BROADWAY SEASON SPONSORED BY

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT & CEO WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES! In December of 2020, the Orpheum Theatre Group was hosting mini golf on the stage of our historic venue! The idea of mini golf grew out of necessity; we could not hold live performances on our stage. While we are proud that we were able to creatively address the trials of the pandemic, mini golf is not the purpose for which our stage was built. Now in December of 2021, we welcome the biggest Broadway hit in decades, Hamilton, back to our theatre. Making sure shows like Hamilton are presented in downtown Memphis is the purpose for which our stage was built. Nothing could make us happier. The twelve months between last December and this has been full of ups and downs for the Orpheum and Halloran Centre. Through it all, we had one constant that kept us moving forward – the support of hundreds of individuals who invested in our work. We are so happy that progress has been made in fighting COVID-19 and we are able to welcome you to the theatre for live performances. However, as a non-profit institution, our need for your support has not ceased. As you make your year-end giving plans, please consider including the Orpheum Theatre Group in your donations. Your generosity makes it possible for us to reach thousands of Mid-South young people each year with our varied educational programs. Your support allows us to introduce new entertainment options into our schedule, like the Illusions Series starting next month at the Halloran Centre. Your investment ensures the Orpheum Theatre, which has stood at the corner of Main and Beale for ninety-three years, will be here for future generations of Memphians. Especially exciting this year is the opportunity to double your gift! Our dedicated Board of Directors has created a matching gift fund that will allow your gift to go farther and do more. Every dollar you donate will be matched from this fund. This special matching opportunity doubles your impact and makes your donation twice as important to the theatre. I hope you will remember the Orpheum Theatre Group this month with a year-end donation. Our audiences thank you. Our students thank you. I thank you. With gratitude,

Brett Batterson President & CEO Orpheum Theatre Group P.S. - Year-end is an ideal time to make a gift of appreciated stock or a qualified charitable distribution from your IRA. For more information, visit orpheum-memphis/support or contact Tracy Trotter, Vice President of Development, at (901) 529-4299.

GUEST ETIQUETTE

As a courtesy to the performers and patrons, latecomers will be seated at an appropriate break in the performance. No text messaging, photography, or recording. The light from your phone is a distraction to those seated around and above you. Do not talk or whisper during the performance. Be conscientious about the noise you make. You may be distracting or disturbing the patrons around you and the actors on stage. Certain productions may not be suitable for all ages. We recommend taking the time to determine which shows are appropriate for your children. Visit Orpheum-Memphis.com or call (901) 525-3000 if you have any questions. Firearms, knives, or weapons of any kind are prohibited inside the theatre. Help us keep our venues secure — if you see anything suspicious, please tell an usher or other Orpheum Theatre Group representative.

STAY SAFE

Masks are required to be worn while inside the Orpheum Theatre.

Stay home if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.

We have optimized our HVAC system to maximize our ventilation and outdoor airflow.

We have increased cleaning protocol throughout both of our venues.

Visit Orpheum-Memphis.com/Covid19 for the most up-to-date guidelines, facility upgrades, and safety protocol measures.
