Amway Arena

Orlando, FL - El domingo, 25 de marzo, a las 7:30 a.m., partes importantes del Amway Arena fueron objeto de una implosión para hacer espacio al desarrollo de Creative Village. La implosión dió a lugar después de activar una serie de explosivos que derribaron el techo y centro del edificio hacia dentro tras 10 a 15 segundos de explosiones. Después de la implosión, quedaron las cuatro esquinas de la arena y esa parte se va a demoler de la forma tradicional.

Amway Arena era la casa de los Orlando Magic de la NBA y la liga de Fútbol de los Orlando Predators. Originalmente fue diseñada para albergar 17,000 admiradores de la NBA cómodamente y hasta un par de mil aficionados de jazz. Orlando, FL - On Sunday, March 25th at 7:30 am significant parts of the Amway Arena were imploded to make way for the development at the Creative Village Site. The arena was imploded using a series of controlled explosives that imploded the roof and center of the building inward over 10 to 15 seconds. After the implosion, the four corners

of the arena were still standing and that area is going to be demolished traditionally. The Amway Arena, was home to the NBA’s Orlando Magic and the Arena Football’s Orlando Predators. It was originally designed to comfortably seat everything from 17,000 screaming NBA fans, to a few thousand jazz lovers. Originally named the Orlando Arena, it opened in January of 1989
