The eSports or pro-gaming phenomenon has been gaining considerable traction within the iGaming industry, thanks to the emergence of companies such as Unikrn, Alphadraft, and Vulcun last year. Now, people can now wager on which team will win in head-to-head tournaments where they play League of Legends (LoL), DoTA II, or other well-known multiplayer video games. A new popular form of sports betting, eSports wagering isn't going to fade away soon.
This is only proof of how far eSports have come since 1980, where betting on video game competitions wasn't even a concept.
