Memories of Pride Puerto Vallarta has one of the world’s best pride festivals, even winning the 2018 Gay Travel Award as “best pride celebration.” Here are some photos of Pride celebrations from the past few years. The annual seven-day pride festival, organized by the local LGBT business association ACT LGBT A.C., is held in May each year. 2020 2020 was Puerto Vallarta’s first-ever virtual pride, held from June 8 to June 14, 2020. It was organized by Mandy McPherson and a hard-working group of volunteers. This on-line event brought forward a week full of live and recorded broadcasts, from cake baking lessons to live local performances. It was a true community effort bringing together all sections of the LGBTQ community.
