Let’s Go To the Theater Dance
臺中國家歌劇院「藝起進劇場」是每年校外藝文活動盛事， 提供師生專場，到訪劇場欣賞演出的體驗活動，透過親身 參與、實際體驗，探索多面向的表演藝術。2024 年「藝 起進劇場―舞蹈篇」邀請蒂摩爾古薪舞集合作，演出作品 《bulabulay mun ？》，透過獨特的編創及肢體語彙，帶領 學生領略當代舞蹈身體美學，也期望藉此活動培養青年學 子開放多元的學習能力，並啟發思考力、創造力及想像力。
NTT's annual off-campus Arts and Cultural Event, "Let's Go to the Theater," provides exclusive live performances and experiential activities for teachers and students at NTT's venue. This event offers an opportunity for participants to engage with diverse forms of performing arts through in-person experiences, fostering an appreciation for the multifaceted nature of the art form. In 2024, the "Let's Go to the Theater-Dance Section" collaborates with Tjimur Dance Theatre to present Bulabulay mun?. This performance showcases unique choreography and body language, encouraging students to contemplate the aesthetic aspects of contemporary dance. This activity aims to cultivate young adults with openmindedness and diverse learning abilities, stimulating their critical thinking, creativity, and imagination.

法國傳奇短笛大師尚－路易．玻瑪笛耶第 3 度訪臺音樂會， 將為觀眾們呈現超凡的短笛藝術。上半場為短笛與鋼琴二 重奏，下半場由許智惠教授指揮國立臺中教育大學音樂學 系管絃樂團，與玻瑪笛耶、張碩宇及李怡徹演出韋瓦第短 笛、雙短笛協奏曲、以及奇馬羅薩短笛與長笛協奏曲。

《遊．廣陵》石冰古琴獨奏會

因古琴悠久的歷史及其承載的千年文化，2003 年聯合國教 科文組織宣告中國古琴列入世界非物質文化遺產；《遊． 廣陵》將「廣陵派」之琴韻及與琴一樣的非物質文化遺產 如茶道、香道、書道搬上舞台，讓觀眾如置身古時文人之 中，感受文人的日常。同時也以琴樂展示自然變化，將一 年四季以琴韻及多媒體畫面展現給知音。
e "Guangling Wandering" guqin recital celebrates the timeless heritage of this ancient Chinese instrument, which has been recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2003. This concert not only showcases the unique melodies of the Guangling school but also integrates other intangible cultural heritage, such as the tea ceremony, incense lore, and calligraphy. By bringing these elements on stage, the audience is transported into the world of ancient literati, experiencing their daily lives and artistic pursuits. Moreover, "Guangling Wandering" utilizes the evocative melodies of the guqin with multimedia imagery to evoke the diverse beauties of nature and the transitions of the four seasons, o ering a multi-sensory journey for music enthusiasts.

The New Era of Copper-Reminiscent of Old Songs Series Ⅲ
BrassMen 樂團由一群臺灣銅管樂演奏家組成，致力於推廣 銅管音樂和新竹本土客家文化。2019 年，在中正紀念堂禮 堂舉辦《紀念老歌系列 I》，深受好評。由於疫情持續，被 迫推遲。現在疫情已緩解，為了擴大更多不同年齡層的受 眾，成員們開始討論。策劃一系列經典國、臺灣台語老歌的 目的，是為了吸引更多觀眾進入音樂廳來欣賞音樂，也讓 銅管樂器被更多人認識，達到一石二鳥的效果。
The BrassMen, a Taiwanese brass group, seeks to promote brass music and Hsinchu's Hakka culture. In 2019, they initiated the Memorial of Old Songs Series I at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, but it was postponed due to the epidemic. Now, as conditions improve, they plan to broaden their reach by organizing concerts featuring classic Mandarin and Taiwanese songs. Their goal is to attract diverse audiences, introduce brass instruments widely, and achieve a dual impact of cultural promotion and musical appreciation.

