January 2017 Clients, Partners, and Friends; This is an introduction email to our year-end brochure. This year, we are going exclusively to an electronic version in order to be able to expand the content a bit, gain a farther reach, save money, and be socially responsible to save resources. We hope this will be an enhancement and even more interesting to you and we hope you enjoy it. 2016 was a pretty good year for Owen Ames Kimball. We have added several good people to our team and many of our younger talent have moved up in our organization as they have taken on more responsibilities and challenges. Where many have stepped up, most notably are: Mathew Zwack became our General Superintendent in 2014 and joined our board of directors this year. Abel Natali increased his roles in estimating and project management oversight as well as joined our board of directors. Jan Prindle became our Vice President overseeing our accounting department, IT, and HR. We had many good projects. We have continued to do many aviation projects which, has further solidified our rather unique niche in that market. We have been doing a large percentage of our total volume in the heavy civil market. This has overall served us well. We have been fortunate to continue our great relationships with ongoing clients plus adding a few new clients in the vertical and renovation markets, this is probably our life’s blood and to those clients we are truly indebted. Our goals would never be achieved without constant support from our subcontractors that day in and day out provide their services at a fair rate, on time, and with great quality. We have always maintained that we all have to work together for the betterment of us all or we will surely fall separately. With the current market demand for qualified trades people, it has never been more true. We have worked with numerous design teams over the course of the year and really believe we have strengthened all those relationships. As general contractors and construction managers, we can only be as good as the architects and engineers we work with. This year we have been blessed with working with some great ones. We appreciate you all more than you know. Out of the proceeds of the years’ work, our Community Support Committee was able to give a helping hand to more organizations this year and the employees of the company were able to fund the United Way campaign 100% and increased giving by over 6%. Our local United Way is and has been instrumental in vetting and funding inclusively local charities in our area. At Owen Ames Kimball, we are looking forward to yet a better 2017 in every way, due in most part to all of you. We are truly grateful and look forward to talking with all of you throughout the coming year. All the Best,
David Dale and the entire O-A-K team
