Costa da Caparica is one of the most relevant locations in portuguese surfing. Despite being
absent from the league’s schedule for over 10 years, it was where the first professional portuguese surf tour started.
The swell forecast for the first stop of the MOCHE League, the MEO Caparica Pro by Rip Curl, wasn’t the best but a good sandbar who had been “sitting” at CDS beach for a few weeks secured good waves throughout the event.