音樂是電影的靈魂，電影音樂亦是深受樂迷們喜愛的一種 音樂類型，藉著不同的樂曲編制，用音樂述說故事，當音 符響起的那一刻，彷彿又回到電影情節中，再次感受故 事裡的愛憎感動。台中市交響樂團本著推廣音樂的初衷， 每場演出規劃聽眾喜愛的主題，希望民眾能在自己熟悉旋 律的潛移默化中，慢慢了解交響樂的美，進而達到交響樂 推廣的效益。2024 年樂團規劃再次以電影為主題，以交 響樂團編制演奏各年代經典電影配樂，邀請民眾一起走進 大劇院，在交響樂團重新詮釋的樂曲中，找尋屬於記憶中 的感動。
Music is the soul of movies, and film music is also a type of music that is loved by music fans. It uses different compositions to tell stories with music. When the instruments sound, it seems that you have returned to the plot of the movie, and once again get the Feelings about story. In 2024, Taichung City Symphony Orchestra plans to once again use film music theme, using a symphony orchestra to perform classic movie soundtracks, inviting the public to visit the Grand Theater and find the touch of their own memories in the music reinterpreted by the symphony orchestra.

《神不在的小鎮》、《微醺大飯店》編導洪唯堯最新沉浸 式作品！《Sucks in the Middle》從臺中出發的「中」出發， 取材社會案件與臺中獨特文化，同時融合鬼故事與都市 傳說，跟隨建築的記憶，從日治建築到被火吞噬的中英 育樂中心，再到東協廣場的東南亞，試圖從城市黑暗處 呼應當代臺灣人「卡在中間」的處境，用「中度憂鬱」 的情緒訴說故事，邀請觀眾零距離站在舞台上。
Director HUNG Wei-yao, known for Lunatic Town and The Great Tipsy’, presents his latest immersive theater work, Sucks in the Middle! Starting from Taichung, the production explores the vanished Kingdom of Middag, the Papora, erotic business and underworld culture, ghost stories, urban legends, and the migrant workers at Taichung ASEAN Square. The attempt is to resonate with the contemporary plight of Taiwanese being “stuck in the middle.” The audience is invited onstage to traverse time and space, encountering people from different eras facing similar situations. It's an exploration of the past and an anxiety-laden journey into the future.

我們在失去白晝的當下，同時擁有了黑夜。
新媒體藝術家吳秉聖相信，人類的「感覺」，不論是生理 或心靈上，都是在掠奪與歸還的循環裡被建構出來。《感 覺的邊界》吳秉聖將聯手聲音藝術家暨知名 DJ 邱俊霖， 以及影像設計劉承杰，扭轉與顛覆劇場中的聲光效果； 透過 AI 技術、視覺動畫，模糊表演與觀者的界線，大膽 翻玩聲音與影像，讓觀眾可以恣意地在這座有生命的舞 台裡遊走，打造視聽交融、精神穿越的異次元空間。
When we lose the light of day, we gain the darkness of night. In New media artist WU Ping-sheng's view, whether in physical or spiritual terms, what we "sense" is built upon a cycle of taking and giving back. We construct our understanding of the universe and our surroundings by incorporating what we "sense" into knowledge. In The Boundary of Sense, WU Ping-sheng and noted DJ Andy CHIU join forces with multimedia designer Jie LIOU in a reimagining of theatrical audio and visual effects, allowing audiences to roam about on a stage brought to life with AI and animation, creating a sensation of "one for all and all for one."

下落不明；飛機失蹤後不久，里米尼紀錄劇團導演海爾 嘉德．郝珂的父親患上了失智症，先忘了孫子生日，接 著忘了自己是誰。《All right. Good night.》透過失蹤且仍 未找到客機殘骸，與身體健在卻失去記憶的父親，探討 不可逆的消失、尋找，以及面對不確定性的掙扎，譜寫 一曲溫柔悲傷的「詩」去之作。
All right. Good night. parallels the enigmatic disappearance of MH370, a Malaysia Airlines flight and the director's father's battle with dementia. The story explores the profound concept of vanishing and the relentless quest for answers and weaves a poignant narrative of loss and uncertainty and confronts the absence of human presence. In this captivating experience, the theater transforms into a realm where thoughts, memories, the stark theater apparatus, and hauntingly beautiful music interlace to provide solace in the face of inexplicable disappearances.

