Multiplatform Storytelling and Production

Multiplatform Storytelling and Production is a creative 3 ½-year study programme with focus on the interaction between different forms of cinematic narratives across digital platforms.

The programme is projectoriented during the first 2 years, and the students gain insights into idea generation and concept development, narrative techniques and production in a variety of genres, such as commercials, corporate films, experience design, music videos, fashion film, games and interactive productions.

The students have different project roles during their studies, and thus gain general competencies as well as the opportunity to obtain specialised knowledge in some areas.

The work placement can take place in many types of companies in a variety of industries such as media, fashion, film and television industry, but also in other industries that work professionally with branding and/or product sales through various digital media channels. During a work placement period, a student from Multiplatform Storytelling and Production, depending on his or her individual skills, will be able to work with the following tasks:

- Generate ideas and develop concepts - Build a narrative universe - Develop transmedia storytelling - Film production - Post production - Production and project management

Companies that hire students for a work placement get the opportunity to become acquainted with future multiplatform storytelling professionals. The work placement is during the 5th or 6th semester and by then the students have already gained solid theoretical background in cinematic narrative and digital platforms as well as practical experience from film production.
