You will work together with the Senior Learning Mentor, to identify together with pupils who would benefit from learning mentor support and discuss concerns with teachers and phase Leaders

Ensuring the transition from one phase to another is smooth and that pupils receive continuity of support where appropriate. This could involve liaison with pre-school providers and secondary schools.

Having achieved an Ofsted Outstanding grade in all areas last December (2023), Brampton Primary School is looking to recruit a Site Supervisor to work on weekends and evenings to support with the school lettings.

Brampton Primary is a popular, successful and inclusive four-form school set in East Ham, and we have a large premises site which will allow the community and external companies to hire the school in the evenings and weekends.

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Site Supervisor for our extensive school site to support the opening and securing of the premises during evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will initially work a minimum of 14 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours based on the school’s requirements.

The role includes weekend work, with an initial schedule requiring the Site Supervisor to work every Saturday from 8:30 am to 11:00 am (2.5 hours), with the remaining hours to be completed during the week. Please note, the successful candidate must be willing and available to work both evenings and weekends.

As a key holder, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the school premises are securely locked at the end of each shift, maintaining the safety and security of the site. We are looking for a hard-working and approachable individual to become part of our school community. The ideal candidate should be capable of performing basic DIY and maintenance tasks and should be able to work independently, taking initiative when necessary. Ronald Openshaw Nursery School is looking for a highly motivated practitioner to support teachers and pupils in the delivery of quality teaching and learning through play with children with SEND.

Key Tasks

• Work as part of the SEND team, under the direction of the SENDCo.

Ronald Openshaw Nursery Education Centre is a small nursery school situated in the heart of Stratford with excellent transport links. Open 38 weeks per year. It is a busy, warm and friendly environment and we would like our site supervisor to be part of a whole team commitment.

Main requirements:

•Maintenance and upkeep of premises and grounds, undertaking repairs or liaising with contract services to ensure that the highest standards of Health and Safety are upheld at all times

•Drawing on basic handy person skills in regards to plumbing, carpentry and glazing

•Ensuring the highest cleaning and hygiene standards are maintained

•Responsibility for site security, alarm systems and key holding arrangements

•Inputting job relevant data onto online systems

•Good communication and organisation skills to ensure the start and finish of tasks to support the smooth running of the school

You will be working 36 hours per week on a split shift basis. Although the time pattern is negotiable, you will need to open the school in the morning and lock up in the evening (between 6am and 6.00pm). You should be flexible and adaptable and be on-call for emergencies.
