Building as Learning Aid
Have you ever thought that a building itself can give students learning feedback? There are many examples of buildings that help students get involved in their learning processes and engage them to build learning communities.
Blended Learning
We are in the 21st Century, our students spend as much time online as they do offline. Blended education aims to bring together these two worlds, in which students and teachers use digital tools to improve their performance.
Cooperative Learning
If in the professional world we usually work in teams, why wouldn’t we do it at all learning levels? Cooperative Learning teaches our students skills that go beyond the subject being taught.
Design Thinking
Five stages to learn how to think out the box, to get a solution based approach to solving problems. In other words; solve a task using all your knowledge making it visible through design. Get your students engaged with the joy of using knowledge.
Digital Pedagogy
Technology provides us with a set of tools that help us (teachers and professors) change our traditional one-direction teaching methods, into learning experiences where the students are the main characters of their learning.
Flipped Classroom
What would happen if we reverse the traditional masterclass into a flipped model in which students prepare for the lesson and it’s thanks to the professor that they use the knowledge gained in the classroom?
Gamification
Applying game-design elements and game principles in non-game context is being done in many educational institutions. Boost your students motivation and engagement with this active learning methodology.
Multiple Intelligences
Howard Gardner proposed this model back in 1983, nowadays it’s been taken into education. We all have specific modalities when it comes to understanding. Bring this to your classroom, understand how your students see the world and tailor you lessons
Neuroeducation
Educational Neuroscience is clearly an emerging field. Neuroscientists, educators and psychologists are teaming up to get the keys of learning. Bring this information into your classroom, and customize your lessons to improve your student’s performance.
Problem Based Learning
Problem Based Learning (PbBL) is a student-centered pedagogy in which students learn about a subject through the experience of solving an open-ended problem found in trigger material, with the guidance of the professor.
Project Based Learning
Project Based Learning (PjBL) prepares students for academic, personal, and career success, and readies young people to rise to the challenges of their lives and the world they will inherit.
Science Technology Engineering Arts & Maths
The end results of STEAM students are the ones who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process.
Thinking Based Learning
Robert Swartz proposes Thinking Based Learning (TBL) as a methodology that help us teach students how to integrate thinking skills, habits of mind, procedures‌ to make learning a conscious activity. A holistic approach to enhace education.
WORKSHOPS
Most workshop are divided in three one-hour sessions: đ&#x;“Ž Welcome and introduction to the topic. đ&#x;“Ž Explanation of the methodology, examples and possibilities depending on the professors/teachers needs. đ&#x;“Ž Mock-up. Proposal to define how to land the methodology in the classroom. Every client is different, Broad experience with all teaching levels and a wide variety of educators and professor. Sharing my passion for education.
therefore all the workshops are tailored according to the given context.
