the local favourite watering hole is hosting a Queen of Hearts bash with DJ Mad Hatter. The night will be filled with drinks, dancing and prizes for best costume. Community leaders the Fraternal Order of Eagles also has a night of spooky fun planned. Make your way to the aerie located at 755 Tranquille Road. Gardengate is growing its 9th annual Pumpkins of Light. Join them in the garden for a scary evening of wandering on Thursday, October 30 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Hundreds of Jack O’ Lanterns carved by the community will illuminate your way. Of course, no Halloween season would be complete without a trip to Tranquille Farm Fresh. Tonight is the last night to get lost in acres upon acres of corn at the farm’s third corn maze in 150 years. Attend it in the dark from 5:30pm to 10:00pm. Dress in your best costume, bring your family and try to figure out what paths to take as you wander throughout the corn stalk jungle. Enjoy lights, spooky sounds and more. There are no shortages of themed events to celebrate the evening of spirits crossing over into the world of the living. Jody Tippett
