Sue and Jeremy Creed grew up in Toronto and were part of some storied local businesses like the elegant Bloor Street store, Creeds. Deans Carpet One Floor & Home has been in business for 59 years. A third generation, floor covering business that was started in 1963 by Dean Lougheed. His son Michael Lougheed took over in 1996 and his two children, Sarah joined the business in 2003, and Justin joined in 2008.
Michael Lougheed, who is the president of Deans, has over 42 years of experience and expertise in the flooring industry. Michael, along with his incredible sales team and installers, focuses on offering a quality buying experience from start to finish. “We provide detailed quotations with drawings to clearly outline all the details of installation,” says Michael.
“As the owners of our business it is important to us that we operate with integrity. We strive to create a welcoming, open and honest environment for our staff and customers,” says Michael.
We recently renovated our Duntroon store. In doing so we were able to display some of the newest hardwood and carpet styles on our showroom floor. Both Duntroon (10,000 s.f. of showroom) and Meaford (over 3,000 s.f. of showroom) stores have a huge selection of floor coverings, carpet, hardwood, tile, laminate, luxury vinyl, area rugs and window coverings. They offer in-home consultation, free quotations and installation services for all products.
