Magnus Lindberg Composer-in-Residence Alan Gilbert has appointed Finnish composer Magnus Lindberg as the Philharmonic’s Composer-in-Residence. He will contribute three World and U.S. Premieres to our season, which will also be performed on our tours of Southeast Asia and Europe. In addition, Lindberg will conduct a Contact concert of World Premieres and will lead education and outreach activities with audiences and with young New York-area composers.
