PARTICIPATION IN CLINICAL AUDITS National audits In 2019- 2020 the following nationally-mandated clinical audits were applicable to Camden and Islington Foundation Trust: a) The Prescribing Observatory for Mental Health (POMH-UK) facilitates national audit-based quality improvement programmes open to all specialist mental health services in the UK. The results for different audits will be published intermittently throughout the year, based on the POMH–UK schedule. The topics this year include the following: - 19a- Prescribing for depression in Adult Mental Health - 17b – The use of depot/long acting injectable antipsychotic medication for relapse prevention - 9d – Antipsychotic prescribing in people with a learning disability under the care of the Mental Health Services b) The Trust will continue to participate in the next round of POMH-UK audits in line with the national schedule. The Trust will use the results of completed audits to prescribing practices implemented in line with audit recommendations. Audit results will also be disseminated locally to share learning.
