Camp sizes are limited. Receive a 10% discount on each camp if you register by May 1, 2020. Register for all eight weeks of the Little Summer Saints camp to receive a 15% discount!
Camp Overview Lunch/Snacks: Little Summer Saints campers will need to pack their own nut-free lunch Monday through Thursday and will have a pizza party on Fridays! Summer Saints and CITs will need to pack a lunch Monday through Friday unless otherwise notified. A healthy snack will be provided in the morning and afternoon for all campers.
Extended Day: Extended day options are available for an additional fee. Morning care is available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. for $35 per week, and afternoon care is available from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for $75 per week. If both services are needed, the combination of morning and extended care is $100 per week. Drop-in morning care is available for $10 per day, and extended care drop-in is also available for $20 a day.
Transportation: Free bus service from the Harbour View Campus to the Main Campus is available. For an additional fee, one way ($50) and round-trip ($100) transportation is also available to the Main Campus each week. Service areas include Chesapeake Square, Bennett’s Creek and Benns Church. Buses pick up campers between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and drop off campers between 3:15 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. Pick-up and drop-off times will be established once ridership is confirmed.

Little
Summer Saints Our Little Summer Saints will learn, grow and play all summer. Each themed week explores science, math and literary activities that appeal to young children to make summer learning fun! Every Wednesday is water day where the Little Summer Saints enjoy water play. On Fridays, campers are encouraged to dress-up to match the weekly theme!

Pirates and Mermaids
Future Workers
Ahoy ye pirates and mermaids! Join the captain and crew for an adventurous week of pirate and mermaid-themed activities.
Policeman, fireman, nurse, doctor… what do you want to be when you grow up? Campers will learn what it will be like to be a future community worker.
Superheroes and Princesses
Sports Week
Caped crusaders and friends, join us for a week of superhero and princess training. Get ready to rule the kingdom of your imagination!
Running, jumping, skipping, batting, throwing and catching will be the focus this week. To celebrate the start of the Summer Olympics, campers will participate in a fun week full of sporting events.

Come celebrate and learn about America’s birthday. We will create decorations and use musical instruments for a campwide parade at the end of the week!

Summer Saints Campers in rising grades one through eight have many opportunities to pursue their interests or discover new talents. Each week, campers will choose their morning and afternoon activities. Athletic, arts and academic options will be available, such as minute-to-win-it games, baseball, volleyball, pottery, animal lovers and much more! Class options and descriptions will be available online. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, they will travel to the Lake Meade Community Pool for fun in the sun. On Wednesdays, they will travel off campus to exciting destinations like Dave & Buster’s and Ocean Breeze Waterpark. The week culminates with a Friday festival—a carnival-like event that includes sweet treats, water battles, lip sync competitions and a costume contest.

Fee: $250* per week 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. *June 29–July 2 (Week 3) the fee is $200
Rising Grades 9–11* Students may apply to the Counselor-in-Training program (CIT) and may attend camp at a discounted rate. They will assist the teachers and counselors in the camp of their choice and will have a lot of fun at the same time! Please visit our website to complete the CIT application prior to registering. Upon acceptance as a CIT, a discount code will be provided that can be used during registration. *Excludes specialty camps

Do you want to learn how to shoot like the pros? In this fun and exciting camp, participants will be introduced to the sport of target archery. Come and join us as we travel to the Izaak Walton private park each day to learn the basics and safety precautions for archery. Campers at different skill levels will enjoy a day in the great outdoors and possibly the occasional trip to the park lake for a round of fishing! Campers will be trained by the certified park volunteers.
Whether you are a novice surfer or a shredder looking to take your skills to the next level, WRV’s unique program and expert staff will help you do it! Campers will travel to the Virginia Beach oceanfront each day to work with WRV’s team of highly qualified and CPR certified surf instructors. They will pass along their love of surfing in an unforgettable experience that is safe, fun and rewarding!
All equipment will be provided, but participants are recommended to wear comfortable shorts or pants, closed-toed athletic shoes, short-sleeve shirts or snug-fitting long-sleeve shirts. Campers can also bring their own bows if desired.
Equestrian Camp
Week 5: July 13–17 Rising Grades 4–8 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Fee: $300 Campers will travel to Foxtail Farm in Smithfield for a day of fun with horses. They will participate in a daily group riding lesson and a horse care activity. No previous experience is required!

Kim Aston’s Shooting Star Basketball Camp emphasizes the development of fundamental skills. Daily instruction and station work are designed to encourage mastery of basic skills. The campers will be separated according to age and skill development to compete in games. Lunch will be provided for each camper. Golf and Tennis Camp at Cedar Point Country Club Week 7: July 27–31 Rising Grades 2–8 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Fee: $300
Learn the basics of these two high-energy sports from the pros at Cedar Point Country Club. Campers will travel to Cedar Point Country Club for their lessons and will learn the skills and techniques of both sports before returning to NSA in the afternoons. Participants are encouraged to bring their own tennis rackets and clubs as well as a water bottle or sports drink.
This entry-level class is a weeklong, full-day program that introduces campers to the basics of sailing. Campers will travel to the Hampton Yacht Club to learn basic rigging fundamentals, seamanship and water safety from the US Sailing certified staff. Every Thursday, campers will experience a marine science day. Lunch will also be included each day of camp! Required equipment: Life jacket with a whistle attached, closed-toed shoes, water bottle, sunscreen, towel and a bathing suit
Sailing Camp at the Hampton Yacht Club: Double Handed I Week 8: August 3–7 Ages 13–18 7:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. | Fee: $400 This entry-level camp is a weeklong, full-day program that is for new sailors or for sailors graduating from the Optis who are interested in participating in high school sailing. Campers will travel to the Hampton Yacht Club to learn basic rigging fundamentals, seamanship (knots and weather), water safety, sportsmanship and confidence in sailing all points of sail from the US Sailing certified staff. This class will be taught on new RS Fevas (a two-person sailing dinghy). Lunch will also be included each day of camp! Required equipment: Life jacket with a whistle attached, closed-toed shoes, water bottle, sunscreen, towel and a bathing suit
