Monterey Membership

FOR ADULTS 50+

The Monterey Membership allows members to take advantange of the activities, discounts and opportunites listed here. Membership fees are paid to Oak Bay Parks, Recreation and Culture for Club and Committee Room use.

Monterey Recreation Activity Association (MRAA)

The Monterey Recreation Activity Association (MRAA) is a non-profi t association off ering educational, physical activity and social opportunities for adults aged 50 and over. Our members take part in many activities:

• Social Clubs for Adults 50+, some clubs with additional fees. • Low–income membership subsidies. • Access to discussion groups and free talks. • Volunteer Opportunities: –Club Representatives. –Fundraising that includes Bazaar, Rummage Sale, and Planned Giving with tax receipts. • Financial donations support MRAA and

Monterey activities and furnishings.

Monterey Recreation Centre (MRC)

• 15% discount on select courses, events, and outings. • Volunteer Opportunities in Food

Services and Reception. • Nursing Footcare, Volunteer Blood

Pressure and Income Tax assistance for qualifying low-income Members. • LIFE Program–discounts for qualifying low-income participants. • Parking decals to extend parking for participants $13.25 +GST. • Members recieve a 10% discount on the Oak Bay Recreation Annual Pass.
