The Future The Future Future Plans for Academics a. MD/MS in Basic Sciences KMC is currently doing a Bridge Course for BDS graduates. We hope then to start Masters Degree in all Basic Sciences. b. Dental As no medical college seems complete without its own dental surgery program, KMCTH is eagerly looking forward to introducing the same in the near future. c. Intermediate in Nursing As part of its commitment to creating new opportunities in the field of professional health care, KMC is in the process of introducing Intermediate in Nursing in the near future. This course will help to promote nursing as an integral part of the medical world and to establish a more specialized approach towards the profession. d. BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Lab Technology) One of the proposed courses at KMC is the BMLT. This highly specialized course is essential in producing medical professionals with expert knowledge on how to run and manage all sorts of labs and machinery. Such professionals are not only valuable to the smooth functioning of a medical institution but also very highly in demand.

g. Hospital Management This includes courses that will help the institution to operate in an organized manner and to offer its services more effectively.

Future plans for the Hospital Geriatric Centre A separate geriatric centre has also been proposed. This centre will provide special health care services to old and ageing patients. Recuperation Centre Patients with special ailments who have undergone treatment but are not fit for discharge will be transferred to this recuperation centre for the duration of their recovery. KMCTH also hopes to start a new recuperation centre in the near future.

e. Radiologist Radiology is another technical course that involves a high degree of specialization and formal training. KMC's course in radiology will not only give an individual the requisite knowledge to operate a radiology lab but also to apply that knowledge in the service of mankind through accurate diagnosis and useful research. f. Physiotherapists To cater to the increasing demand of physiotherapists in the country, KMCTH has proposed several courses in this field as well.
