The Reinvention of this magazine has gone into full effect beginning of 2019. I’ve been running this magazine from the inside and out for 9 years straight. A lot of work, time and dedication goes into every inch of it. Coming into my ninth year, I needed to figure out how to continue managing the business on my own — with numerous hours of research and continuous trial and errors, I’ve devised a method that works for me. Each issue I make sure its strength and vision are clear. What I look for stylistically is more specific than it’s ever been. And why is that? After nine years of running this on my own, I’ve changed, matured and my style has grown. With that, my standard is heightened. There are no more call for submissions for print. As this magazine has matured with me, I am beginning to strategize how to expand outside the box a bit and with that, I need to become more selective. So this issue was a surprise to you all, and I love that. I want to surprise you more with special issues and collaborations without knowing what is coming up. Another announcement, we’re moving from a bi-annual

publication to an annual publication. Why is that? To make room for other collaborations and for us to hone into making each printed issue the best it can be. I am so thrilled for you to flip through each page of this issue — digitally or in your hands. Each contributor has created beautiful work and I’m so honored for their editorials to be part of our publication. When we feature their work, please share and credit them. They are incredible talent that deserve the spotlight. And that has always been our mission to provide talented creatives with a spotlight to take the next step in the work they create.