對編舞家余彥芳來說，很直覺，她記得爸爸怎麼動。每一個 人的身體裡都有一些明確的記憶或是符號。基因也好、慣 性模式也好，其實藏有許多關於人種、性別或家族的記憶 與痕跡。編舞家余彥芳以獨舞融合戲劇的形式，拆解並重 組對於父親的個人記憶與記憶符碼，從揣摩父親的日常語 言、行為動作到講話神態，透過舞蹈提取在記憶裡最深藏 的思念，如同用自己的身體，去承載父親的呼吸。
How do you keep hold of memories of bereavement? In every one of us lies traces and memories of who we are, whether it be our genes, or simply a habit of ours. In this part drama, part solo dance, YU Yen-fang deconstructs and reconstructs signs and symbols relating to personal memories of her father by imitating her father’s oral and body language, using her body in dance to breathe as one with him. Projected video and sounds recorded at her father’s old wooden seal shop draw audiences into the intimate, personal space that helped shape the memories and experiences of her life.

My Father’s World & Frozen
東大附中小學部 3 至 6 年級所組成的合唱 AB 團，透過歌 舞訓練後掌握樂曲風格，將選粹曲目之精采片段，以各種 不同的藝術因子，做出傳神、流暢的表達，提供一場餘 音繞梁的心靈饗宴。由二聲部爵士樂《天父世界》揭開 序幕。以《給孩子們的簡單聖歌》接續耶穌降生的故事。 最後以合唱、戲劇與舞蹈結合，以選粹方式呈現知名迪 士尼音樂劇《冰雪奇緣》。
The choir, consisting students from grades three to six, has mastered the musical style through singing and physical development training. They will present captivating segments of selected pieces, using various artistic elements to create expressive and fluent performances, providing a lingering spiritual feast. The opening will be a jazz piece presented in a in two-part harmony called My Father’s World. And then it will be followed by Simple Sacred Songs for Children, which tells the story of the birth of Jesus. In the second half, the chorus, drama, and dance will be combined to present selected segments from the well-known Disney musical Frozen

英國音像藝術家，享譽國際的電 子音樂人，擁有英國諾丁漢大學 生物資訊博士學位，在 2007 年 初入樂壇時，嘗試透過裝置、現 場表演、身臨其境的沉浸式體 驗，將電子音樂、視覺藝術與學 術背景相結合。他的創作具有人 文關懷，曾在聯合國氣候變化大 會上演出，也是首位在雅典衛城 表演的 Techno 音樂人。

反覆欣賞著 Max Cooper 作品，一時片刻，映入腦海的都是與朋友們相聚的畫面回放。 再次咀嚼之後，心中不禁想起，當初為了避免觸景傷情， 暗自把有機會在臺灣見著此番 光景的想法排除在外。不過該來的，就是會來！這位擁有英國諾丁漢大學生物資訊博士 學位， 2007 年開始鑽研電子音樂與視覺影像的藝術鬼才，轉眼間今年 5 月就要來到臺 中國家歌劇院，向臺灣樂迷展示他近 17 年來所吸收的日月精華。
Max Cooper 的作品實在很難以文字描繪，且與我在字裡行間一起回味他的種種經典。
近年首選！單曲〈 Spike 〉與《 Unspoken Words 》的深刻印象
綜覽近 4 年來的作品，讓我最多次重複按下播放鍵的單曲是 2020 年 EP《Earth》中的 〈Spike〉，此作品邀請旅居紐約的日本音樂與多媒體藝術家袖岡由英（ Yoshi Sodeoka） 製作影像，呈現有如顯微鏡奇觀視界中不斷相互交融的迷幻物質。點綴著 Max Cooper 作品中較為罕見的黑暗氛圍，是特別有趣而抓耳的一首曲子。
2022 年第 7 張專輯《Unspoken Words》中的〈Solace In Structure〉，頗有向英式風格 d&b（drum and bass）回潮致敬的意味。這首曲子融合天然興奮劑般的清脆碎拍，以及 義大利藝術家 Donato Sansone 由音波細節幻化成的線性幾何圖案，讓人耳目一新。

