First off thank you all for the hard work ever club had done over the past couple months! The service quickly coming to an end and I have had a great time serving as your Lieutenant Governor! Some quick reminders, please hold your officers elections by the end of February this allow you to send your new board to LTC to be trained for their upcoming position. As well as please take a look at the last couple Moose Minutes and Promotion/ running for higher office emails. There is lots of important information in those emails that needs to be passed down to your members!

With Love Kyle Earle

Lieutenant Governor Elect My name is Alexandria (Alex for short) I am 16 years old and a student at Carthage. I am a military child so I have lived in many places, including 3 different states and South Korea. I love learning new languages and am currently learning French, Spanish, Welsh, and Greek. I grew up with three siblings who are all huge nerds. We all love Star Trek, Harry potter, Lord of the rings, etc. I participate in MANY clubs in my school, including French club, Film club, FBLA, and of course Key club. In my free time I enjoy reading or exercising. I particularly love classical books written by Austen and Dickens.

Service Spotlight D24 As the Holiday season began we at Ogdensburg Free Academy’s Key Club knew that we wanted to hold a fun and exciting event to celebrate Christmas. In Ogdensburg about 18.4% of our population lives in poverty, which, considering our population is about 10,000, means 1,840 live in poverty. Many kids in our school district qualify for free and reduced lunches. We wanted to provide a free opportunity for kids in our community to celebrate, which is why we decided on hosting a Christmas themed event called SantaLand. From the first mention of SantaLand during the summer to late November SantaLand developed into a community wide event. Our original plan was to have a movie playing in our local school auditorium and hand out popcorn, but that idea was unfortunately thrown out the window as the school’s play was scheduled around the same time. Ultimately, we decided to hold the event in our school's cafeteria. We provided lots for the children to do. The main attraction, meeting Santa Clause, was facilitated by one of our members, Azin Paige, whose dad volunteered to play the part of the famous character. Along with that we had reindeer food, hot chocolate, an assortment of different arts and crafts for the kids to do. We also had short movies playing in a nearby classroom and had one of our members read aloud Christmas books. This event has had the most participation out of all our events thus far and consequently was a major success. With over 100 children in attendance over the two hour event we are definitely considering holding it again next year. Our members were outstanding and we couldn’t have done it without them.text
