Hair Care Hello, summer! We have been looking so forward to seeing you, but when it comes to the hair, the hot, dry sun can be quite damaging on our lustrous mane. Here are a few products that will keep the hair clean, moisturized and protected. Swimming is common during the summer months, but take notice of the condition of your hair. Salt or chlorine water is bad for the hair because it strips the hair of its natural oils and moisture. That is why it is important to use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners for your hair to protect it from the effects of swimming.

Swimming Tips for Relaxed Hair 1.

If possible, wear a swimming cap to keep your hair from getting wet.

Saturate your hair with clean water before getting into the water, so it is less likely to absorb the chlorinated or saltwater.

If your hair gets wet, you’ll want to wash and condition it as soon as possible. It is imperative to nourish the hair strands.

Relaxed hair is more susceptible to keratin damage, so make sure that you are frequently conditioning your hair during the summer months so that you will not have damage to the hair strands.