聊到近期最致幻的選擇，可別錯過〈Exotic Contents〉。這部音像作品以
Max Cooper 的音樂結合另類成像手法，讓觀賞者感受人類在深度冥想或長 時間禁食期間，才有機會體驗到的極幻視感。特別的是，製作團隊在此作品 YouTube 影片時間軸上，標記出片段的章節名稱，給大家一點索引來理解畫面 中的奧祕意境。同時，也透過這些命題，表達藝術家對人類文明以及生死議題 的切身感受。〈Exotic Contents〉影像上的突破，得歸功於 Max Cooper 又一次 的跨領域嶄新合作，影像導演 Xander Steenbrugge 同時也是人工智慧機器學習 （Machine Learning）的軟硬體專家。
McGloughlin 兄弟締造的馬克斯宇宙巔峰
流量多寡未必能直接說明作品的藝術含量，但卻能顯示打破同溫層的關鍵 一刻。細數 Max Cooper 多部 MV 的播放成績，率先被關注的是 2019 年由愛 爾蘭導演 Kevin McGloughlin 打造的〈 Repetition 〉，蔚為 Max Cooper 音樂影 像流量之最。
彼時創新的影像描繪技法，例如：無限延伸的虛擬實境，充分利用縮時攝影、 慢快門與極致剪輯等，備受樂迷廣傳。其後，荷蘭電子音樂團體 Weval 的作品 〈 Someday 〉中，影像由 Kevin 的親兄弟 Páraic McGloughlin 執導，延伸採用
類似的概念手法，同為突破數百萬觀賞的流量大作，他們無疑是 Max Cooper 拓展聲量的好夥伴！ Max Cooper 其他作品，例如〈 Swarm 〉、〈 Circular 〉也 同步將他的名字推向新的境地。

視與聽的強烈聯覺 締造標誌性電音美學霸主
從 MV 畫面到現場呈現，頂級又親民的視聽饗宴，絕對是 Max Cooper 的一大 賣點。在 2020 年底疫情期間，他回到家鄉北愛爾蘭首都貝爾法斯特（Belfast） 的老教堂 Carlisle Church 進行一場空前絕後的演出側錄。透過覆蓋全舞台的巨 型投影點燃視覺特效，讓觀賞者不斷穿梭於虛實之間。他將歷年作品的影像重 現其中，變成一幅幅不可思議的動態藝術品。在其中，我們能看到標誌性單曲 〈Spike〉的顯微鏡視界，還有〈Swarm〉的迷幻拼貼不斷從教堂大廳裡蔓延開來。
思緒拉回臺灣，腦中浮現的是提倡環保議題的電子廠牌「泊人 ANKR」， 持續奔走於山海與城市之間；而蟄伏在臺北地下俱樂部 FINAL 的雙人團體 LUDU 也再一次火力全開。從實驗電子藝術家 Meuko! Meuko! 到 eel Festival 音 樂節，新媒體藝術團隊 NAXS Crop.、XTRUX 也相繼崛起，這些創作者與演出 活動昇華了我們的審美觀。種種在地光彩，不勝枚舉、不容錯過的本地音樂人 與團體，也映照著 Max Cooper 在國際舞台上的里程碑。
重新品鑑著他最為細緻的智慧舞曲美學，與身為藝術家的理性與浪漫。寫到 這裡，那股濃濃的期待油然而生。我們終於不用癡癡地坐在螢幕前窺探一二， 或存筆大旅費飛去各國搶票。5 月 28 日，Max Cooper 這一位柔情又多才的電 音美學霸主，將來到臺中國家歌劇院，帶給我們一場永生難忘的迷幻盛會。
