The Neighborhood Launch Vision

Neighborhood Launch is the vision of Columbus developer Jeff Edwards who wanted to bring a chic and hip urban neighborhood to downtown Columbus. The masterplan for Neighborhood Launch encompasses nine city blocks of underutilized space that will be transformed into a neighborhood of brownstone style condominium homes and apartments comprised of townhomes, flats and bridge lofts. Amenities include garage parking, personal green spaces, tree-lined boulevards, miles of wrought-iron fencing, and seven parks with water-features.

Tax Abatement

Tired of paying those high taxes? Neighborhood Launch offers a 75%, ten-year real estate tax abatement, saving you thousands of dollars per year.

Why Live Downtown: Save Time, Energy and Money

Ask any of our residents to share the benefits they have found making the move downtown: • A shorter commute means more time to spend on hobbies, cooking, relaxing and socializing. • Driving your car less means you save gas. • Right-sizing your residence reduces your energy bills. • You’ll have more leisure time, as you are no longer responsible for taking care of all the yard work and home maintenance. • Finally, save money by simplifying your life.

APARTMENTS ADDED TO RESIDENTIAL MIX COMING SUMMER 2013

Neighborhood Launch has announced the next phase of its development in downtown Columbus: cutting-edge luxury apartments. The apartments will be built on Long Street at the northern edge of Neighborhood Launch. These upscale apartments will be housed in two, five-story buildings featuring a total of 260 one- and two-bedroom units with balconies and underground parking. Construction is expected to commence on the first 130 apartments by late June and completed by the summer of 2013.

Pictured here is the Columbus Bicentennial Pavilion, the signature capital project for the city’s 200th year of existence and the crowning glory of Columbus Commons. It will bring the entire central Ohio community to the heart of the city for live concerts and entertainment. The pavilion opens May 24th with a free concert featuring Michael McDonald. For more information visit ColumbusCommons.org.

NEIGHBORHOOD LAUNCH NEWS - ISSUE 5 - SPRING 2012

The design and quality of the apartment building will be compatible with the overall look and feel of other buildings at Neighborhood Launch. Brian Kent Jones, who also designed Bishops Walk, the Park and Fourth Street buildings, is designing the exterior of the apartment buildings. Edwards Communities Construction Company will oversee construction. About 70 percent of the apartments will be one-bedroom or efficiency units. The average apartment will be 800 square feet in size, about 25 percent smaller than the 1,100-square-foot average size condos built at Neighborhood Launch.
