Changemakers for Peace, Peacemakers for Change The artworks featured in this 2015 Peace Calendar were created by multicultural young people aged 5-19 years. They are winning entries from among the 90 submissions for the 2014 Schools’ Peace Week Arts4Peace Contest organised by The Peace Foundation. These young artists’ visions of a peaceful world are clearly and creatively expressed in their artworks. Each month features a different piece with relevant dates to commemorate peace events in New Zealand and internationally. “Colour, lines, symbols, words and images of these young artists were so fresh and meaningful.” ~ Margaret Bartlett, Contest Judge. “The freshness and innocence of children expressing their understanding of peace, delights and touches the heart. Bursts of colour, intricate imagery, bold lines, delicate drawings: lots of variety and cultural diversity.” ~ Dale Hunter, Contest Judge. Proudly sponsored by:
