In the export statistics, the largest group of exported furniture from Poland are fixed components of furniture, which can be identified as a self-assembly furniture. In 2016 their value took over EUR 2.7 billion with the export share of 29.25%. Next in the group ranking, the same as last year are upholstered furniture, as well as furniture designed to the dining room and living room. Their value exceeded EUR 2.57 billion and EUR 1.8 billion, respectively. Next group is bedroom furniture with the export value of EUR 613 million. The opportunity for Polish furniture industry Poland is one of the fastest developing countries in the field of furniture industry. The excellent geographical location of Poland situated in the neighborhood of rich Western European countries has a huge impact on that. Hence the competitive advantage over the Far East countries.
