BESTSELLER has a great interest in entering in a work placement agreement with students from VIA Design. Generally, they show broad understanding of the company’s entire value chain and develop quickly an overview that allows them to perform independent tasks during their work placement. For BESTSELLER it is inspiring to meet students who are able to contribute with new ideas and input and also have the skills to solve tangible tasks with relatively few guidelines.

Retail Design
- Development of design and decoration concepts (store, fairs, showrooms, cafe, restaurant, etc.) including idea generation and sketching, use of
Space Management, 3-D drawing (sketchup), layout and project presentation - Maintain the store concept including development of individual elements and displays - Corporate identity – maintain the corporate identity in relation to the store’s signs and communication materials - Season planning and campaign descriptions - Development of the store’s communication materials and graphic design
Retail Management
- Store concept - analysis and strategic development - Analysis and design of customer experience strategy - HR strategy - identifying service and staff requirements in relation to the concept - CSR as a parameter in the company’s internal and external communication of the concept - including clarification of CSR in relation to employee motivation - Analysis of customer experiences in relation to the store’s website, store space and other points of customer contact - Retail operations - value chain and optimisation - Sales activities in the store - content, time schedule, budget and follow-up
Communication and Media Strategy
- Plan, develop and execute communication tasks according to the company’s overall strategy - PR campaigns in connection to a specific goal of the company - Plan events and communication activities including choice of media channels - Communicate the company’s CSR strategy to relevant stakeholders - Develop platforms for internal communication - Investigate and identify community trends within fashion and lifestyle - Communicate about various events
