Date, Time and Briefing Introduction Welcome to Oxfam Trailwalker 2012! Oxfam Trailwalker is a challenging team event. Participants form a team of four to complete the 100km of MacLehose Trail and an additional route within a 48-hour time limit. This booklet will give you all the necessary information about the event, and we ask for your cooperation in making Oxfam Trailwalker 2012 a success. Last year 4,436 people braved the challenge of Oxfam Trailwalker in teams of four, and more than 75% completed the whole 100km trail. We raised over HK$27 million in 2011, which is being used to support development projects and emergency relief programmes around the world. All event costs are already covered, so the donations you raise will all go directly to Oxfam to help poor people. Thanks again to all the walkers, sponsors and volunteers. For further enquiries, please contact Oxfam Hong Kong. Our contact details are listed at the end of this booklet. Please quote your team number when making enquiries. Thank you for your cooperation.
