Editor's Note

Itis with great pleasure that we present the 2022-23 edition of Hispanic Culture Review. Our goal is to spread the ties of multiculturalism and establish links in the communities and institutions that are dedicated to the dissemination of Hispanic culture in Latin America and the United States. Our theme for this year is "Celebrating Our Connections," which sparked writers' imagination to tell us stories of joy, love, and nostalgia. The collaborators of this edition have inspired us to reflect on the connections that leave a mark on our lives and help discover ourselves.

We want to deeply thank the contributors who brought moving stories to us and the readers. Each contributor helped us to enter their world to share the same emotions, feelings, colors, and senses that arose at the time of their creation. This edition helped us reconnect with our roots and see the unique perspectives of other people who make an impact when crossing our lives.

Through these pages you will find inspiring stories that remind us to dream, live, feel, and rediscover ourselves. Each work represents the reflection of a world through the lens of each contributor. We hope that readers can learn about the richness of Hispanic culture through each of these works.

On behalf of the editorial team and myself, we would like to extend our gratitude for the immense support received by our advisors, Jason Hartsel and Professor Carla Burns. They supported us at every step of the publication and their support is essential not only for Hispanic Culture Review but to make our vision a reality. Likewise, we are extremely thankful to the George Mason University Office of Student Media for always supporting us each year.
