazy pale ale that is super juicy. On a base of extra pale, chit malt and flaked oats, to bring a smooth, pillowy mouthfeel, we combined Nelson Sauvin, Belma, and Citra to bring on the juice. Zesty citrus aromas bring to light the flavours of juicy pineapple, soft honeydew melon, crisp white grape, and crushed gooseberry, finishing with a gentle and refreshing bitterness.
THE MUSIC
Available alongside this collab, and included in your box this month, is an exclusive release from Work, Money, Death – a collaborative project that brings together musicians represented by ATA Records. The band spans various genres, including jazz, funk, and soul, fostering creativity and improvisation, with a dynamic and eclectic sound.
We truly hope that you enjoy listening to this track whilst you crack open a can!
Neil, the founder of ATA Records, fell in love with the culture and haven for musicians that Leeds has to offer. Throughout the years, he has performed at many venues around the city, all the while amassing a fantastic collection of analogue recording equipment. NORTH X PARIA

Hops Motueka + Talus + Citra
We’ve teamed up with the fabulous Paria CC for the 8th year in a row, hosting over 350 people for our annual cycling sportive, Paria Paperboy! Cyclists from Yorkshire and afar take in the beautiful sights of West Yorkshire on a 60-mile round trip from our brewery and back, finishing with a victory beer at Springwell. You’ve never seen so many bikes and so much Lycra in one place!
As they take in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, we organise pit stops at both North Bar Harrogate and North Bar Social, for a little breather and respite. And yet again, the cycling gods were smiling down on us, granting beautiful sunshine and the perfect conditions for our riders to make this challenging journey on their two-wheeled road eating machines. Each year we brew up a delicious, juicedup IPA, guaranteed to quench the thirst of our riders and ease those aching muscles.
The recipe is always created with Paria CC’s undying love for IPA in mind, with Transmission being one of their favourites.
This year’s edition is fresh, vibrant and fruity. We’ve gone big with the body, loading the grist with extra pale, chit and oats to create a sumptuously smooth mouthfeel. The combination of Motueka, Talus and Citra hops create a tropical triad of mouthwatering flavours; notes of pineapple, honeydew melon, zesty pink grapefruit, soft coconut, white
peach, and finishing with a refreshingly light piney bitterness.
The perfect post-ride pint – and, whilst our riders were enjoying pints in the sunshine, the patrons of Hop City got a sneak taste before the official launch over at Northern Monk’s festival!

Style Triple Fruited Gose + Mango + Pineapple + Lime

Our 28th TFG is a celebration of summer! Bright, like the sunshine we are all hoping for, our signature slick, salty gose base has taken a tropical trip for this edition. Sweet mango, tangy pineapple and zesty lime balance beautifully to create this triple fruited gose, with a sherbet tang that is refreshingly tart and compliments the smoothie-like finish.

Piñata but not as you know it.
Our 2024 edition combines subtle, sweet strawberry with tangy, tropical lychee for a super crushable pale ale to enjoy in the sunshine.
This super light and refreshing edition of Piñata uses our classic base of extra pale, wheat and oats, with Belma added in the whirlpool for floral aromas. We take this and divide the base between two tanks: one gets loaded with almost a tonne of organic strawberry puree and lychee, whilst the other has been given Piñata’s signature dry hop. Delicate, summery and blush pink, like a Brit in the sun, and ready for the BBQ’s and picnics ahead!

Hops Lórien
Futura is a crisp, clean, and refreshing Italian Pilsner.
Using a simple base of Pilsner malt provides a bracing body, with subtle notes of freshly baked bread and a beautiful golden hue. We’ve chosen Lórien hops to compliment the malt, highlighting bright and vibrant notes of sweet hay, mouth-watering melon, wildflowers and a subtle citrus tang, that cleanses the palate and hurries you back for more.

A beer that needs no introduction, it’s Transmission, our beloved core range IPA! You know what they say about IPA? - Freshest is bestest! This Transmission is FRESH! Resinous pine, pithy pink grapefruit zest and fleshy ripe pineapple combines with a soft haze of juicy stone fruits and sweet mango. Transmission is an award-winning IPA and our core range headliner. A beer we’re incredibly proud of and one that stands up against the best brewing has to offer!

Not only did we have the most glorious weather for the first weekend of June, where we celebrated the first pour of our Triple Summer Launch with a BBQ, but we also welcomed over 100 runners for North Running Club!
But that’s not all – we’ve got a whole host of events planned for the summer at Springwell. As well as showing the Euro’s on our HUGE LED screen, we’ve got all of this planned…
