1.4 MILLION TOURISTS VISITED MALDIVES IN 2018 1,484,274 tourists visited Maldives in 2018, according to statistics released by the Tourism Ministry of Maldives. This is a 6.8% increase in comparison with the number of tourists who visited in 2017.

The highest number of tourists were from Europe, occupying 48.9%, which equals to 726,420 tourists. The second highest percentage of tourists visited from Asia and the Pacific, taking up 41.9% or 621,438 visitors.
